Raven sent her a grateful look and turned to pad over and jump back onto the counter. She was tired of explaining why she could talk. She laid down purring as she watched the two humans.

Anthony went And put his arms around her.

Raven watched them silently her tail swaying back and forth in contentment only to nearly jump out of her fur when Logan let out a loud cry from his and Alexander's room. She jumped to her paws, startled, and didn't realize how close she was to the edge of the counter. She let out a yowl as her front paws slipped off and she barely managed to land upright on her paws. She stood there for a moment with her fur sticking up in shock and her eyes wide. Soon Alexander's crying joined with Logan's and it was obvious the boys were hungry.

Faye looked up and moved towards the boys room, grabbing a bottle on the way.

(Faye? )

Raven shook herself and quickly padded after Johanna, her fur prickling in embarrassment from her clumsy fall.

Johanna picked Logan up first and put the bottle in his mouth.

(Haha. Don't worry I'm right there with ya. )

Logan sucked strongly on the bottle, his whimpering slowly dying down as his belly filled. Alexander's crying slowly quieted when Logan became quieter. Raven jumped up onto her perch above the boys' cribs. "They sure have large sets of lungs don't they?" she purred, amused yet slightly annoyed. Her ears still rang from their crying.

She put him down and started on Alex.All babies seem to.

Alexander drank just as strongly, but took his time unlike his brother who lay mumbling tiredly in his crib. "My kittens were the same..." she whispered, a haunted look crossing her eyes before disappearing a moment later. "At least they are healthy. Rosetta and Sweeney must be very proud." she purred as she watched the twins.

She looked up.Kittens?

"It's nothing. Just the past." Raven told her, waving her tail dismissively. "Have you told your father that you are expecting?" she asked quietly, changing the subject slightly.

She looked at her.No. I don't plan to. I forgot you listen to everything we say.

"Why not? You know he'll find out eventually." Raven asked her. "It's one of the benefits of being a cat. You learn a lot of things when no one thinks you can understand them."

She shook her head.you don't know my father.

"I think I know him a little." Raven sighed. "You think he'll be extremely angry don't you?" she guessed.

"That much is obvious." Raven muttered. "You do know that he'll be even angrier the longer you keep it a secret from him right?" she asked.

Which is why I won't be around when I start to get bigger.She reasoned.

"What? You aren't leaving are you?" Raven asked, startled. Her fur sticking up in surprise.

She tried to smile.[b]Not yet.

"Do you know what you disappearance will do to Rosetta and Sweeney? Sweeney's anger will be nothing compared to the heartbreak they both will have to endure." Raven exclaimed. "Is Anthony going with you?" she asked.

"Are you seriously going to leave just because you don't want to face your father?" Raven asked. "You are going to give up a home just to hide like a coward?" she asked, angry. She knew she shouldn't be angry with the young woman, but she couldn't help it. She was going to miss them both if they left.

She nodded.[b]If having a husband is being a coward, I am fully prepared.

"Do you truly believe Sweeney would do something to Anthony with Rosetta here?" Raven asked, almost desperate to keep her from leaving. She had said far to many goodbyes to those she cared about and she had just started speaking with her.
