Ana was trying to focus on something- anything, as she saw the world go by. But everything was moving too fast for her to focus on and it all became a big blur.

Careta made sure that they were far away from the castle and the stench of Vampires before stopping. She laid Ana down carefully on the ground.

Careta hovered over the woman worried and nervous. She was afraid of causing her further pain by touching her. "Ana can you hear me?" she asked.

Careta couldn't help a small smile at Ana's words. "I think being put in a blender would have been easier. You probably need to lay down for a little while longer though." she told her.

A wave of dizzyness comfirmed that statement and Ana fell back down with a groan.

Careta moved quickly and kept Ana from hitting her head on the ground. "On second thought, you may not want to move for a long while." she muttered.

Ana mumbled something about unhelpful werewolves.

Careta scowled down at Ana. "I'm doing the best I can. You're the one who got mixed with the wrong crowd." she mumbled.

Ana stared at her when she said that. The world seemed to blur as tears gathered in her eyes.

Careta noticed the tears and instantly regretted what she said. "Sorry. Forget I said that. I know it wasn't your fault." she apologized.

Ana sat up as the dizzyness passed.

Careta's eyes where filled with worry. "Are you sure you should be getting up?" she asked.

Ana only nodded and pushed herself up to her feet. She glanced at Careta and then burst into tears.

Careta's eyes widened in surprise when Ana burst into tears. Her wolf instincts kicked in instantly and she moved forward to wrap her arms around her, trying to offer some comfort. "Shh...It'll be alright." she told her quietly.

Ana leaned in to the woman. How could this happen to me?

Careta smoothed back Ana's hair and rubbed her back gently. "It could have happened to anyone. It wasn't your intention." she said softly.

Ana sobbed into the werewolfs shoulder.
