China sobbed for a long while. Finally she got up and looked down, stray tears still running down her cheeks. Her shoulders shook.He... he...She couldn't speak. She dropped to her knees, her back turned to Fletcher, and hugged herself.

Rome jerked his arm out of Silva's grip and ran to China. He dropped to his knees in front of her and pulled her into his arms. "Shhhh...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let you done that. It's my fault. I'm sorry." he whispered against her hair. He held her against his chest tightly, but still being careful not to hurt her.

She didn't respond to him holding her, she hadn't thought about the consequences of what would happen. She closed her eyes. Her whole being was due to this man. Yes he had hurt her, but he had loved her, and Rome was the one he hated. She felt anger, boiling rage, bubble up in her chest and suddenly she saw red. Her whole body shook with rage. She snarled quietly, her hands digging in to the ground. Suddenly a feral growl ripped through her chest and she slipped out from Rome's arms and jumped across to Fletcher. She slapped him. Wake up! Wake up, damn you! She snarled again, louder this time. She turned to Rome and Silva. Damn you all to HELL!She screamed the last word. Ayra suddenly burst through the trees, only now she was a different cat. Her large white fangs were bared, her pupils slit, her hackles raised. She clawed the air in Rome and Silva's direction, snarling viciously. Her ears were right back and her tail was lashing to and fro.

"C-China?!" Rome gasped, falling back as Ayra clawed at him. Silva jumped forward and grabbed Rome, dragging him back as he pulled out his sword. Without warning Thistle leaped at the tiger, snarling viciously as she wrapped her human arms around the tiger's neck. On her long human fingers were sharp claws and she dug them into Ayra's skin. Senshi stumbled forward and shifted back into his natural form. The huge stallion stood between the fight and Silva and Rome, his ears pinned back and his sharp hooves pawing at the ground. The two demons would protect their spellcastors with their lives. Rome's knees buckled under him and he could only stare at China in shock even as Silva stood defensively in front of him. His mind was filled with total chaos. He had never seen China like this and he knew it was his fault. It was his fault Fletcher was dead. It was his fault China was so enraged. His head dropped into his hands and he suddenly felt sick. He wished China had let him die. Then none of it would have happened. If he had just died like he should have then China wouldn't have had to kill anyone.

She turned and snarled harshly at him. Who was he? He looks like a threat... she started to walk towards him, her stride now the stealthy stride of a huntress, her teeth bared. Her eyes glowed crimson. Suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her neck. Thistle digging her nails into Ayra. She could feel it. She jumped on Thistle, trying to rip her off Ayra, digging her nails into Thistle's neck. She raked her nails across her, hoping to draw blood.

A feral scream erupted from Thistle's mouth as she was yanked off of Ayra. She could feel blood dripping from her neck. She snarled and turned on her attacker. Her sharp claws lashing out as she bared her fangs. Silva growled when he saw Thistle being attacked and tried to help but was shoved back by Senshi. The moment an animal becomes a spellcastor's demon they have no choice but to protect their masters. What ever causes their masters pain causes them pain.

China snarled at her and turned to Rome. Who the hell was he? She had no idea, but he looked anguished so he was most likely an enemy. She turned and started running towards him. Ayra jumped at Thistle and started to bite her neck and arms, her claws raking at her stomach. China bared her teeth as she got closer to Rome.

Thistle screamed again and turned on the tiger. Biting and clawing as hard as she could as she felt hot blood drip down her arms and neck. Senshi reared up, geeting ready to bring his hooves down on China. Silva stepped firmly in front of Rome and held his sword. His eyes showing how determined he was to keep anything from hurting his friend. Rome looked up and his eyes locked onto China's. He let out one terrified scream, but he wasn't afraid for himself, he was afraid for China's life. His body suddenly convulsed and he dropped to the ground, frozen. His blue eyes stared at nothing as he lay on the ground. Silva cursed under his breath when he saw Rome. "Why does he have to be a pure-blood?" he groaned as he faced China again, raising his sword.

She bent over, swinging one arm around, and then flipped over Silva, landing directly on Rome. Injured? Most likely. Yes! She snapped her head towards his neck.

