China looked at Rome, then Silva, then Fletcher.Ayra can give you energy.She said, looking at Rome and Silva.Silva... she will not harm you in any way.

Rome was about to agree when he saw Silva shaking his head furiously. "I hate cats. Especially big ones. I'm not going any where near that thing." he told them, crossing his arms. "Are you serious?" Rome asked. "Like I said, I hate cats, cats hate me. End of story." Silva retorted. A sudden growl from outside had both of them spinning to the entrance. Rome pushed China behind him as Silva took a step back cursing. "I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm sooo dead." he muttered just as a huge black wolf stalked into the hideout. Her golden eyes glaring straight at Silva, teeth bared.

China looked curiously at the wolf, but did not move from behind Rome.Who is this?Fletcher reeled back as if he'd been hit.What the hell!?

The wolf continued to stalk forward and Silva continued to back away. "C-come on Thistle, be resonable. Rome was in trouble. It wasn't like I had a choice. I didn't leave you on purpose." he spoke to the wolf, talking fast. He suddenly turned and bolted, knocking over a chair and jumping over the bed. The wolf snarled and jumped over the chair easily and leaped onto the bed, revealing a star and moon brand on her shoulder. The wolf snagged Silva's ankle in her mouth. Silva let out a shout of surprise as he faceplanted on the floor. The wolf lunged forward and grabbed the back of the spellcastor's neck in her sharp teeth.

Rome burst out laughing as he saw his friend fall to the floor. "It's Thistle. I guess she's Silva's spellcastor demon. The last time I saw her she was just a pup. Her attitude sure hasn't changed since then though. That's one doggy you don't want to make mad. She was vicious with her puppy teeth. I can't imagine what those fangs must be like." he told China after he got his breath back, still chuckling.

She laughed with him, not sensing any danger.So, what, are you not allowed to leave your demon? She looked at Fletcher, he was leaning back so hard that the wall began to crumble.

Rome shrugged. "I have no idea. I'm just getting used to the whole spellcastor thing." he told her, trying to hide his smile as he looked at Silva. Silva was holding very still trying not to make the wolf any angrier. "I'm sorry Thistle. You know the promise I made. It wasn't like I meant to leave you alone." he whined. The wolf finally pulled back, her teeth hadn't even left a dent in Silva's skin. Her hackles were still raised and her body tense, radiating anger. She let out a growl and turned to glare at everyone else. She looked at Rome and her fur relaxed slightly when she recognized him. The female had a weird scent, but she didn't seem dangerous so she looked at the male against the wall. She could smell one of Silva's spells and his actions made her fur stand on end again. She let out a low growl and took a threatening step towards him as Silva sat up behind her rubbing his neck. "What's his deal?" he asked China, looking from her to Fletcher.

Fletcher bared his teeth and a loud snarl ripped through his lips. He struggled against the bonds that were holding him down, his moves becoming more and more panicked as the wolf got closer. China looked at him and grimaced slightly.He was orphaned by a wolves doing when he was 15 years old. His parents were ripped in half.She looked at Silva.He's strong and clever for a vampire. Are you sure the bonds are tight?

Silva muttered another spell, re-envorcing the bonds again. "They should stay tight. It'd take another spellcastor to break them, but it'd be difficult for even them to do so." he told her. He watched as Thistle moved closer to Fletcher and stood with his move open as the wolf's fur laid flat and her tail started to wag. "You can't be serious! Is everyone here is a vampire lover!?" he exclaimed, dragging a hand down his face. Thistle padded up to the struggling male and licked his cheek before sitting back, her tongue hanging out of her mouth in a wolfy grin. She had been saved from a river as a pup from a male who smelled just like him before she met Silva and became his demon.

Fletcher froze. His eyes widened with shock, then he jerked himself away from the creature. Please! Please, let me go! I'll do anything, I'll promise anything, just get me away from that creature!China stuck her tongue out at Silva. A faint glimmer of worry appeared on her face as she wached Fletcher suffer. She turned away from him.I... I need some fresh air.She said, glancing outside to make sure it was dark.

Thistle whined and laid on the ground, lowering her head to look non-threatening. She wagged her tail and let out a small yip. "This is not happening!" Silva shouted, sticking his tongue out at China. Rome glared at Silva then looked at China. "Do you want me to come with you?" he asked.

She looked up at him.I need a minute.She stroked his cheek before gliding out to sit in a tree and lay in the branches, gazing at the moon. Fletcher looked at the spellcasters, seemingly calm again.She hates herself, you know.His eyes turned wistful as he gazed at the place where she'd been standing last.

Rome sighed. "I'm really starting to realize how much I don't know about her." he muttered, looking at the entrance. He looked at Fletcher. "What do you mean?" he asked. Silva rolled his eyes. "She's a vampire." he mummbled under his breath. Thistle turned her head to look at him when he spoke and he glared at her. "Traitor." he hissed half-heartedly, earning him a sharp growl.

