She put her arm around his shoulder and sat up. She closed her eyes and the dizziness subsided. The drug had been frozen for a very short while. She pulled back gently.He said he'd come back tonight.

China held his face between her hands.Not your fault.

Silva growled and shook his head at her words. "That monster isn't coming anywhere near you." he told her. He got into a crouch and pulled Faye into his arms, holding her as he stood. Without a word he carried her back to the house. He placed her on the couch in the living room. "Don't move around much. I don't know how long the drug will stay frozen." he told Faye. He kneeled down next to her and whispered another spell. His eyes flashed silver and his tattoos glowed through his black gloves, the same gloves he had worn since Faye was born to hide his spellcastor tattoos. He let his hands hover just above Faye's body, pulling information from the venom with his magic.

Rome sighed and had to fight back tears. "If I had never been born she wouldn't have died." he whispered.

She gasped and her eyes widened when she saw the tattoos. She closed her eyes and lay back, keeping one hand on his arm for comfort.
The drug was a natural drug, made in the saliva of vampires. It contained many intoxicating chemicals and was extremely addictive, causing death in some cases where the Infected could not live without it. The poison in it was slight but caused many health defects such as anorexia and anemia. It caused majorly realistic dreams and the Infected needed it every few hours to sustain themselves. The only solution so far found to stop the drug was to cut a strange symbol into the chest of the Infected and literally let the drug bleed out, which was also a big risk.

It's not your fault that you were born.She leaned her head in time his shoulder, not caring if he moved away.

Silva sat back on his heels, his tattoos dimming. He was thinking over the information his magic had given him. He took Faye's hand that was resting on his arm and looked down at her. "I think I have an idea, but it will be risky." he told her quietly.

Rome wrapped his arms around China and buried his face in her hair. "I will do anything it takes to get rid of your pain." he whispered.

Her face was completely serious as she gazed at him.Name it.

She sighed.I won't let you die.

"There is a symbol that needs to be cut into the skin to allow the drug to bleed out. I can use magic to pull only the blood that has been drugged, but there is no teeling how much was infected." Silva explained, wincing at the thought of hurting Faye at all.

Rome pulled away from China a little so he could look at her. "How about we worry about that when it comes to it? I don't even know where my father is." he told her quietly.

She swallowed but nodded. She trusted Silva with anything.Okay, I'll do it. I trust you. But hurry, because I'm getting dizzy again.She muttered the last few words.

She hesitated.Um... I do. They had been together when his father was younger.

Silva nodded and pulled out a small pocket knife. He cast a spell to numb Faye's pain before he started to cut into her side. He made the symbol small and once he was done he set the knife on the ground and started a spell. He held his hands above the symbol and his tattoos glowed brightly. Blood started to flow from the cut. It drifted in the air towards his hand and started to shape into a ball, growing larger with the more tainted blood that added to it.

Rome looked at China, confused. "What?" he asked.

She threw one arm over her forehead and closed her eyes, her breath rapid.

China shifted, uncomfortable.I can track him.

After Silva had collected all of the blood he quickly sealed the cuts and disposed of most of the blood. He kept a small vile of it just in case he needed it. He moved over to Faye's side and placed his hand over the symbol in her skin and muttered a spell that got rid of most of the scars. He reached up and brushed her hair out of her face. "Faye? Are you alright?" he asked worriedly.

"How?" Rome asked.

She opened her eyes and jumped slightly, when She saw Silva. She sat up.Is it over? You did it?

She shrugged.I just can.She lied. She didn't want Rome to know that her and his father used to be an item, many, many years back.

(I think this is turning into a bad soap opera a mythical one at that)

"I think I've gotten all of it." Silva told her, a tired smile on his face. He suddenly frowned and turned serious. "Can you tell me everything that happened?" he asked.

Rome looked at China for a moment, his red eyes confused. He knew she was keeping something from him, but he wasn't going to push it. "Should we go after him now?" he asked.

(Ha I know pretty impressive how long we've done it like 50 pages!! And still going strong :-D)

She frowned at him, confused.What do you mean?

