Fenris stared back at her fully. "If you want to know more then ask Ashton. He knew her longer." He told her quietly.

Ana shook her head.I'm sure he would have told me if if mattered.She said, before getting up to go to bed.

Fenris frowned and grabbed Ana's hand. He pulled her back to him and hugged her tightly. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He whispered quietly against her hair.

She sighed.I'll believe anything these days.

"I'll explain in our room." He told her quietly. He looked over to the boy and frowned. "Where shall we put him for the night?" He asked.

Ana kneeled down in front of the child.Mathew, where do you want to sleep?She said. Her words, however, were on deaf ears. The little boy seemed to be in a sleeping state already, as still as a statue made of stone. He slept standing up. Ana frowned and went to grab Fenris's hand before pulling him upstairs to their room.

Fenris stared at the boy, shaking his head. He would, and never wished, to understand vampires. He held tightly to Ana's hand when she grabbed his and silently followed her.

Ana immediately started getting dressed into her bedclothes, a white shift.

Fenris watched her for a moment in silence before moving to slip out of his daytime clothes and into a pair of loose sleeping pants.

Ana lifted the covers on her side, climbing in and shimying down the sheets before curling up into a ball, creating a little cucoon in the blankets. She smiled lightly at Fenris.You gonna tell me the story of Bella or what?She said, sounding like a small child.

Fenris smiled softly at Ana before climbing in on his side of the bed. He took a deep breath and tried to prepare himself to tell her the truth. "First I wan't you to understand that I love only you. Do you trust me on that?" He asked quietly.

Ana grinned at him, her mouth lifting at the corners.Of course. I know you don't love anyone else.She said. She was wondering what was troubling him so, and seeing him having to prepare to tell her something was slightly worrying to her, but she brushed the worry away in the confidence that he would have told her if it affected her.

Fenris took another deep breath before looking at Ana. "The first time I met Bella I thought she was the most interesting woman I had ever met. I was quickly attracted to her uniqueness and strength. She even helped the pack by helping me rid them of my brothers' cruel leadership. She had only one flaw. She had these episodes where she would completely lose control of herself. It never bothered me though." He told her, his voice strained. "I even offered her the position as my pack queen."

Ana now had her head on Fenrises shoulder. She was listening intently to him, her eyes gazing up at him as she drank in her words. She frowned when she felt a sudden jerk of energy inside her and an image of a strange woman, but let it pass and concentrated on Fenris.

Fenris rested his cheek against the top of Ana's head and sighed. "She meant the world to me at the time." He said quietly. "It didn't last long though. One night in our cave we had a visitor. I was captured and taken away. Bella tried to help me and we were both injured. I faced an angry wizard, a temporary imprisonment, and a man with a gun for her. I was without a doubt in love with her, but our world came crashing down when she had another episode." He broke off and took another deep breath. "Bella disappeared the same day someone new came into my life."

Ana listened to his story with a look of wonder on her face.When you found me, I didn't know where I was. It was like I had been asleep for years. She muttered.

Fenris nodded slightly at her words. "You probably had been. You just weren't asleep technically, just someone else." He told her quietly.

Anas eyebrows scrunched together.How? What do you mean?

Fenris shrugged slightly. "Your mind might have been taken over by a different mind. Same body just a different mind." He told her.

Ana was quiet for a moment. She suddenly tensed up.Fenris, do you hear a...Was as far as she was able to get before there was a ripping sound and her  jaw went slack, her eyes staring. A single tear dripped onto her pillow. Her son stood right behind her, blood dripping down his chin.

Fenris eyes windened briefly before a howl of outrage burst from his throat at the sight of the vampire child. He snarled and leaped, shifting in mid air. His fangs aimed straight for the boy's neck.

Careta heard her brother's howl and kept to her feet. She raced from Ashton's room to Ana's and Fenris's room. She got there just in time to see Fenris leap before she saw Ana.

The boy saw the oncoming rush of anger and seemed to not be worried in the slightest. He ghosted to the side, narrowly avoiding the fangs that barely grazed his neck.

Ashton heard the commotion and stumbled out of bed and into Anas room. When he saw the state of his sister he choked and let out a shuddering gasp.

Fenris snarled when he missed the boy's throat. He landed and spun to face the vampire child. A sudden burning sensation overwhelmed him, starting from his very bones and spreading outwards. This time he didn't fight it. His body exploded in a mass of muscle and fur, reshaping itself. Colmillo had come to play.

Careta snarled in fury and nearly leapt to join her brother, but at the sight of the Ancient's appearance and Ashton's arrival she held herself back. She raced forward and snatched Ana into her arms. She ran to the door before unceremoniously throwing Ashton over her slender shoulder and darting out of the room. She quickly brought both of them to a smaller room that was meant as a safe place when the building was first built. She set Ashton on his feet and gently laid Ana on the small bed. She was panting slightly at the weight she had just carried. It was nothing to carry a couple of humans but once Changed the body became much heavier.

Mathew stood before the giant wolf, seemingly unperturbed by the mass of fur and muscle. He out his hands on his hips and cocked his head, daring the wolf to continue.

Ashton let out a startled grunt as the slighter female threw him over her shoulder. When they arrived in the small room he could do nothing but sink down in the corner, staring at his dead sister with a pained expression.

(Ana really dead? )

Colmillo snarled, the man inside of him was howling in pain and fury. His lips pulled back in a sadistic smile. He leaped at the child, his speed rivaling any vampire's. His claws were eager to shed blood.

Careta was stunned. She stared at the woman, fear filling every part of her body. If Ana was dead she could only imagine what her brother might do.