She put her hand in front of herself, watching the moonlight glint off it. She sighed, and climbed higher into the tree, laying down in a higher set of branches.When I created her, she ran from me. She was young and violent and thirsty. She wiped out most of the country. She vowed to herself that she would never bite another human again.He looked at Rome, jealousy in his eyes.She must love you with every fiber of her being, to save your life with an act that she banned herself from. She has always been a mystery, even to me. And I have known her since the 13 hundreds.China looked down at the river water. She felt like a swim.

Rome stared at Fletcher in shock but quickly shook it off. "Why did you bite her? Did she want to be like you?" he asked. He thought about his words and shook his head. He didn't think that China loved him that much, maybe a little but enough to do something like that had him stunned. He jumped when Thistle let out a sharp growl and stood. She turned and padded over to Silva. They stared at each other for a moment before Silva nodded and the wolf raced out of the entrance. "What's going on?" Rome asked. "She's just going out to catch dinner." Silva told him. Rome relaxed, the wolf had gone out and caught their dinner ever since they were kids, it was nothing unusual.

Thistle raced through the trees, barely paying attention to China's scent. She could smell a wounded doe not far away and tracked it down easily. She watched as the injured animal stumbled through the trees and licked her lips. She dashed forward and barreled into its side, her fangs latching into its throat. With a quick jerk of her head she tore open its throat and watched as blood pooled on the ground. A sudden snap behind her had her spinning around to see what was there. She barely had a chance to yelp as a bear's huge paw swept her off her paws and sent her crashing into a tree. The large creature had been able to sneak up on her when the doe's blood had been blocking her sense of smell. She could only lay helplessly as the bear approached, her body to stunned by the attack to move. She let out a terrified whine as the bear brought his claws down. Her blood splattered the ground next to the doe's.

Silva had just stood back up when he suddenly screamed and fell to his knees. He curled into a ball on the ground as pain filled his body, crying out in agony. Rome ran to his friend's side and grabbed his shoulder. "Silva?! Silva what's going on?" he asked, his voice not hiding his fear at seeing his friend like that. Silva had always been the strong one of the two. "T-thistle...Something's g-got Thistle." Silva tried to tell him, his voice filled with terror and pain.

Because she was dying.China whipped her head around as she smelt animal blood splatter the ground. She jumped out of the tree and landed soundlessly, planning to hunt, when she heard the pained cries of Silva. She called to Ayra.Go and see what you can find.Ayra nodded once, and jumped into the bushes. China turned her head and darted in to Rome's hide out so fast, she seemed to disappear, and reappeared beside Rome. Rome? What's wrong with Silva?

Thistle could only watch as the bear left, dragging the doe with it. She shuddered as she laid on the cold ground, barely conscious. She heard the sound of large paws coming her way and thought maybe the bear was coming back. She caught the scent of a large cat and let out a weak growl just as the darkness overwhelmed her.

Rome jerked his head up at China's voice and didn't even try to hide the fear in his eyes. He had no idea what was going on. "Help T-Thistle!" Silva suddenly cried out and his entire body convulsed before going limp on the ground. His eyes rolled back and his mouth fell slack. Rome looked down and shook Silva's shoulders. "Silva?! Silva wake up!" he shouted. He looked up at China his eyes desperate. "He said something's got Thistle, but I don't know what he means." he told her, voice fearful.

Ayra ran to Thistle and snuffled around the wolf, trying to find a sign of life. She scanned the area for the bear. China closed her eyes. Suddenly, she gasped and opened them.Thistle... she's badly hurt... Fletcher sat up.What's wrong with wolf-dude?He had a smirk on his face. Ayra growled in frustration.

Rome looked from China to Silva, trying not to panic. "Is it going to be okay if I leave him here for awhile? I need to get Thistle and bring her back." he asked her.

Rome nodded and whistled loudly as he stood up. Senshi came galloping into the hideout and spun around. Rome grabbed the stallion's mane and jumped quickly onto his back. The huge horse took off at a dead run and raced out of the hideout and into the trees. He had caught the scent of the wolf's blood and had already been on his way to Rome when he heard the familiar whistle. Senshi skidded to a stop as the trees became thicker. "Ayra!" Rome shouted, looking into the dark for the large tiger.

Ayra paused, hearing the sound of her name being called. Her ears twitched, picking up the direction, and then she ran to the sound. She burst out of the bushes and skidded to a halt at Senshi's feet. She growled and tugged on Rome's clothes, willing him to follow her. Fletcher looked at China.So, we're finally alone.China turned.So?

Senshi snorted fearfully when the tiger jumped out of the trees next to him and side stepped. Rome placed a hand over the spellcastor's brand to calm him before jumping to the ground. He quickly followed the large cat with Senshi following at a distance from Ayra.

Ayra led him through complicated and unknown paths, until they finally came to Thistle. Fletcher grinned.Untie me, China.His magic was to influence people's minds.Come on, now.China blinked and tried to resist.Rome, where are you?She thought.
