Careta nodded. "If the Alpha commands it, but will Ashton be up for it?" she asked Bella.

Bella frowned. What's wrong with Ashton?

Careta shrugged her slender shoulders. "Sometimes I think he's fine, but other times it seems like he isn't." she told the other woman.

Bella blinked at her.Okay... well we're leaving soon so get ready. She went back to find Fenris.

Careta watched her leave before going to Ashton's room. She knocked softly on the door.

Ashton got a fright and jerked violently at the soft noise. He grunted as a substitute of saying 'please come in'.

Careta's ears caught the grunt and quietly opened the door. "Ashton, are you feeling alright?" she asked softly.

Ashton put a hand over his eyes and shook his head slightly.

Careta silently walked towards Ashton and sat down on the edge of the bed. "What's wrong?" she asked, keeping her voice quiet.

Ashton sighed.Nothing serious, Careta. What's going on?

"Fenris and Bella are heading back to the caves soon. Would you like to go with us?" she asked him.

Ashton gave her an odd look.Well I can't really live on my own, now can I?He said irritably

Careta frowned at his words. She hadn't meant it like that. She just wanted to give him the choice. "No, I guess not." she said, the words coming out a bit sharper than she intended.

Ashton exhaled. I'm sorry. Yes, of course I'll go wherever you go. He mumbled.

"Do you want any help getting ready? We can have clothes made at the caves if you do not want to take any clothes with you." she told him, looking down at her feet with her hands held at her sides.

Ashton shook his head. He heaved himself up and out of the bed, sitting on the edge. He was wearing an old t shirt and sweatpants, but frankly he didn't care.

Careta looked up at Ashton with a concerned look on her face, but nodded her head. "I'll leave so that you can get ready." she told him, turning and heading for the door.

Ashton nodded tightly and half stumbled towards his closet. He picked out a slightly more presentable shirt and jeans, with his old boots.

Careta left to go to her own room, packing only a few of her more prized possessions. She had clothes back at the cave that would be more presentable to wear around the pack.

Ashton exited his room, bringing nothing but himself. He had almost nothing of value.

Careta walked down the stairs with a small bag thrown over her shoulder. She sat down on one of the couches in the living room to wait for Bella and Fenris.

Fenris only grabbed a few of his throwing knives and small daggers, wrapping them and placing them into a bag. He had most of his belongings at the caves and he wanted to be sure that they made it to the caves safely.

Ashton made his way down the stairs, slowly lest he should fall. He went over and sat next to Careta.

Bella sat on the edge of the bed and swung her feet. She had no idea how she got here, and she had no idea where all her stuff was.

Careta simply glanced over at Ashton with a worried look on her face.

Fenris moved towards Bella with the bag in his hand. "Are you ready? We can get you anything you need back at the caves." he told her.

Ashton felt awkward under Careta's scrutiny.I'm fine. He grumbled, though his face was slightly pale from the exertion.

Bella nodded, smiling at him, showing all of her teeth in what could be called a menacing look. The look disappeared from her face as quickly as it came.

Careta frowned at Ashton's words but kept her mouth shut as she looked away. She had every intention of taking him to the pack healer the moment they returned.

Fenris caught the look on Bella's face, but chose to ignore it. He gave her his own smile before offering a hand for her to take. "Let us get going then." he told her.