She faltered.[b]Will Silva and Faye be all right?

(haha it just shows how awesome we are )

"About when Keltoh attacked you in the tree." Silva explained.

Rome looked back in the direction of the ranch house. "Do you want to go check on them?" he asked.

(The awesomest)

She winced at the memory.I was in a tree, and he attacked me and told me he loved me and kissed me. I got dizzy and he said hed be back and then I fell.

She nodded and stood up.

Silva couldn't help the growl that burst from his mouth at the thought of Keltoh kissing Faye. He stood up and started pacing. Thinking of a plan to catch Keltoh. "He won't come near you again." he snarled. He suddenly froze as he heard growling outside the door. The moment he recognized the aggresive sound he opened the door. Thistle leapt through the door snarling, her hackles raised and her teeth bared.

Rome suddenly wrapped his arms around China and squeezed her against his chest. "I'm sorry. This is all my fault." he whispered before letting her go and heading back in the direction of the house.

She jumped up when she heard the growl and her whole body tensed. When she saw the wolf she sat down again, knowing full well that Silva could understand her and she couldn't.

Keltoh lurked just around the building of the ranch. He was back for his sweetheart. He smiled at himself when he realized that Rome would probably kill him. Yeah, sure, that was going to happen. Rome was not that strong.

China moved up beside Rome and wound her arm through his own.

Silva and Thistle looked at each other for a moment before the black wolf relaxed slightly and moved to Faye's side. She had seen her master's thoughts and had instantly felt Silva's protectiveness of the girl. She laid down at Faye's feet, but she didn't relax. Her body stayed stiff and her ears and nose twitched.

She shuffled in her seat.Silva? I've been wondering... if half of me is vampire, then what is the other half?She asked. China and Rome had not told her that she was part spell caster.

(Hey I had and idea that Keltoh could mess up Rome's life by slipping a potion into China's drink to send her back to when she was human, and then he sends Rome back as he is so that he'll know her but she won't know him and Faye and Silva are left alone in the present.)

Silva looked at Faye and then glanced away at her question. It wasn't his place to tell the girl her heritage.

Thistle looked up curiously at the girl, her head tilted to the side. She had been living in the woods since Faye was born, and she was surprised that the girl didn't know about her own bloodline. She looked from Faye to Silva, wondering if he would tell her.

(I like the idea about Keltoh messing up Rome's life, but I'm seriously confused. sorry. oh...just a suggestion. What if Keltoh captured both Rome and China and kept them as prisoners at his castle thing. just a suggestion.)

Faye got up and walked to Silva, her soft grip finding his forearm. What is it? What did they tell you? Why didn't they tell me?

(Well what I mean is that... how I explain better... okay Keltoh sends China back to her past, back all the way until she is human. And then he sends Rome back as well, but he sends Rome the way he is, so he'll remember China, but she won't recognize him, and he'll be stuck in a different time with nobody to help him. And then that leaves Faye And Silva And thistle as they are, alone in the present.

On the other hand I like your idea too, maybe he could drug them and when they wake up they're in his house with no idea what's going on... and then China recognizes the place...

So I'm cool with either... you can choose :-D)

Silva looked at Faye and grimaced. "What have they told you? Do you know what your mother is? Do you know what your father is?" he asked.

(Should we have it to where Keltoh captures them and takes them to his home and then he sends them back to the past? Will they ever make it back to the present?)

She faltered a little.I know what my mom is.. but what about my dad? What... he's not human?

(Yeah, sounds good. Maybe we should play around with it for a little and then decide if they come back to the present.)

Silva growled and ran a hand through his long hair. "I can't believe him..." he muttered angrily. "Your father has never been human." he told Faye.

Thistle looked curiously from Silva to Faye. She padded over the stand near them, amused, wondering how everything was going to play out.

Her Brow furrowed.He... he lied to me?Her eyes filled with sudden tears. She had never been lied to.

Keltoh was in Rome and China's room, with a mask on, spraying a sleeping drug into the air.
