He shook his head. It was throbbing with a slow, steady beat.I think I stabbed it...He looked down at his razor, still clutched in his fingers, and found it dripping with the cats blood.I guess I did.He muttered.

Anthony quickly ran to the other side of the room. He had never seen such a big cat.

Rosetta slowly reached forward and grabbed the razor from his hand. She gently pulled it away from him and set it on the ground. "Do you know where it came from?" she asked, her tears finally stopping.

Raven turned her sleek black head to look up at Anthony. Her bright green eyes filled with pure agony. She looked around and let out another weak mewl almost like a kitten as she looked for Johanna.

Sweeney gasped as he remembered who the panther was.It's Raven. It's your cat.

Johanna ran up to the cat and sank to her knees, taking the panthers head onto her lap.

"Raven?! What? How?" Rosetta asked alarmed and confused, glancing back at the door.

Despite the pain coursing through her chest Raven purred softly when Johanna placed her head in her lap. Her chest wound had halfway closed, but the blood was still flowing to heavily for the rest to heal completely. She let out another mewl of pain. Her huge paws flexing and the sharp claws sliding out as her tail twitched.

He struggled to get up.I don't know, it just is!

Johanna desperately looked around for something to close the wound. Finally, she pulled a needle and some thread from her pocket.Hold still.

Rosetta's eyes widened, but she helped him up.

Raven eyes followed the needle warily. She let out another mewl as the muscles in her chest clenched, her claws digging into the floor.

Sweeney stood and leaned against the wall.Go check on her.

Faye winced as she pulled the needle in and out of the thick panther skin.

Rosetta looked back at Sweeney, afraid to leave him alone. She finally, reluctantly left the room. She froze in shock to see Johanna sewing the large wound in the panther's chest. She gasped as Raven's lips pulled back in a grimace of pain, flashing her long white fangs. A low sound, a mix between a pained mewl and a growl, came from the huge cat's mouth.

Johanna looked up and gasped when she saw her mother.

Rosetta looked at her daughter before moving forward and dropping to her knees beside her and the huge cat. She reached out to gently stoke the panther's head. "Raven?" she whispered, glancing from Johanna to the black cat. Raven purred softly, green eyes flashing.

Johanna kept on stroking the cat, whispering soothing words in it's ear.

Raven shifted her weight a little and groaned in pain as the stitches in her chest pulled at her tender skin.

Rosetta looked up at Johanna. "How is this even possible?" she asked her daughter.

Logan and Alexander started whimpering and squirming at the same time the white puppy that was still in the basket started to whimper.

Johanna soothed the panther. She looked at her mother.It just is. She's your cat, mom. I think you should comfort her.

Rosetta nodded slightly and reached forward to slowly stroke Raven's face. "I am no one's cat, but I appreciate the comfort." The cat purred and pressed her head into the woman's hand. Rosetta froze for a moment before the twins crying broke her out of her surprise. "Can you go check on the boys?" she asked Johanna numbly as she continued to stroke the panther's sleek fur.

The little white puppy lifted his head up over the basket and looked around at what was happening around him. He wasn't very strong after his incident with the bigger dog, but he managed to scramble out of the basket. He saw the huge black animal laying on the ground and the people around it. He crawled over to it unnoticed and slowly approached it's large head from behind one of the humans (Johanna). He bravely padded up and even when Raven finally noticed him and bared her sharp teeth he moved forward and licked her nose, surprising her.

Johanna got up slowly and went over to ghetto twins to see what was wrong.

As Rosetta stroked the panther she smiled as she saw the puppy like the huge cat's nose. Suddenly she gasped as Raven started to move. The cat struggled to her paws and stretched. She bent her head and started licking the chest wound before she started pulling out the stitches. Rosetta reached forward to stop her, but pulled back when Raven growled at her. The little puppy let out a sharp yip when the cat growled and darted away when the panther whipped her tail around towards him. He let out a little whine and his ears perked up when he heard the sound of the twins whimpering. The white puppy darted over to Johanna and hid behind her legs. The twins were whimpering. Logan was hungry again and Alexander was tired and cranky because of all of the noise.

Johanna sighed and went to heat up a bottle for Logan.

The little white puppy followed Johanna.

Johanna stood in the kitchen. Sweeney stood in the doorway, watching her. When he saw how much slower she moved, hate foe Anthony began to well up in his heart. He smiled and walked into the room where they all were. There was a murderous look in his eye that only somebody very close to him could recognize.

Rosetta looked up as Sweeney entered the room and the moment she saw the look in his eyes she froze. "Please no..." she whispered. She scrambled to her feet and raced forward, wrapping her arms around Sweeney's waist and burying her head in his chest. "Please...don't do this...for me...please..." she whispered looking up at him, her green eyes terrified.

Sweeney started untangling himself from her arms. Anthony backed up to the wall.

Rosetta tried to keep her grip on Sweeney. She couldn't understand why he would be acting like this.

Raven saw Sweeney heading towards Anthony and hissed. She stumbled over to stand in front of Anthony. Her chest had healed quickly once the blood had stopped flowing, but it still hurt. She looked up at the advancing man as Rosetta tried to stop him and let out a fierce snarl.

Sweeney stopped and growled at Anthony.You brat! Anthony apologized over and over.

Rosetta looked up at Sweeney and then at Anthony, sudden realization hit her. He must know about Johanna... she thought.

Raven snarled when Sweeney growled and moved closer to Anthony, her claws coming unsheathed.

Sweeney whirled on Rosetta.What do you know about this? What have you hidden from me?
