Sweeney walked in, drying a plate.Everything okay?

Rosetta looked up at Sweeney with wide, frightened eyes. "Sweeney, something's wrong." she told him, gritting her teeth as another pain flashed across her stomach.

Sweeney dropped to her level and grabbed her shoulder softly.Rosetta?

Rosetta cried out again as the pain increased, clutching her stomach. "I-it's the baby..." she whispered, clearly becoming terrified.

His reaction was immediate. He raced to the phone and dialed the doctors number.Come on... come on..He muttered.

Raven heard Sweeney rush to the phone and jumped off of her spot on the window's ledge in Johanna's room. She padded into the living room and jumped onto the back of the couch. Rosetta was breathing heavily and rubbing her stomach, trying to ease the pain. The cat jumped down next to her and pressed against her side. Raven started purring, trying to comfort her.

He slammed the phone down and ran out the door, stopping to kiss Rosetta first. He ran to the doctors and burst inside, frantic.

The doctor was just finishing up with a patient when Sweeney burst through the door. "Oh. Mr. Todd? What can I do for you?" he asked. After helping Rosetta the man had been over to check on her almost every month since then.

The baby's coming.He said it calmly but he was hyper and skittish and couldn't stand still.

The doctor didn't even hesitate. He grabbed his bag, informed the nurse that she was in charge until he returned, and headed out of the door and down the street.

Sweeney ran just ahead and opened the door, running to Rosetta as fast as he could. He crouched down and pushed her hair back.

The doctor followed right after Sweeney. Rosetta was still sitting on the couch, trying to breath through the pain of her contractions. She managed a small smile when Sweeney pushed her hair out of her now sweaty face. She groaned as another contraction hit her and her hands clenched tightly from the pain. The doctor was immediately at her side. "We need to get her to a bed so that it will be easier and more comfortable. Is your daughter here?" he asked Sweeney.

He shook his head.She's with a friend.He was squeezing her hand tightly.

Rosetta held Sweeney's hand tightly, trying to breath through another contraction. The doctor nodded. "We need to get her to a bed and then I'll need two buckets of warm water, towels, washclothes, and a damp rag." he told Sweeney.

Sweeney gently picked her up and laid her on their own bed, which was made. He then left and collected the items that he had been told to before coming back.

The doctor quickly got to work on arranging everything. He placed the damp rag over Rosetta's forehead before turning to Sweeney. "It may be better if you wait outside. If your daughter comes home you can tell her what's going on." he advised.

He faltered for a second before nodding. He kissed Rosetta and went outside.

Rosetta barely noticed when Sweeney left the room. She was to focused on breathing and trying to relieve the pain. The doctor was at her side the moment the door closed. It was going to be a very long day for all of them.

Sweeney waited outside, anxiously tapping his feet on the ground and muttering old songs under his breath. Johanna came in.

Rosetta let out a muffled scream as it finally came time for her to push. She had never expected there to be so much pain.

(Sure)

Sweeney heard the scream and could barely stay outside. He wanted to go to her.

Rosetta cried out again when the doctor told her to push again. About a half hour later a high pitched wailing was heard.

(Boys!)

Sweeney froze when he heard the wailing. He had forgotten what this felt like, since Lucy.

(any ideas on names?)

The doctor was cleaning up the infant when suddenly Rosetta cried out from another conctraction. The doctor laid the little baby down and in less than half an hour there were two new infants in the world. He handed both of them to Rosetta and pulled a clean blanket up over her. He cleaned everything up before walking to the door. He opened it and smiled at Sweeney. "Congradulations on two, healthy baby boys." he told him.

Sweeney stepped forward, his eyes wide.
