She let out a breath and fell against him, wrapping her arms around him.I know... Rome? Do you want to see your daughter?She suddenly remembered that Rome hadn't even seen his own daughter yet.

Faye heard commotion upstairs and woke up. She yawned and rubbed her tiny fists over her eyes and then squealed in a happy tone to wake up Silva.

Rome suddenly became even more worried at China's words. "Yes, but...What if she doesn't like me? What if she hates me?" he asked. He knew she was only a baby, but he was terrified that he wouldn't be a good father.

Silva jerked upright in the recliner at Faye's squeal. He looked around oon instinct before realizing the little girl had not squealed in alarm but happily. He looked down at her with a smile, squeezing her gently in his arms.

China smiled.She won't hate you. Your a good person. You wouldn't hurt anybody.

Faye stayed still and then, slowly, She sat up. She giggled in delight and looked up at Silva.

Rome managed a small smile in return. "I hope you're right." he muttered. "Alright. I guess I need to go say hello to our little 'bundle of joy'." he sighed, with a happy glint in his eyes. He was worried about being a father, but he was also happy about it.

Silva's eyes widened in shock as he saw Faye sit up. "Okay...I may not know a lot about kids, but I don't think babies should be sitting up when they are only a couple of hours old." he mumbled. "I guess you're just one of those smart babies." he told Faye, chuckling.

China smiled at him and took his hand, bringing him downstairs. She saw Faye sitting in Silva's lap and walked over to her, kneeling to kiss her on the head before turning to Rome. She beckoned him to come over.

Faye saw Rome and clapped her hands together. She pointed at him and made a sound that sounded vaguely like 'Dada'.

Rome let China lead him downstairs and stared in shock at the little girl sitting up in Silva's arms. He moved towards them. "That's our little girl?" he asked China, bewildered. "Was I gone more than a few hours?"

Silva laughed at Rome's reaction. He had been just as surprised. "Faye's a smart little girl for her age. Isn't she?" he asked the baby, tickling her belly.

China laughed and kissed his cheek. Vampire children grow fast.

Faye giggled and squirmed in Silva's arms, she didn't know what he was doing but she loved it.

Rome nodded numbly. "Obviously..." he mumbled. "Can I, um...hold her?" he asked. Silva grinned at his friend and stood up with the giggling Faye. He held out the baby to Rome. Rome took Faye into his arms with a look of awe on his face. "She's so tiny." he whispered.

Faye giggled and put both of her hands on Rome's face, very softly. She looked at him with an incredibly intelligent face. Her eyes were clear and wide and curious.

(Sorry here's me taking over again but I thought we could skip forward in a few posts to where she's like sixteen/seventeen and her and Silva can have an actual relationship?)

(Yeah I was thinking about that. Maybe we should have them all go to bed and then do the time skip.)

Rome smiled down at Faye. His eyes shining with joy as he held her against his chest.

(Yeah wanna have them go to bed now?)

Faye yawned. At the same time China rubbed her eyes and sighed. She leaned her head on Rome's shoulder.

(Yup)

Rome smiled softly at China and Faye. "Let's get you both to bed." he whispered to China nudging her towards the stairs. He looked over at Silva and the two friends nodded. "I'll take one of the rooms down here. I think that 'cat' is still up there." Silva told him, before he turned and dissapeared into one of the rooms down a long hallway.

She walled into the room and disappeared under the cover, falling asleep almost instantly. A small cot appeared out of nowhere in the corner of the room.

Rome jumped in surprise at the cot and looked over at China. His tattoos glowed briefly before the cot turned into a large crib. It had the same markings carved into it that where on his hands. The markings would allow the crib to grow along with Faye. He placed Faye down in the crib and covered her with a blanket, tucking her in. He smiled down at his daughter before he moved over to get into bed behind China. He pulled her against his chest and buried his face in her hair.

(2 years later)

Faye sat in a cherry blossom tree. Her long black hair moved every so often with the slight summer breeze. She had a squirrel in her lap and was busy splinting it's leg. It had fallen from a tree onto a rock. Her pale skin looked like it was glowing under her jet black hair. She looked up and saw two doves flying together. She sighed. She wanted a partner.
(Typical love scene i know. She doesn't know that Silva loves her yet BTW.)

"Hey Faye!" Silva's voice called out from under the tree. "What's going to happen when you fall out of that tree and get hurt? I'm not dragging you back to the house." he told her teasingly. He was sitting on top of a pretty little white mare and was holding onto Senshi's reins. The huge black stallion was the only horse on the ranch that Rome trusted enough to let his daughter ride. Silva grined up at Faye. "Well are you coming? I didn't saddle these two for nothing. There's something I want to show you." he told her.

She smiled, letting go of the squirrel. It bounded away and into the tree. She dropped down from the tree onto the horse and gathered the rains. I could have ridden bareback if its THAT much bother !What are you showing me?She laughed.Her voice was excited and Her eyes where shining. She loved new things.

Silva rolled his eyes. "Your father would have my head if I let you ride bareback, even if it's Senshi." he chuckled. "What if he stumbles? What if something spookes him?" Silva immitated Rome. He grinned at Faye. "Your father's favorite past time is worrying." he laughed. He nudged the mare into a trot. "You'll find out when we get there." he told her with a smile.

She nudged Senshi into canter. Her body was smooth and slim and lightly muscled, like that of a runner. She looked behind her at Silva.I want to find out now so lets get moving!

(Does Faye know about what her parents are? What Silva is?)

Silva laughed and urged the mare into a gallop, quickly surging past Senshi and Faye. "If you are so impatient, hurry up." he called back to her. He rode the mare back towards the farthest part of the ranch, where the woods and hills started. He crossed a wide creek before he entered the trees. He slowed the mare to a trot and quickly found an old deer path.

She laughed and then she was galloping, flying over creeks an bushes. Rome would kill her if he knew what she was doing. She laughed and pulled up beside Silva.Fast enough?

Silva rolled his eyes and laughed. "I guess, but I don't advise racing up these next hills. Keep a good grip on the saddle horn. It's about to get steep and rocky." he told her. He turned the mare and had her start moving up a rocky hill that gradually got steeper. "Your surprise is just on top of this hill."

She followed Silva up the hill.How much longer?She groaned teasingly.

"So impatient." Silva laughed and shook his head. He brought his mare around one more turn before stopping her on a large rock ledge. He dismounted and tied the mare up to a fallen tree. He motioned for Faye to follow him quietly as he moved over to the edge of the ledge.

She dismounted Senshi and loosened his girth, knowing that he would stay right there, she followed Silva, as quiet as a shadow. She stayed right beside him.
