The cream she-wolf stalked past Enzo and past the scent-markers, her pups following. She glanced sideways, her tattooed eye showing. "Thank you."

Enzo smiled, "Of course." He followed them, walking behind her.

She nervously shifted, falling back so he wasn't behind her. One of her pups stubled, and she roughly nudged it to stand again.

Enzo trotted up under a tree and lay down.

Hope sat beneath another, the pups play fighting.

"What are their names?"

She shrugged, "Nali, Ranna, Sacha." She pointed to the three she-pups of the older litter. Nali was dark brown, Ranna a blue-grey, with a dusted brown back, and Sacha was a white pup, with blue eyes. "Nori and Lithe." She pointed to the older he-pups. Nori was like Nali, with grey eyes, and Lithe was black with blue eyes. "The others are so young, I haven't thought about it."

He smiled at the pups,"Well, I am King." he touched his nose to their cheeks gently.

I thought he was Enzo?

The pups woofed and scampered away.

Enzo looked at Hope, "Sorry." he lowered his eyes.

She shrugged. "I don't care." She didn't seem very interested in the pups. They cautiously sniffed at Enzo.

Enzo cocked his head but looked at the pups, "Hi." he smiled at them and lay down he unfolded in wings.

Hope dropped her chin onto her paws, and closed her eyes, while the two litters attacked Enzo.

Enzo grinned and rolled over on his back, his white wings blazing in the sun. He flopped his toung out of his mouth and laughed.

They pounced on him, chewing his tail, paws, and ears.

Enzo growled playfully and nipped at the pups nicely.

The seven of the youngest litter scampered away to hide behind Hope. The older litter growled back, all working together to overpower him.

Enzo smiled and growled again, he barred his teeth playfully.

Hope growled softly, stalking off towards an empty den off to the side of the leaders den, and flopped down inside, chin on her paws, eyes shut. The pups continued to overpower Enzo, all twelve of them, every now and then checking they could still see Hope.

Enzo rolled over "Ahhhh!!!! I give up!!!" he smiled at the pups.

They yipped and howled triumphantly, and then raced towards their mothers den, hungry.

Enzo got up and trotted over to them. He waited for them to feed them said,"Pups.. come with me and I can show you your nest."

They yapped excitedly, and Hope groaned. "Make them stop." She mumbled, yawning.

Enzo smiled, "Come on little ones." He walked to te biggest cave/nest. "Is it warm enough for you?"

(Eh, I forgot they were nests ^^)

They all clambered up and hopped into the nest. Hope sighed and curled up in hers.
