Shaton was furious. He was on spot and his eyes' were bleached red like blood. He had already put the foals' to bed.

She flicked her tail as she passed through the dunes and into the caverns. She looked once at Shaton and sighed.

He spotted her and trotted back to the back den and left her to sit alone.

She followed, slower, still enjoying the night the best she could. She looked up at the stars and sighed, before slipping into the cavern. She silently walked to her usual place, near the back wall, and lay down, flicking one ear. She swished her tail,a and glanced over at Shaton once more, before closing her eyes and trying to sleep. But tonight, the waves crashing that normally lulled her to sleep, seemed too harsh and loud, and kept her wide awake. She shook her head softly, and tried to convince herself to sleep. She finally did, but fell into nightmares where she was running, running, trying to save her family and escape her own doom all at once, but didnt seem to move despite running as fast as she could. She broke into a cold sweat, muttering in her restless sleep.

Shaton couldn't sleep either. He nuzzled her neck,trying to wake her up.

She tensed up, and then her eyes snapped open, and she breathed a sigh of releif. Her heart was racing, and she shivered slightly. She felt him near her and snuggled closer for warmth, sighing. She felt even worse, like exhaustion was eating her away. She mumbled something about never waking up again, and drifted into light, dreamless sleep, laying at Sahtons warm side.

He layed down,putting his head under hers. "Don't ever do that to me."

She sighed. "it's your territory. You should know i'd be fine." she said groggily, and she leaned on him, warming a little.

"I guess but even your foals' were woried sick!" He let her and nuzzled her.

She chuckled. "They were sleeping." she replied, before shutting her eyes and dozing.


(you wake her)

He nudged her,the foals' were already up. "Wakey Wakey sleepy Lucky!"

She grumbled, but clambored to her feet, yawning. The foals trotted over to nurse, and then ran outside to play in the waves. They were much older now, and had already started grazing.

Shaton trotted away from the doones. He looked for some peaches',he loved peaches' but really never got to have them. He leaped up and snagged a peach off the tree.

Lady Luck followed, and chuckled. She shook herself, and then started grazing on the sweet grass beneath the trees. She lifted her head and looked over to where the twins' were racing. they had turned, and were running through the sand dunes. They galloped into the meadown, laughing.

(They're gonna be tall becasue she is 16.3 hh, and he is 18. whatever hands.)

He watched the foals' while chomping on his peach. "Hey Lucky,do you like Peaches?"

She shrugged. "I don't have an intense sweet tooth. I prefer grasses."

She trotted over with a peach anyway,"Fine but atleast try one,for me" He gave her those big unreasistble eyes.

She rolled her own, but took a bite. "Sweet." she said when she was finished. Then she glanced up at her two foals as they raced down the fields, turning to small specks. "They'll turn around when they get to the river. I told them it was the edge of your terf." She trotted over to a sand patch, and lay down, rolling in the cool grains. Then she stood, shaking, but she still had the golden sand clinging t her brown coat.

"We can go swim today!" He trotted towards the nice calm ocean. "Comon!"

She rolled her eyes, and followed at a walk, gently flicking her tail at the bugs. She stepped into the sea, letting the water wash over her hooves, then her knees, then her stomach, then her back. She walked further and further, and then dipped her head under. She swam, stretching out her legs.

"Lucky! No YOU are watching the foals today,while I relax!" He gave a wide grin and trotted in soaking himself hoof to ear.

She snorted, and continued swimming. "They are old enough to care for themselves." she replied. They were almost two now, when her son would have to leave.

Shaton snorted and layed down. "Lucky why are you always swimming without us?"

'Why aren't you always swimming with me?" she asked, now wading towards the shore. She shook herself, letting the un evaporate the water, leaving her coat salty.

He grinned and trotted forward meeting her muzzle.
