Lucahs eyes focused. He was alive? He took a deep breath in and sat up slowly. He looked around and noticed Rome sitting there. He peered at him. Through the slight haze he suddenly saw his attacker walking silently up behind Rome. Keltoh. Keltoh was reaching out to grab Rome when Lucah pointed at him and croaked Look out.

China woke up. She sighed and threw an arm over her face. Her stomach was bothering her. She uncovered it to see that it was now stretched as big as it could possibly get. She carefully shifted herself into a sitting position. A sudden, hot pain made her nearly cry out. Before She could recover, another burst of pain racked her entire body. She made an irritated noise and folded her arms. She wasn't going to do this without Rome. She had to hold back a gasp as unbelievable pressure started on her abdomen. All the stress of today had thrown her into labour.

Rome watched Lucah sit up and stopped the spell. He sighed in relief when the agonizing pain stopped. He whipped his head around when he heard Lucah. He cast the quick spell and a snarling panther stood in his place. His tail lashed violently as he snarled at Keltoh, his exhaustion vanishing.

Silva climbed the stairs and knocked on the door to the master bedroom. He wasn't sure if China had woken up or not and he had come up to check on her.

China didn't hear it. She was too busy trying to get her breathing under control. Ayra dashed up the stairs. She threw herself in front of the door and growled at Silva. The pain subsided, and then a bone shattering pain started up, China nearly fainted, and then the pressure suddenly stopped. China looked down and let a long breath out. She got up and whizzed around the room, cleaning and stitching the taps on in the bathtub. She then walked over to the bed and picked her daughter up. She blurred around the room again, pulling out towels and blankets, and brought her to the bathtub, which was now slightly full. She sat the baby down in the tub, putting a supporting arm around her tiny back and began washing her, kneeling down beside the bath. Ayra stepped out of the way and inclined her head towards the door. China used the air around her to clothe her now again slim frame in a white angel strapless dress with a golden hemline. Her hair was up in a loose bun, strands framing her face as she bent over her daughter.

"What the-?! How did you get in here?" Silva shouted, falling backwards on his butt. He slowly stood up when Ayra stepped out of the way and cautiously moved towards the door. He knocked on the door, keeping his eyes on the tiger. "China? Are you alright?" he called through the door.

Rome paused and his eyes narrowed suspiciously. "What do you mean? How are you helping me?" he asked, his voice coming from the panther's mouth.

China had the child out of the bath and dry in a matter of seconds before she wrapped her loosely in a white blanket.I need Rome.She swung the door open, the baby in the crook of her arm.Now.

(I wonder, should we make Silva know immediatly whether he loves their daughter or should I do a time skip at a quiet moment to when she's eighteen?)

Keltoh moves closer, cautiously avoiding Lucah's peircing glare.I don't know this guy. I was defending myself. I'm helping you because I smelled China in here, in pain. Where is she?Keltoh didn't look good. His hair was shaggy and his eyes were black-ringed and slightly puffy.

Rome let out a feral snarl when Keltoh moved closer, warning him to stay back. "China is fine." he growled, his voice a mix between human and panther. "If you do not know this man then how did you find his home? Why did you nearly kill him instead of leaving his property?" he asked.

Silva stared in stunned disbelieve at the infant in China's arms. The only words he could think of were...beautiful. He shook his head and looked up at China, her words finally reaching his ears. "He's gone at the moment. He should be back by the time the sun sets. Is there anything I can do?" he asked her, motioning towards the baby.

She shook her head. She didn't know if she trusted him with her, because she didn't know how he felt about her.Just go back to what you were doing.The baby studied him with dark blue eyes. Thick black hair was already growing on her tiny head. She suddenly reached out to Silva, her little fingers brushing his arm. China suddenly realized how tired she was. What with all the sleeping she'd been doing, you'd think she wouldn't be. The little girl reached out to Silva again, already graceful and elegant even when being held.

Keltoh turned his head.China... she's in pain again. Excruciating pain.He looked at Rome.I can't see were she is.Lucah looked at Rome, his eyes wide.Rome, go home. China needs you. I'll take care of that thing for now.He muttered something and the house shook, pinning Keltoh to the floor with a grandfather clock.