Silva swung his sword around at China, but it was deflected by a golden light. He cursed and jumped back in surprise. A blue light surrounded Rome as China attacked, forming a barrier that wouldn't let anything near him. It would send painful shocks through an attacker's body or even burn them. Silva went to swing his sword at China again, but a golden light flashed in his eyes, momentarily blinding him. 'Don't lose yourself.' the woman's voice whispered to China.

China jerked back in shock as sheild formed and the voice rang in her ears. She fought against it and whipped her head around, growling at Silva. But she was doubting herself. These strangers were familiar... old enemies? Friends? Family? WHO? She slammed her fist on the ground in frustration.

Silva stepped away from China and tried to move closer to Rome, avoiding the barrier. HE stood defensively, not trusting China. 'Remember who you are. Don't let the rage consume you.' the woman whispered.

China's mind repaired in one quick rush of pain. She dropped to her knees and her eyes dimmed, turning back to.silver.Fletcher...She fell on her side, her eyes closed and a perfect crystal tear sliding down her.cheek.

Silva stood stunned for a moment. He didn't know what to do. Normaly he would just kill her where she lay, but he knew Rome still loved China. He cursed and lowered his blade, but held it where he could quickly defened himself. "China?" he asked cautiously.

Thistle ripped herself away from the tiger and stumbled backwards, bleeding heavily. She growled low in her throat, baring her fangs. She barely caught a glimpse of Rome falling and then China.

China's mind faded into unconsciousness. Ayra stopped fighting and dropped heavily.

Silva saw the tiger stop fighting and carefully moved towards China. He pushed her on her back and noticed that she was unconsious. He cursed and stepped back. He looked at Senshi and the large horse was a man again. "I need you to find me some firewood. We wont be leaving for a while." he told him. The large man nodded and dissappeared into the trees, moving a little easier on two legs. Silva called Thsitle over and she reluctantly did. He quickly banadaged her wounds and rolled his eyes everytime she growled at him. When Senshi brought back the firewood he built a small fire near Rome and carefully lifted China up to lay her closer to it. Thistle sat down a few feet from the fire, her eyes moving back and forth to watch China and Ayra as Senshi sat not far from her. Silva moved cautiously towards the tiger. "Easy kitty kitty. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm just gonna put a bandage on the scratches Thistle gave you." he mumbled. He figured it wouldn't be a good idea for China to wake up and get angry again because her cat was hurt.

China's mind was again racing at a hundred miles an hour, but her body lay still Ayra lay.as.still.as.China, not even twitching her whiskers. China's hand twitched slightly to land in.the fire. The flames licked her.fingers, not one burn, not one.scratch.

Silva waited a moment before moving forward and bandaging the big cat. He stepped away and moved towards the fire. "What am I going to do?" he sighed to himself. He looked down at China and wondered if it was normal for vampires to pass out or whatever happened. He crouched down beside her. "You know Rome will kill me if anything happens to you right? Even though you tried to kill us." he muttered.

China's mine was busy repairing itself,fitting the pieces back together after it had shattered. She.groaned softly.

Silva jumped when she groaned and slowly reached his hand out to shake her shoulder. "China? You alive or whatever it is vampires are?" he asked, his voice quite.

She woke up, felt a hand on her shoulder, and saw.a.person not far away.from her. She did the natural thing. She screamed. Loud.

"What the?!" Silva shouted in surprise and fell back on his butt. His eyes wide as he stared at China and his hand instantly reached for his sword. Thistle leaned forward with a low growl, ready to jump up and protect her master. The fuzzy wolf ears twitched on her head and her tail swished on the ground behind her. Senshi shifted on the ground, watching.

She finally died down and her scream cut off abruptly. There was sweat on her chest and stomach and she felt like she had been hit with a house.

Silva sat for a moment trying to get his breath back as his heart pounded in his ears. He finally pushed himself back into a crouching position. He didn't even try to touch China again, his ears were still ringing from her scream. "China?" he asked cautiously.

China sat staring straight ahead, as still as a rock, not even blinking.
