She was sobbing now and pointing at the door. The small boy waited outside the door patiently. Ana screamed again and covered her face with her hands.

Fenris was trying to decide between trying to comfort Ana or confronting whatever had frightened her. His decision was made for him when Careta appeared at his side and sat beside Ana. His sister carefully rested a hand on the distraught woman's shoulder, trying to comfort her a little. Fenris approached the door with a snarl. He slammed it open, ready to attack whatever was on the other side, teeth bared.

Ana jumped when the door opened, trying to scramble farther away. The little child who looked about 10 but was probably not looked up at Fenris with a confused face. I'm hungry. He said to Fenris. His accent was thick Transylvanian. His fangs showed when he talked.

Fenris' expression went from furious to bewildered then back to furious. He had caught sight of the fangs the moment the boy spoke. "How dare you trespass in my territory?" he snarled.

The boy grinned again. It is not trespassing if one of my parents live here. He said.

Fenris snarled at the boy. "I can assure you that not a single one of you parents are in my territory and if they were they are no longer in existence." he growled.

The little boy pointed at Ana, who was hyperventilating. Mummy. He said.

Fenris looked to where the boy was pointing and bristled. "What kind of sick joke is Dracula trying to pull?" he growled at the boy.

The boy cocked his head. Father does not like jokes. He said.

With his patience running thin Fenris' hand snapped forward, fingers wrapping around the boy's throat. "Yeah well neither do I." he snarled dangerously. The temper that Weres were commonly known for starting to show.

The boy took the Weres hand that was around his throat and squeezed. He was strong enough to snap at least one bone, or shove one out of place.

Fenris snarled loudly when he felt a bone in his hand snap, his grip didn't loosen as his anger increased. Comillo was stirring from his dormant state and trying to push his way out of Fenris.

The boy went in a totally different direction and stared up at him, emanating innocence.

The human side of Fenris softened at the look on the boy while the Were side was still seeking blood. Fenris hand loosened a little but not much. "What do you want here?" he snarled.

I want my mummy. Said the little boy. Can't you see it, Fenris? Can't you feel it? Ana whispered. The boy turned lifeless eyes on her.

Fenris glanced at Ana when she spoke. His hatred faltered slightly. If he was being truthful to himself he would have admitted that he had caught Ana's scent mixed with the boy's scent. He didn't want to even think of the possibility though. He didn't want to think about what it meant.

The boy grinned at Fenris, pointed canines glinting.

Fenris' eyes took on a look that was a mix between guilt and misery. It was his fault this creature existed. If he had been the alpha he was supposed to be Ana never would have had to deal with any of this. "What are you doing here?" He asked the boy again.

The boy cocked his head to the side.I want a name. Name me please. He glanced around and pointed at Ana, then Fenris.She has a name. You have a name. I want a name.

Fenris' eyes widened slightly in surprise. "A name? Why doesn't your father give you one?" He asked.

He frowned.He calls me Rat. I don't know what he means.

Fenris glanced over at Ana, not sure what to do.

Ana looked back at him. He does what? She asked.

Fenris looked past the boy and inhaled deeply, checking for any other threats. His grip on the boy's throat tightened briefly as he jerked him in through the door and into the living room. He let go, but deliberately kept himself between the boy and Ana. "Does your father know you're here?" he asked.

The boy shook his head and rubbed slightly at the red marks that Fenris had left on his throat.
