Rosetta had been close to falling asleep when she heard Sweeney coming back up the stairs. She moved to sit up, but after a little discomfort in her stomach she laid back down.

Sweeney walked to her and put it beside her bed.

Rosetta smiled up at Sweeney and reached for the tea. She took a sip and sighed happily. Her taste in tea hadn't changed when she became pregnant unlike everything else. "Thank you." she told him, her green eyes happy.

He kissed her on the forehead one more time before he disappeared through the door.

Rosetta's smile faded as Sweeney left. She was hoping she could make it up to him for making him angry the day before, but instead she was stuck in bed all day. She sighed and sat the tea on the night stand before pulling the blankets up and over her. She figured she could get a little sleep.

He walked down the street quickly and purposefully.

Rosetta slowly drifted off to sleep.

He came to an old house, looked around and let himself in.

A small black cat jumped onto the windowsil outside of Rosetta's room and let out a loud meow, rousing the woman from her sleep. Rosetta sat straight up like someone had shocked her. She scrambled off of the bed and ran to the window, throwing it open, ignoring the pain the sudden movement caused her. "Raven!" she exclaimed as the cat leaped up into her arms, purring.

He stood by the window, facing the man. He was largely built, stocky and well - clothed.

Rosetta went and sat on the bed. The cat sat in her lap and looked up at her, purring happily. "How did you even find me you silly cat?" Rosetta asked, grinning. She rubbed behind the cat's ears and petted her old friend. She had found Raven as a kitten shortly after she had run away and where ever Rosetta went, Raven had followed. They had been seperated for a little over a year.

Sweeney sat opposite of him.An addiction hm?
The man murmered.

Rosetta laid back on the bed and continued to stoke Raven's fur as the cat curled up on her chest. "You'll have to wait a little while to eat. Maybe if you're nice Johanna will get you something when she gets home. I'm not supposed to get out of bed." she told the cat.

A little while later Sweeney stormed out. The whole room was painted in blood. He stopped, looked back and screamed a curse.

Rosetta had drifted off to the sound and feel of Raven laying and purring on her chest.

Sweeney sat down on an old bench, still cursing. He was a monster.

Raven carefully jumped down from her spot on Rosetta's chest and started sniffing around the room. For a cat, she had the nose of a bloodhound. She caught Sweeney's scent since it was the second strongest in the room and started following it. She found an open window and jumped out before following his trail again. She padded down the street, saw a man sitting on a bench, and moved over to him. From his scent she could tell he was the man that lived with Rosetta. She jumped up on the bench and sat next to him, watching him with oddly intellegent eyes.

Sweeney looked at the cat.Nobody to look after you in this town, cat.He muttered.

Raven tilted her head, her ears twitching slightly. She meowed softly as if to say it wasn't true. She moved forward and laid down next to Sweeney, pressing her side against his hip and purring. She didn't trust many people, but since the man's scent was just as stong as Rosetta's in the house she figured that meant Rosetta trusted him. If she trusted him so did the cat.

Sweeney started to lean away, but stopped at the feel of the cat purring. Lucy had had a Persian, whom he deeply loved. What was his name? Sweeney smiled slightly at the memory and began absentmindedly stroking the care.

Raven purred even louder as Sweeney stroked her fur. She streched out on the bench seat next to him and flexed her paws, content to just lay there.

Rosetta was sitting down on the living room couch when a sharp pain suddenly flashed across her stomach. She tried to ignore it until another one made her cry out. She rubbed her swollen belly, trying to sooth the baby inside thinking he was just kicking, but it had never hurt that bad. "Sweeney?" she called out, starting to panic.
