She tilted her head away gently, studying him again. The she trotted by, whisking her tail up into his face flirtily.

He grinned and cantered ahead on her towards the edge of his territory.

She laughed softy, and turned into his forest, disappearing. She could see him, but she was hidden, her coat camoflaugiug her, the mist turning her to a ghost.

He sighed,this always happened. He could never find her. He walked back to the doones.

Her laugh gently rang to his ears, and she trotted through the large treetrunks. She sighed, finding a stream that branched from the river, and drank the water.

Starlight trotted through the dunes, looking solemn.

"Moonlight left. He said he had to go, or you would drive him out. You or Lady Luck." She said, flicking her ear. Then she tilted her head on him. "She just has an attitude."

"It's your land. I don't think a stallion would dar. One border is a river, one is the mountains, the other is the ocean." She sighed.

He laughed,"For Lady Luck? I think so."

"Then go after her, pa." she sighed, trotting off towards the orchards. 'I think i'll go try the peaches..." she grinned at him, and then disappeared behind the dunes.

Lady Luck trotted deeper into the woods, ears pricked, tail flicked up, neck arched. Like the perfect arab. She found a small trail and cantered up it, exploting their woods. She could see the main river up ahead. It flowed from the mountains, and around to the sea, creating a haven for Shaton and his herd.

Shaton trotted towards her scent. "Lucky!"

The arab turned her dome and pricked her ears, hearing the distant echo of Shaton calling for her. Lady Luck let out a whinny, and then trotted to the river, dropping her head to take a sip.

He galloped towards her,ears pricked forward. "Lucky! How much do I have to tell you not to wander off?!"

She turned, and rolled her eyes. 'It's your territory. Relax. You know i'll never leave your land." she said, exhasperated.

He looked at the haven mountain. He looked back at Lucky,turning towards there home he tracked his daughter. "We found a different place to stay!"

The blue thing is the river. The random black is where the territory ends. Technically, the river is the border though. I just wanted to seperate it from the rest of the pick. Its like, impenetrable, his territory is.

(Yah,they could still live in the mountains though)

Lady Luck trotted through the woods, out to the orchards. She wasn't as one would call, obediant. She reared up, pulling down some of the leaves.

Starlight tilted her head to her fathers oncoming hoofbeats.

She looked up, flicking her ears back. 'Why?" she asked, flicking her tail and taking a few prancy steps back.

"It's in the mountains and the lake is very big and it runs through the mountains. It's like a Haven!" He stepped towards his daughter.

"You mean the mountains in the erritory, right?" she said, frowning slightly.

"What if Moonlight comes back? What if he can't find us?" she asked, ears flicked back. Her brother was her best friend, and she missed him already.
