China had to say a quick goodbye before she watched him go, slightly shocked at the sudden departure. She was confused, she had no idea what was going on. She walked back into the house and went up to the bedroom where Faye was sitting on the bed, looking quite bemused. What's going on? China asked her. Faye gestured for her to sit before she began to tell her the whole story.

Rome and Senshi, with the added help of magic, was able to trace back to where the trail had ended. It was surprisingly not far from the ranch, just one town over. Rome quickly concealed his magic and placed a disguise over both him and his Demon. His appearance was that of a much older man riding an aging grey mare. He rode through the streets of the quiet down at a slow walk, keeping a sharp eye out for the elusive silver haired man.

Back at the ranch Thistle had moved back up to lay on the front porch after watching Rome leave in a rush. She laid quietly with her head on her front paws, watching as Perce approached the house. The stallion stood a respectful distance from the wolf, understanding that she had been separated from her Master. He wouldn't know what to do without his connection to Faye.

China sat back, looking at Faye, the worry clear on her face.And are you alright?She asked her. Faye shrugged.Not really, but I have no choice. He refuses to be found.

Rome spotted an old shop at the end of the street that advertised magic potions and fortune tellings. He dismounted and led Senshi over to an alleyway. "Stay here until I call for you." he told his Demon who snorted softly. He walked back to the street and shuffled down the sidewalk, acting like the old man he appeared to be. He glanced up at the open sign of the shop and smiled. He opened the door and noticed no one was at the counter. He shuffled around, acting as though he were browsing the shelves full of bottles and odd items. A noise behind him caught his attention and he turned quickly, acting startled. He glanced up at the tall man in front of him and his eyes widened slightly. There was no question that this was Silva, but there were some drastic changes to his appearance. His face was thinner, almost to the point of being gaunt. The already thin man appeared to have lost quite a lot of weight in the time he was gone. His eyes seemed haunted and a small scent of alcohol drifted from him. But none of that even came in comparison to his hair. The usually long, straight hair that Silva had taken so much pride in was cut short in a cropped hairstyle.

Perce looked up at the house from his spot in the yard. He snorted softly before shifting to his human form which had grown aslo into a much more muscular, taller version of his human form as a colt. He quietly passed Thistle and entered the house, looking for Faye.

Faye wanted a drink, so she got up and went downstairs in search of water. She stopped in surprise when she saw Perce in his human form.Perce, can I help you? She said, her voice scratching ever so slightly, as if she had a cold. Faye's physique had suffered too in her time gone. Her cheeks were slightly hollowed, her waist much smaller. The slight muscle that she should have had naturally, given that she was a vampire, was gone.

Rome shook his head slightly, getting an odd look from Silva. "Can I help you?" the silver-haired man asked. "Oh...Yes! Of course." Rome said with a smile, looking the part of an innocent old man. "I was looking for something for my wife you see. We had an argument and I was hoping to get her something to change her mind. Maybe a pendant or charm necklace. She loves little trinkets like that." he told him. Silva simply nodded before leading the way to another isle. "If that's all you need I'll be at the front counter." he told the old man. "Wait a minute there lad!" Rome called out. "I'm not quite sure what to get. Maybe you could help an old man decide? I'm sure you have girls stopping by everyday. You must know a little something." he asked Silva. Silva's face showed a flash of pain. "I gave up on love a long time ago." he growled quietly, turning and swiftly going through a door in the back of the store.

Perce looked down at Faye. "Can I get you anything? Perhaps something to eat?" he asked his Master. He had been worried for her since the day they left the ranch. Her slow deterioration was agony for him to watch. He was relieved when they headed back for home.

Faye shivered slightly at the mention of something to eat. Her stomach growled angrily and she tried to ignore it. This had been her life for the last year. She could eat as much as she wanted, but she wasn't giving her body what it really needed. Blood. She had been denying herself blood for so long now. She would not even tell Perce why. She went into the kitchen and got herself a glass of water, gulping it down. She finished the glass and poured herself another.

Rome sighed and shook his head. He left the store and returned to Senshi. He quickly mounted and settled into the saddle. "We need to get home quickly. The only one that is going to change his mind...no, his heart, is the one who broke it." he sighed heavily. Once they were a good distance from the town he released the disguise. He quickly urged Senshi into a gallop and they took off towards the ranch.

Perce frowned sadly. "I am your Demon, Faye." he mumbled. "Do not try to hide things from me. Please just be open with me. I know you crave blood. You are half vampire wether you wish to acknowledge it or not." he told her as he came up behind her. He gently laid a hand on her shoulder and bent his head down to nuzzle her cheek as he would in his horse form. "I care for you and watching you slowly waste away is agony." he sighed. "If you need anything you know I'd gladly give you what you need."

