Silva held one hand against the back of her neck, holding her against him. His broken arm held at his side. He kissed her lightly at first before he deepened the kiss.

Rome's eyes finally lifted to look at China when she touched him. They were filled with self loathing. "I'm causing you pain." his voice was barely a whisper.

She drew her hand back.I chose it, Rome. You listened to me, my instruction, because you trusted me. It's not your fault in the slightest.

The panther was on his paws in an instant, pacing back and forth in front of China. "I've promised to protect you and now I'm the one causing you the worst pain." he growled, his voice mixing with the panther's.

Rome froze in his pacing. "Is there anyway to fix it?" he asked, voice suddenly deseperate.

She shrugged.I don't know.

(Are you gonna reply with Faye?)

Rome started up his pacing again, trying to think of any spells in his old book that might help.

She sat and watched him, upset that She had caused him this stress.

Faye gasped softly and she returned the kiss, her arms tightening around Silva's neck.

Rome sat down on the ground with a growl. He had gone over every spell in his mind and not a single one would work. He suddenly snarled and his eyes widened as the only solution popped into his thoughts. His paws flexed, his claws digging into the dirt and his tail lashed back and forth.

Silva parted the kiss only for a moment for air before he started kissing along her jaw and then back to her lips. His arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her against him.

She went over to him.What? What is it?

She started making small, satisfied mewling noises. She put her hands on his upper arms when he kissed her jaw, and then kept them there. Her pulse was loud in her own ears.

Rome changed back to his human form and sat on the ground with his head in his hands. "For the past few years since I found out what I truly am Silva has been explaining the world of spellcastors to me. He's told me nearly everything he knows, including what he knows about my father." he told her, his voice slightly muffled by his hands. He finally looked up at China, his red eyes looked miserable. "He's the only one I can think of who can help you." he told her.

China's eyes went wide and the pupils dilated until there was no color around the black.He tried to kill me. Remember? The knife? How is there any possible way he would help me? She did not mention that the reason he had tried to kill her was because she had killed his second wife. She grimaced and shook her head and then she froze. Her eyes went even wider. How did Rome's mother die?

Silva's lips left Faye's to trail across her jaw and then down to her neck. He kissed every inch of skin he could find. He winced slightly when she gripped his broken arm, but his lips didn't leave her as they moved back up to her lips.

"The first time we met was during one of his attempts of getting rid of me and he wasn't even trying then." Rome sighed, remembering the poison in his drink at Love Handle. He groaned and dropped his head back in his hands. "The only way I can think of him helping is if he gets his life long wish." he muttered.

She shivered from the feeling of Silva's lips on her skin, leaving her flesh tingling. She put one hand on his collarbone.

China looked at him.What is that?

Silva's ruined braid fell over his shoulder as he moved his hand up Faye's back. He buried his fingers in her black hair where it rested against her back. He had always loved Faye, but he didn't know how he loved her. Now he did. He poured all of his affection for the girl into his kiss.

"My death." Rome said simply.

Her back arched slightly when he moved his hand up her spine. She pulled back and nestled her mouth in the hollow at the base of his throat and then traced her lips back up to his mouth, kissing him on the lips again.

China snarled.Don't even think about it.

Silva flinched when he felt her lips at the base of his throat, and suddenly pulled away when she kissed him again. He sat down on the edge of the bed and dropped his head in his hands, breathing heavily. Faye's lips at his throat had reminded him of his more reckless missions with the Hunters where he had come very close to the same fate his wife had. He suddenly felt as if he was betraying his wife even though she had been dead for years and would have wanted him to be happy. His shoulders shook as he took a shuddering breath, suddenly fighting back old memories.

Rome looked up at China his eyes suddenly hard. "You made a sacrifice when you had our daughter. Now I get to make mine." he told her. He didn't care if he was being reasonable or not.

She felt him pull away and opened her eyes. She took a step backk so that she was in the doorway.You're right... Rome and China aren't going to like this. S-sorry...She thought that Silva was pulling back because he was afraid of losing her parents' trust. She held back a sob, turned, and ran to the tree she had always loved. She pulled herself up in the branches.

I used to think I was still in love with China. I was wrong. I'm in love with you.Keltohs voice came behind her. She jumped and turned on the bough. He held her where she was. Don't worry, sweetheart. This won't hurt a bit.He held her face between an iron grip and pressed his lips to hers. The whole time he had been working up a venom in his saliva. The venom was, to put it simply, a drug. A drug more addictive than heroine and more dangerous than nicotine. Faye relaxed and her eyes rolled up in her head. He pulled back and smiled at her, somewhat wickedly.I'll be back to give you more tonight. He disappeared. She wavered and fell from the branch on to the ground. The drug had left her head spinning and she wanted to throw up. But it also left her whole body tingling and her stomach screaming for more. She hit the ground on her side and lay there for a while, not injured at all but too dizzy to get up.

You.. you can't just.. kill yourself! I'll die... I can't live without you ! I've lived without a father before... it's ..not fun! She spluttered, barely able to get the words out.

Silva was about to go after Faye, but he sat in his room for a few minutes to get a hold on his emotions. He couldn't explain his reaction to Faye. He wasn't going to risk having her hate him for what he had done in his past. He stood shakily and walked out of the house, heading for Faye's favorite spot. He always knew where he could find the girl. He was brought out of his thoughts when he saw her lying on the ground. "Faye!" he shouted rushing to her side. He fell to his knees beside her and gently lifted her into his arms. His first thought was that she had fallen out of the tree, but she had never done that before. The girl had her mother's grace. "Faye? Faye, can you hear me? Are you alright?" he asked franticaly.

Rome shook his head. "I wouldn't be killing myself, my father would." he muttered under his breath. He looked at China and his eyes softened. "I can't think of any other way and
I can't live with myself if I'm the one causing you this pain." he told her, standing up.

Faye felt hands on her and groaned.More... need... more...She mumbled. She hands were shaking and her eyes were unfocused. She needed something to shock her into reality.

China grabbed him by his shoulders.Is there any other way he would help you?

"More?" Silva muttered, confused. He gripped Faye by the shoulders and shook her trying to get her attention. "Faye, please. What happened?" he asked, his voice desperate.

Rome wouldn't meet China's eyes. "No. He blames me for my mother's death." he whispered.

She shook her head and managed to gain some level.That guy! That guy who attacked me... in the tree... kissed me... dizzy... I fell. Think I've been drugged.Her face twisted in pain.Need more.

How could it possibly be your fault?

Silva's eyes widened briefly, before norrowing angrily. "Keltoh." he growled. He suddenly murmured a quick spell and pressed his lips to Faye's, a large portion of his strength flowed through the kiss. He was hoping it would let the girl fight the poison for at least a little while, until he could find out how to counteract it. Ever since Rome's father had started using poison to try and kill Rome, he had started learning how to detect poisons and also how to get rid of them.

"My mother died shortly after giving birth to me. The day I was born was the day she died." Rome explained, his voice becoming pained.
