Faye ran her right hand through his cropped hair, sighing slightly.That was no reason the cut your hair off.

Silva started to lean into the touch, but forced himself not to at her words. He jerked his head away from her hand and looked straight into her eyes. "You do not understand. I thought you were never coming back. I tried everything to get rid of anything that reminded me of you, including my hair. I thought for sure that I was cursed to lose anyone I loved. I really did not care anymore. I have tried everything to just end it all, but my foolish spellcastor blood would not let me. My last resort was the drinking. I hoped that it would at least be enough to numb everything so I could forget if only for a short time." he told her, his voice still slurring at some points since the magic in his blood had not burned away all of the alcohol yet.

Faye took her hand back, slight hurt showing in her eyes as he jerked away. She looked down at her hands,left one shaking slightly.I'm sorry, Silva. I didn't know what I was doing. You seem to forget how quickly I grew up. Love was a new feeling for me. It made me want to run away, so I did. I'm sorry. She bit her lip as she held back the tars that were threatening to overflow.

Silva immediately felt guilt at the hurt in her eyes. The feeling only increased at her words. "I don't understand. I know you grew up fast, to fast, but you were always the one who seemed like you wanted more out of our relationship. I wanted to start slow and make sure you were okay with everything, but I also didn't want to make you think I wasn't interested. When you talked about there being something better out there I was sure I had done something to upset you. I thought you were done. I got angry and I guess I just didn't want to be the one left behind. I'm the one who should be apologizing." he told her, staring down on the ground. The alcohol fogging his mind not letting him control what he said. His hands started shaking and the moment he caught sight of one of the bottles of whiskey that was sitting on the floor next to him he reached over and snatched up the bottle, pulled off the top, and lifted it to his lips.

Faye reached for the bottle in his hand and took it away gently, putting it on the table behind her.I don't know what I was doing, okay? But I swear to you that I was always going to come back, even if it didn't seem like it.

Silva barely resisted when she took the bottle, but he did look down at his trembling hands when she spoke. "Are you here to stay? Or are you going to leave again?" he asked, not looking up.

Faye put the bottle on the desk.I can't leave again. I don't have any place in the world, and the world doesn't have any place for me.She said simply. I won't leave you again Silva. She whispered.

Silva jerked his head up at her words. "That's a lie!" he snapped. "You've always had a place in this world."

Faye just shrugged, wincing slightly.Does it matter? She sighed. I just hope that you'll be able to forgive me one day... She choked on the last words slightly, staring intently at the ground. Her chin trembled slightly as she held back tears.

Silva was about to argue further, but stopped himself at the sight of the tears in her eyes. He picked himself up off the ground and took a sluggish step up to Faye. He lifted one shaky hand up to cup the side of her face, running a trembling thumb over her cheek. He gently lifted her chin so that he could look into her eyes. "It would be ridiculous for me not to forgive the woman I love." he whispered quietly, his speech still somewhat slurred.

Faye blinked back her tears as she gazed up at Silva. She gave him a small smile before she gently took his shaking hand away. You are going to have a monster of a headache in the morning.She stated.

Silva gave her a goofy smile before frowning at her words. "I've got a headache now." he grumbled, reaching back for the bottle Faye had set on the desk.

Faye smacked his hand and grabbed the bottle, hugging it to her chest.Enough of that.

Silva frowned and pulled his hand back in surprise when she smacked it. "Why?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

Because you're barely able to speak as it is, Silva. Faye folded her arms.

"I can speak!" he exclaimed, slurring slightly. "You can understand me can't you?" he asked.

Faye sighed patiently.You're very drunk right now Silva. I think you should sleep this one off, maybe, before you do something you regret.

Silva shook his head. "I'm fine." he argued. "Faye, what could one drink hurt?" he asked.

You're still drunk, Silva. Faye said.

"And your point is?" he asked, cocking an eyebrow. "I've been drinking for almost a year and it hasn't caused any problems."

Faye frowned.So this whole time I was gone, you just got drunk?

Silva frowned when Faye frowned. "It was better than remembering things." he grumbled.

Faye took Silva's hand.Come on, lets get you home and into bed.

Silva grumbled but didn't resist when she took his hand.

Faye pulled him out of the shop and called for Perce.
