Careta pulled back and looked at the man worriedly. She had never seen someone like this before. She shoved her long white hair out of her face as she tried to think of what to do.

(Death or no death? Seriously I need a second opinion on this one)

Ashton suddenly seized up, his muscles contracting. His blood was fizzing inside him. His illness and the new Were blood cells were combining. It was not a good combination.

(uhhhh...no death? Maybe we can play it out to where Ashton and Careta are so focused on their hatred of relationships that they end up falling for eachother??? your opinion?)

Careta caught an odd smell in the air and glanced over at the pool of blood. She sniffed the air and wrinkled the nose. "Something is wrong with his blood." she mumbled.

(Seems a bit been there done that... )

(Ino ya. um.. maybe he can be immobilized for an indefinite amount of time?)

Ana looked over at his blood. I can hear it fizzing. She said, her eyes wide.

Careta looked up sharply at Ana. "Fizzing? That's what it's doing?" she asked in surprise. She had never seen anything like this.

Ana was shaking with the sobs that were tumbling out of her as easy as words. Ashton groaned and his hands started growing numb.

Fenris knelt down behind Ana and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, squeezing gently. Careta looked down at Ashton and let out a whine of confusion. "Do you know what's happening to him? Is it the Change affecting his blood?" she asked Ana and Fenris.

Anas eyes turned to Careta and her lips lifted from her teeth in a silent snarl.

Careta's eyes widened when Ana bared her teeth and she instinctively bared her own, a growl rumbling deep in her throat. Fenris' grip tightened on Ana's shoulders. "What is it?" he asked her softly.

Ana allowed a sharp snarl to escape from her throat. Can't you see? Can't you hear it? She spat.

Careta was about to snap back, but went silent at a look from Fenris. He turned to Ana and his grip softened but didn't loosen. "I'm sorry Ana. We've only had basic Healer training. This is beyond anything we know how to fix." he told her gently. Careta stayed quiet for a moment before an idea popped into her mind. "Maybe one of the Ancients might know what to do!" she exclaimed.

Ana looked at her. Ancients?

"The spirits that share our bodies. Since you were Changed you must have met Comillo." Careta told her as if it were obvious. "Comillo or Cuchilla may now something."

Ana was confused. I don't think I have. She said slowly. Ashton had balled his hands into fists, so tight that they started to turn a ghastly shade of white.

"Careta I can't simply Shift like that." Fenris whispered. Careta gave him a surprised look, but one look at Ashton kept the questions at bay. "One moment then." she sighed. She started to Shift, but it wasn't anything like her normal Shifting. Her body grew and jerked, fur growing from her skin. She let out a snarl and the next second she was a huge Werewolf only mentioned in Myths.

Ana looked up at the werewolf and looked quickly back down. Her hands lay for a moment on Ashtons chest.

The huge white Werewolf stretched and popped her neck loudly. "Ahh...it has been to long." she sighed blissfully, happy to be free for the time. She looked down at the two men and the woman and she shifted her massive weight so that she was leaning forward and over the man on the floor. She sniffed the air over him and growled. "Why was the Change not closely monitored on this man? His blood smells of disease. The Change is always difficult for someone with a sickness this powerful." Cuchilla asked sharply.

Ana looked at Ashton, her eyes concerned. He never warned me of any sickness. He never told anyone. If he had this wouldn't of happened. She whispered.

Fenris felt guilt fill him instantly at Ana's words. He knew he should have ignored Ashton and told her. If Ashton died he would never forgive himself. "Is there anything you can do?" he asked Cuchilla almost desperately. "The only thing that may save him would be to be Bitten again, to restart the Change. It will take far longer than the first Change, but it may be his only chance." the Werewolf told him.

Ana looked up quickly. Well, do it!

(Does this work? He gets Bitten again and has to stay secluded for a while?)

Cuchilla snarled at Ana, bristling at being commanded.
