Rome changed back to his human form and held his hands against his ears, the loud bang still ringing in them. Silva was doing the same thing, trying to keep and eye on the two vampires. Senshi let out another piercing scream and reared, his huge hooves flailing in the air.

China and Fletcher jumped up at the same time. Fletcher smiled and ran towards Rome, China rammed him from the side, resulting in another massive bang. Dust fell from the cave ceiling. They rolled around, trying to hit each other, hissing and snarling.

The two spellcastors nearly fell to their knees at the next bang, their ears ringing. Silva grabbed Rome and yanked him towards the stallion. He muttered a spell that put up a strong barrier that kept everything out, including sound. He sighed in relief and turned to calm the horse down. Once he was done he turned to see his friend staring at the fight. "You can't do anything now, but let them fight." he told Rome, putting a hand on his shoulder.

They crashed into each other, the noise almost shaking the ground. Fletcher rolled to the side, and China's elbow connected with his jaw. He roared, got up and slashed the knife upwards. China screamed and stumbled back, a deep slit appearing in her forearm. She took a deep breath and snarled loudly, dipping under his arms and swiping his legs from underneath him.

Rome gasped as he saw the man hurt China. Silva leaped forward to keep Rome from leaving the barrier. He wrapped his arm around his friend's throat and dragged him back, barely able to keep a hold of the struggling man.

She turned towards Rome, seeing Silva with his arm around his throat, she got distracted for one minute. Fletcher rammed into her.

Silva cursed under his breath as Rome struggled even more. "Hold still!" he growled. He sighed and started to whisper a long complicated spell. He watched as the shadows in the room moved across the floor and suddenly lashed out at the male vampire. Wrapping around his arms, legs, and the rest of his body. The Frozen Shadow spell caused its victim to be unable to move.

She made a small Mmmhhh sound. She shoved him back and he flew into the wall, making a huge crack. He didn't move again.

Silva released Rome and quickly picked up some rope. He cast a spell on it and bound the male vampire tightly before leaning him up against the wall. He went over and sat down heavily in a chair, exhausted. The Frozen Shadow spell wasn't the hardest spell, but it did take a lot of energy to cast.

Rome ran to China as soon as he was released, wrapping her into a tight hug. "Are you alright? Who is he? What does he want from you?" he asked her, checking her over.

She hugged him back. That was my creater. He wants me to be his mate.

Rome pulled away slightly. "Do you want him the same way?" he asked, his expression unreadable. Silva snorted. "If she did, don't you think she wouldn't have fought against him? You are so stupid sometimes it puts the spellcastor name to shame." he said rolling his eyes and shaking his head.

She looked up at him.What? No!Fletcher suddenly woke up, and tried to move.Don't listen to her!He shouted, straining against the bonds.She's a murderer!China froze, not even breathing.Fletcher, don't...

Rome turned and glared at Fletcher, stepping in front of China. "Why should we believe you?" he snapped. Silva rolled his eyes. "Of course she's a murderer. If you hadn't noticed, she's a vampire." he said sarcasticly, putting his feet up on the table. He muttered another spell that re-enforced the spells already on the bonds.

He smiled eerily. Oh, but you weren't there, were you? The Black Plague, the Famine... they never happened. They weren't the cause of the sudden drop in population.Tears spilled down China's cheeks.No... please...

Rome grabbed China and pulled her against his chest. "Shhh. It doesn't matter. The past is the past, you can't change it. It doesn't change my feelings for you." he whispered against her hair. Silva shrugged. "Of course we weren't there, we weren't even born yet. Anyways, weren't most decreases in population because of your kind?" he snapped sarcasticly.

The man laughed.Ah, stupid human. Didn't you know? If you didn't have your arms around her, your friend would be dead.China hissed at him as she stayed locked in her stance. She knew if she moved, Silva would die.Not my kind. Her kind. A black tiger, and a vampire, mixed like a party cocktail.The man laughed again.

Silva growled. "I can handle myself and Rome isn't a weak human." he snapped. "What do you mean 'black tiger'?" he asked. In all of his studies he couldn't remember anything like that. Rome glanced down at China then glared at the man. He wouldn't listen to anything Fletcher said.

China kept her eyes on Rome's chest, trying to distract herself.A black tiger is a female who is emotionally connected to a black tiger. They know where each other are, all the time, 24 /7. And what hurts one... hurts the other.She said, softly.

Silva put his feet on the ground. "Then where's the tiger?" he asked warily, his hand moving to his sword. Rome pulled China closer. He didn't care what China was. He was a cross between a spellcastor and a vampire so what was the difference?

She closed her eyes and breathed out. Then she opened them, and a large black tiger with blood red stripes padded in to the hideout.Ayra. Thank you. You may leave.With a growl at Fletcher, Ayra padded out. China sighed, and relaxed against Rome. She was exhausted. Fletcher growled at Rome.

Silva froze when the tiger came into the hideout, but didn't relax when it left. "Thank you? You're thanking a huge cat? For what?" he asked, his eyes on the hideout's entrance. He hated cats. He was more of a dog person. Rome held China tightly against him, returning Fletcher's growl.

For coming when I called. She's more than a cat to me.She replied. She put one arm around Rome and used the other to sweep her hair over her shoulder. Fletcher growled in annoyance. When do I get out of these stupid damn ropes?

Silva rolled his eyes at China and turned to look at the man. "If I could have my way you'd rot in those ropes. Then again these two will probably talk me into setting you free so that you can go ruin some more humans' lives." he told the vamp. Rome glared at Silva before looking at China. "What do you think?" he asked her quietly.

I... I don't know. I don't want him free, but I don't want him here.She looked up at Rome, tired and confused. What do you think we should do?

Rome shrugged and looked at Silva. "Is there a spell that will keep him from harming China if we let him go?" he asked his friend. Silva thought for a moment, still keeping his eyes on the entrance just in case the tiger came back. "There may be one...but it'll take more energy than either of us have at the moment. Not that I don't have enough to kick your butt." he told Rome, adding the last part as he looked at Fletcher.
