Ana hurried to her room and lay on the bed again. She stared wide eyed at the ceiling. She couldnt believe herself. The only thing was that she felt... Light. Almost carefree. She felt happy for the first time in a while.

Fenris finally managed to scramble to his feet and stumble back to his room in a daze. He sat down heavily on the bed, his mind swirling. He eventually drifted into a light sleep after laying back to stare at the ceiling for a good hour or more.

He woke to the feeling of sunlight on his face. He sat up and stretched, yawning loudly. He blinked a few times before getting up to go check on Ana and Ashton.

Ana woke slowly. She blinked the blur out of her eyes before a smash downstairs caused her to sit up quickly. She flew downstairs to find Ashton smashing a cupboard. She pulled him away and began chiding him, while he stood and didnt seem to look ashamed at all.

Fenris was just walking out of his room when he heard the crash. He Shifted and bounded down the stairs, growling low in his throat. He skidded to a stop when he saw Ana and Ashton as well as the smashed cupboard. The large black wolf let out an angry snarl. It wasn't the fact that the cupboard was smashed that was making him angry, it was the fact that Ashton had destroyed something on his territory for no reason.

Ashton turned and his lip curled when he saw the wolf. He began to shudder and shake and Ana screamed and shouted Dont! before a tremendous ripping sound rang through the air and Ashton began to literally tear his skin away. He screamed himself before he exploded in a mass of fur and muscle. The thing standing in his place was a massive wolf cross monster. It had the head of a wolf with huge dripping fangs and a lolling tongue. The eyes were pupil less with black filling in the iris. Its paws were huge and tipped in black claws and his body was upright on huge muscled legs. The fur that covered him was mottled black and grey. The creature roared and the house shook.

Fenris growled and quickly started to circle Ashton. He wasn't going to be a sitting duck to a Hybrid. The stories he had heard were enough to make him wary. He had no intention of harming him unless it was absolutely necessary.

Ashton snarled at him and turned to run out the window. He loped across the land. Ana ran to the window as if she could catch him.He is running to his creater.She gasped.

Fenris Shifted back to his human form as he followed Ana to the window. "Then we can still catch him. I know exactly where the rogue lives, but you can only reach it in wolf form." he told Ana.

Ana concentrated on her worry and eventually the form of a wolf was standing in her place. She jumped lithely through the massive hole and stood, waiting for Fenris.

Fenris Shifted and leaped after her. He made a motion with his tail for Ana to follow him before he raced through the town. Where most people would have started shooting when wolves ran down the streets, the gangs and other criminals instead moved out of the middle of the road as fast as they could. The older residents knew not to mess with the wolves in the woods and the newer residents had heard rumors that if you injured a wolf a huge black wolf would make you regret it. Some of them called the wolf Death while others called him Diablo as well as many other names. Fenris led Ana out of town and into the forest. "There's a steep cliff face just up ahead. There is a small cabin at the top where the rogue lives." he told her.

Ana followed, her ears back as her claws dug into the ground. She was worrying about Ash and she could barely keep from rushing in front of Fenris. However, a strange feeling of respect made her stay behind him. She supposed it was a wolf thing.

Fenris quickly started to climb up the steep, rocky slope. He had to leap from boulder to boulder to avoid the smaller rocks that could send him sliding right back to the bottom of the cliff.

Ana nimbly followed him, thanking her heightened sense of balance and agility that was keeping her from falling.

Fenris was nearing the top when the smaller shelf of rock he jumped on nearly gave out. The rock started to slide down and he barely managed to leap for the next boulder before he was sent tumbling down the cliff. He caught a hold of the next rock with his front paws. He hung there for a moment before he finally was able to scramble up onto the boulder, panting.

Ana was looking down and concentrating on climbing when she heard a shower of rocks coming her way. She looked up in time to see some medium sized rocks bouncing towards her. She dodged nearly all of them, but a sharp one that crunched into her foot made her yelp.

Fenris spun around when he heard the rocks and then Ana's yelp, but was relieved when he saw that she was still right behind him. "Are you alright?" he asked her quietly.

Ill be fine, worry about it later.She mumbled through clenched teeth. Her foot felt broken but all she could think about was her brother.

Fenris hesitated but went ahead and finished the climb up the cliff. Once he reached the top he crouched down close to the ground and crawled to hide under the nearest bush.

Ana followed close behind and slipped in next to him. She held her foot off the ground.Is this it?She whispered.

Fenris nodded. "I need you to cover the back door in case he takes off." he told her quietly.

Ana nodded and crept quietly to the back door of the hut. She lay down and hid in the brush.

Fenris Shifted and walked up to the front of the cabin. He knocked on the door and waited for a moment. A curtain moved in one of the windows before the door was swung open and the muzzle of a shotgun was aimed at his chest. "Now that isn't a very nice way to welcome guests. Definitely when the guest is your cousin." Fenris said with a grin.

Ana had one ear pressed to the door. Her mouth fell open as she heard Fenris speak. She shuffled closer to try and get a better sound.

Fenris' cousin growled when he heard something towards his back door and lifted the gun's muzzle a little higher. "I know you aren't alone so why bother with hiding your little friend?" he asked with a growl. "Because you have a bad habit of running off little Rogue." Fenris snarled back in reply. "Ana come on around here." he finally called out.

Ana hesitated before Shifting and walking around to the front door. She stayed a little way behind Fenris as she cautiously approached.
