Fenris flinched when he heard the door slam. He let out a low whine as he sat down outside the door. Laying down, he dropped his head down onto his paws and whimpered. He had never meant for this to happen. He knew he should have just told her.

Ashton made the mistake of moving his hand. He almost arched off the bed with the pain that followed.

Cuchilla felt the man's pain and lifted her head. She sat up and gently rested a hand on the side of his neck. It was as easy as switching a valve on to pour some of her energy into him to ease the pain.

Ashton flinched when he felt the hand on his neck, and then relaxed as the pain subsided.

Cuchilla waited until he relaxed again before pulling her hand back. The large Werewolf shook her head. "You are rather troublesome aren't you?" she muttered under her breath. She had heard Ana's shouts and one of the bedroom doors slam. It wasn't hard to guess what had happened.

Ashton breathed a faint chuckle.

Cuchilla grinned slightly. "I'll take that as a yes." she sighed.

The ghost of a grin showed on Ashtons face.

Ana sat on the floor of her bedroom, silently brooding. She finally got up and opened the door.

Cuchilla chuckled and leaned lightly against the bed.

Fenris jumped when the door opened beside him. He scrambled to his paws and backed away from the door with his head and tail lowered.

Ana walked straight past him and was about to go down the stairs. She hesitated, then turned and looked at the wolf. Why didn't you tell me?

Fenris let out a low whine and lowered his head even further, something that he would never do in front of his pack. 'I hoped that he would tell you himself.' he told her through his thoughts.

Ana rolled her eyes up to the sky. How long did you give him?

Fenris didn't move from his spot. 'I was only going to give him from the time I left the house to when I got back, but then Careta showed up and you disappeared. I was worried when you returned covered in the scent of Vampires and you said you had had a miscarriage. I couldn't even think straight at the time. I'm so sorry.' he told her, his words sounding miserable even through his thoughts.

Ana sighed. I'm sorry too. I realise a lot has been going on. All I've done is given you a hard time.

Fenris looked up sharply at Ana's words. He shook his head. 'You have no reason to be sorry. I should be able to handle all of this.' he told her quickly.

Ana shook her head. No, you shouldn't. I shouldn't leave all of this to you.

Fenris took a step toward Ana, Shifting as he did so. "Ana, I am an Alpha with an entire pack. I have to be able to handle much more than this. I've let my responsibilities and priorities go." he told her.

Ana stepped forward and hugged him. I don't expect that from anyone.

Fenris simply wrapped his arms tightly around Ana, burying his face in her hair.

Ana was lounging on the couch beside the window. She looked up when she heard a knock on the door.

Fenris had been sparing with his sister in one of the larger rooms they had changed into a training room when he picked up the sound of knocking. He paused and barely ducked fast enough to doge a punch from Careta.

Ana waited for a small while and after noticing that nobody was going to get it, she sighed and got up to get the door. She opened it slowly and looked at the boy that was standing there in confusion. He had pale white skin and dark eyes. Curly black hair covered his head. He stood and stared at her for what seemed like eternity. He then lifted his lips in an eerie smile that showed pointed fangs. Anas eyes widened with realisation and she screamed and shut the door, stumbling back to collapse on the couch.

Fenris heard Ana get the door and was going to go back to sparring but the sound of her scream sent him racing to her. He got there just as she collapsed on the couch. "Ana!" he shouted in worry. "What happened? Who was it?" he asked once he reached her side.
