"I'm sure. I'm not about to let a Vampire frighten me off." Careta told her, a growl at the thought of Dracula rumbling in her throat.

Ana smiled gratefully.Lets go then.

Careta nodded. "Quickly, while Fenris is asleep." she told her quietly.

Ana went downstairs and opened the front door.

Careta followed quickly, but Shifted before she went out the door. She tried not to use her human form often for the main reason that she didn't want humans recognizing her.

Ana walked in the direction of the castle when she felt a small pain in her stomach. She ignored it and kept walking.

The pure white wolf followed along at her side. Careta would occasionally sniff at the air or dart away to investigate something, but she never strayed far from the expecting Were.

Ana saw the castle looming up in the near distance. The pain in her stomach flared up again, harder. She frowned but kept walking.

Careta had just come back to Ana's side when she noticed the woman's frown. 'What is it?' she asked. She growled at the strong whiff of Vampire scent she caught on the breeze and looked up to see the large castle she had nearly stumbled upon when she was looking for Fenris.

Ana shook her head.Nothing.As the castle loomed over them Ana felt a sense of fear overtake her.

Careta moved closer to the woman. She sniffed the air and looked up at Ana at the smell of fear coming from her. 'What's wrong?' she asked.

Ana stared at the wolf.We are about to walk into the castle of the lord of the vampires and his three bloodthirsty brides.

Careta shrugged her fur shoulders. 'They are just a bunch of leeches and they smell funny.' she said dismissively. She knew that the creatures were strong and were capable of intelligent thoughts, but she believed that if you feared the possibility of dying than you might as well be dead. There was no point in fearing the inevitable.

Ana shrugged and nodded.You're right.As the castle loomed over them she fought back a gulp.

Careta gave her a wolfey smile and continued to pad along beside Ana. Her hackles rose a little as the smell grew stronger.

Ana paused at the door before slowly opening it.

Careta crouched down, her teeth bared as Ana opened the door. She wanted to be ready to attack anything.

Ana stepped tentively inside. She looked up to seena dark shape on the stairs and swallowed hard.

Careta followed Ana in and spotted the figure on the stairs. A growl rumbled from the base of her throat.

Dracula smelled the scent of another werewolf and snarled. He came down the stairs so fast that he seemed to disappear at the top and reappear at the bottom, even though he was casually walking. His arms were folded behind his back.

Careta followed his fast movements with her eyes, the hackles along her back standing on end. She returned the snarl and moved to stand in front of Ana protectively.

Dracula laughed at the wolf.Silly wolf. You overeact.He said. He looked at Ana. Ana sneered at him.You know what I am here for.She whispered. Dracula nodded, seemingly pleased with himself. He smiled as though he knew something delightful.

Careta growled at the comment, his laughter making her skin crawl.

The Transylvanian vampire was obviously very amused. He counted in his head, 3... 2.. 1.. Ana cried out and fell to the ground.Dracula sighed.You are very unobservant.He told Careta.