Faye turned and looked at Perce.I don't need it. I can manage without it. I'm fine, really I am.She gave him her best fake smile and started to walk past him.

Perce reached out and grabbed her by her shoulders, spinning her back around to face him. "Please Faye. You and I both know you can't go on like this." he told her, his voice full of worry. "Why won't you let me help you? I am your Demon Faye. I am here for you. Please... just let me try to make things better." he all but begged her with his tone and his eyes desperately.

A short cry of pain came from Faye as she was grabbed by the shoulders. She turned her face away from Perce, her jaw set.I'm a monster. I hurt people so that I can live. You don't understand. You didn't hear what they sad to me.At the last words her voice trembled and she had to force herself not to cry.

Perce winced at her cry of pain, but didn't let her go. "Faye...I am your Demon. If you can not produce the synthetic blood that Silva once did then I will willingly give you my own. Through our bond you will be able to tell if you have taken to much. Please take my offer seriously. I only wish to help you. My main purpose is to serve you and keep you healthy and happy, both of which you are not." he told her sternly.

Faye looked at him, an unreadable expression on her face.Let go of me Perce.

(I am soooo sorry I haven't been on lately!!! My life has been crazy busy!)

Perce jerked his hands back as if he had been shocked, a look of pure pain flashing across his face before he let his head drop. "Yes Master. I apologize." he said in an almost robotic voice. His concern for Faye being forced back by his inability to go against a direct command from his master.

Rome and Senshi came galloping down the dirt driveway of the ranch at almost break-neck speed. Rome pulled Senshi to a sliding stop only a few feet from the porch. He leaped off of the panting, sweat soaked stallion and raced into the house in search of his daughter.

(Ugh same I just moved country)

Faye felt the tears rising up again. She hated using commands on Perce but sometimes it was all she could think of.

Perce kept his head bowed and took another step back before standing completely still. He wanted so badly to help Faye, but he knew he couldn't if she wouldn't let him. He didn't even move when Rome came running through the door behind him.

Faye looked away, unable to look at what she was doing to Perce. She looked up in surprise when her father came running through the door behind Perce.What's going on?She asked.Did you find him? Is he okay? What's wrong?

(I am SOOOOOO sorry!!! I have been out of state for the past two weeks with little to no internet connection)

Rome held up a hand to stop her questions as he caught his breath. Once he could speak he looked up at Faye with a grim expression. "I found him. He is living just in the town next to ours. He must have remained close this entire time, probably waiting for you to return." he told her. "However he is not well. I don't know how much longer he will be around." he commented quietly.

(It's ok)

Faye let him catch his breath. At the mention of her lover, she jumped forward to go past Rome, saying Well then we dont have much time do we? LEt's go!

Rome reached out and grabbed his daughters shoulder to stop her. "I can not go with you. I have already been in the magic store that he is residing in. If he manages to catch a trace of my magic there he will be looking for me which worries me that he may act hastily. Take Perce and go quickly. Senshi can lead you to the town, but he must not go with you all the way. Good luck and be careful." he told his daughter, pulling her into a gentle hug before releasing her.

Faye curled her lip when Rome grabbed her shoulder, ready to fight him off should she need to. At his instruction, however, she reached up and hugged him back, then walked out of the house, trusting that Perce would follow.

Rome watched Faye go before he left the room to find China.

Perce followed after Faye quietly and the moment he stepped off of the front porch he shifted into his natural form. The large stallion shook himself before moving over to stand beside Senshi who was ready to lead his Master's daughter to the nearby town.

China lay on the bed in her bedroom, reading a book on femininity (Don't ask).

Faye sung herself onto Perce with such grace that she barely made a noise. She gave Senshi a nod as she settled herself on Perce's back.

Rome headed up the stairs to his and China's room. He stepped through the door and moved over to their bed. He collapsed face first into the pillows next to his wife. "If we have anymore children I am hoping it is a son." he mumbled into the pillows.

Perce and Senshi both waited until Faye was settled before the huge black stallion took off with the appaloosa right behind him. Senshi retraced his steps all the way back to the outskirts of town. When they were a safe distance without being detected he slowed to a stop and waited for Perce to stop beside him. Senshi shifted into his human form and laid a large hand gently on on her knee. "I saw him through my link with your father. He is not the same man he used to be. Be very careful. His little store is just off the main road. I will be waiting here. Send Perce if you require my assistance." he told her before stepping back.

China rolled her eyes with a slight smile and reached over to gently run her fingers through his hair.No more children. One is enough. She sighed.

Faye covered Senshi's large hand with her own small, delicate one. She had always loved Senshi as a sort of uncle, or big brother.Thank you. She said simply. She dismounted swiftly from Perce and rubbed his mane.I'll be back. She then took off towards the store. Upon seeing it,she went inside, glancing around with curiosity.
