He clapped Rome's shoulder and turned, taking China, he ran.

Keltoh opened the door to China's cell. She was a horrible sight. She was thin and ragged, wearing only a tiny grey vest and white short shorts. Her hair was long and tangled and streaked through with grey, her eyes were a dull, pulsing red and heavily shadowed, her tattoos were an ashy grey. Her skin was now translucent. Her nails were long, curved and sharp, her teeth were the same. ~Heavy, spiked chains ran from the wall to her body, attached to her arms, hands, legs, feet, neck and stomach with thick metal cuffs. Keltoh hated seeing her like this, but he had no choice.

Silva walked out of the hideout and sighed. Ever since Keltoh had taken China it seemed as if his friend had been withering away in front of his eyes. It was hard on the silver haired man to watch Rome slowly give up, the light fading from his eyes. For a while Rome had been constantly active waiting for some kind of news from Keltoh about China, but as the days passed by and no news came he started to fall into a deep depression. No words from Silva, Thistle, or even Senshi could cheer him up. He hadn't smiled or even laughed since China left and it worried Silva. Rome had gotten to the point where he couldn't sleep and he ate very little. He never even came out of the hideout anymore.

Keltoh had somehow forced the information of Rome's whereabouts out of China's head. He ran to where she had told him, there was a cave. He stopped at the hideout and peered in, looking for Rome.

Silva had hid in a tree near the entrance to the hideout when he felt someone coming. He leaped down behind the man and grabbed his shoulder. He spun the man around to face him, his hand on his sword and gasped when he recognized Keltoh. He looked at the hideout before walking into the trees away from it, motioning to Keltoh to follow him. If Keltoh had bad news about China he didn't want Rome to hear just yet.

Keltoh jumped, then calmed down and followed Silva.

Silva stopped a safe distance from the hideout and turned to face Keltoh, crossing his arms over his chest. "Why have you waited so long to find us? What's happened?" he demanded, his fear for his friend's life had made his patience grow thin.

He frowned.China wouldn't tell me where you were.When he said China's name his eyes saddened and his hands started shaking.

Silva immediately went still and quiet when he saw the look in Keltoh's eyes. "What happened? Is China alright?" he asked.

He sat down heavily on a tree stump.No... she's not alright.

Silva looked at Keltoh, worried. "Is she still alive?" he asked. The only thing he could think about was how much it would destroy Rome if China died.

He nodded.I don't know if alive is the word to use but she is not dead.

Silva let out a low growl and punched a near by tree making the whole tree shake as his tattoos on his hands glowed. His eyes flashed silver before quickly changing back. "Give me details. I need to know everything before Rome hears it." he demanded. He didn't mean to be so angry, but he was under a lot of stress.

He couldn't find the words, so he touched Silva's head and sent him an image of China. She was kneeling down, her hands facing backwards and palm up. She lifted her head an opened her eyes, which were slit vertically like a snakes. She hissed menicingly.

Silva jerked back and stared wide eyed at Keltoh. "Why is she so angry? What happened? Has she truly lost herself?" he asked, stunned.

Silva leaned back against a tree and sighed. "Rome can't even leave the hideout anymore, he's so weak." he told him. "I have no idea what to do. Maybe Rome and China need to see each other. I don't know." he muttered.

Silva nodded. "It seems to me that it is our only option. They are slowly being destroyed now." he said. "We need to get back to the hideout. I hate leaving it for long. Rome is getting dangerously weak and Senshi is suffering along with him. If Rome dies so does his demon even though I've had to weaken their bond more than I'd like to. Senshi will have to carry Rome. We're just lucky Rome hasn't retreated into his shield." he told Keltoh, walking back towards the hideout. "Do not mention China's health to Rome." he added.

Keltoh.shook his head.We'd best hurry. I need to get back to her.

Silva nodded and picked up the pace. He entered the hideout quietly and made his way to the large room. Rome was lying on the bed, his eyes closed and his skin ghost white. He didn't even open his eyes as Silva approached and it worried him. Silva quickly reached out and gently shook Rome's shoulder, sighing in relief when his friend looked up at him. "We're leaving. Keltoh is finally here." he told Rome. He felt almost guilty when he saw a small spark of hope in Rome's eyes, knowing that seeing China could destroy him.

Keltoh strolled in.Can he walk? Meanwhile, China was having one of her fits, thrasing and straining against her chains.

Silva shook his head at the same time Rome tried to sit up only to fall back. Even that small effort had him exhausted. "He'll have to ride Senshi." Silva told Keltoh. The large black stallion walked towards them. It was easy to tell that the horse wasn't as strong as he normally was. As Rome heath decreased so did Senshi's. Silva quickly moved around the hideout, packing anything they might need into a small pack. He had put a spell on the pack so that he could put as much as he needed in it. He moved over to Senshi and tied a rope around him in the form of a harness so that Rome could hold on. "Can you help me with him?" he asked Keltoh as he moved to Rome's side. Rome would have protested if he could, but he was almost to the point of passing out.

Keltoh nodded and helped Silva get Rome onto the horse. He looked back at Silva.Do you need me to stay with you or will I run ahead and leave obvious tracks?He was desperate to get back to China.

Silva looked at Keltoh and shook his head. "Go on ahead. Thistle can track your scent. Make sure you leave tracks or something though just in case." he told him as he made sure Rome wouldn't fall. Rome had passed out, but Silva was used to it. Thistle padded up to Keltoh and circled him, sniffing the air. She stepped back after she was sure she knew his scent and dipped her head to Silva.

Keltoh nodded and ran, breaking branches and leaving prints. He arrived at his door and faltered, slightly afraid to go in.