Silva felt the infant's fingers touch his arm and the spellcastor seemed to melt at the touch. He smiled softly down at the baby. He watched as she reached out to him and he had to push back the urge to take her into his own arms. "Are you sure?" he asked China, glancing up at her briefly.

She sighed. He didn't seem to hate her.Here, I need to sleep.She held out the child to Silva. The baby had one of his fingers in her tiny grip. She gave a little baby smile to Silva, revealing a perfect set of white teeth.

Rome jumped back in surprise when the house shook. He looked from Keltoh pinned on the floor to Lucah. He changed back to his human form. "Are you sure you can handle him?" he asked.

Silva looked up at China in shock before carefully taking the baby into his arms. He held her as if he were afraid he would break her. When he saw the little girl smile at him he felt his own smile grow. "What is her name?" he asked China.

Lucah nodded quickly.Yes, hurry!

China smiled.Faye.The little baby reached up and touched Silva's face, her touch gentle and controlled. China turned and went to sit down in the rocking chair.

"Faye..." Silva murmured gently as he turned his head to lightly kiss Faye's small hand. "I'll be down stairs. If you need anything just yell." he told China before going down to the first floor and sitting down in one of the recliners in the huge living room. He carefully cradled Faye in his arms.

Rome gave a quick nod before muttering the transportation spell. The next moment he found himself in the master bedroom of the large ranch house. He was covered in blood from where he had kneeled down beside Lucah.

China was fast asleep on the rockingchair. Faye fell asleep in Silva's arms. Both woman and child were exhausted.

Rome spotted China almost instantly. His eyes widened in shock as he took in her slim body. He crossed the room in seconds and grabbed China's shoulder gently. "China?" he whispered quietly.

Silva smiled down at Faye. She seemed so breakable and delicate in his arms.

China woke up instantly.Silva? Is she OK? Is she... She saw that it was Rome and slipped her arms around his neck, hugging him before she sank back down into the chair, completely drained.

Faye dreamed. Only pictures came to her dreams, but she saw China's face and Silva's face. She felt love for both. In her sleep she yawned and her tiny hand wrapped around one of Silva's fingers.

Rome knelt down in front of China and held her hands in his."Are you alright?" he asked. "Our daughter...? Is she...?" he couldn't finish either of his questions. His eyes looked up into China's worriedly.

Silva watched Faye sleep for a while before he stood up and picked up a quilt off of the couch. He went back and sat down. He gently wrapped the little girl in the blanket, being careful not to wake her up.

China stifled a yawn.She's fine. We both are. Silva has her downstairs.China smiled tiredly.

Faye snuggled into the blanket, making soft baby noises.

Rome smiled in relief. He suddenly lifted China up out of the chair and carried her over to the bed. He gently placed her under the covers and kissed her forehead. "What happened to those four more days? I take it our little girl couldn't wait to get out and cause trouble?" he asked, with a small grin.

Silva leaned back in the recliner, resting his head back. He kept Faye held gently in his lap as he closed his eyes. He slowly slipped off into sleep.

She smiled.Stress. I guess she's just to soft. She sighed and stroked her hand down Rome's arm.I missed you.

Rome sat down beside her and pushed her hair away from her face. "I missed you too." he told her. "I saw Keltoh...he was the one who hurt yur brother." he suddenly blurted out. He had been planning on keeping it to himself so she wouldn't worry, but she had a right to know.

China looked at him. She slowly rose up until she was in a sitting position. Her mouth opened and shut again, and then Her eyes flared with silent anger. Her whole face was shadowed and thunder clapped outside. She threw back the bed cover and got out, walking over to the mirror and standing in front of it for a few seconds, and then it smashed under her intense glare. She turned to Rome.Where is he. It was not said in the form of a question. She said the words through gritted teeth.

Rome quickly moved to China's side. He looked her in the eye and grabbed her shoulders in a firm but gentle grip. "Your brother is handling him. I don't want you anywhere near Keltoh. I won't let you or our daughter be harmed by him or anyone else. Please, China. I don't want you hurt." he told her, his firm voice worried. "I couldn't stand to see you or our daughter hurt if not worse."
