She pinned her ears. "Moon being a forcer isn't relevant. You can't breed me because your my father. He can't breed me because he's my brother. Flinmts your beta, so he's a good stallion. I'm not making him give up his position, and I did whatever you wanted me to, until I left. You couldn't have expected me to stay forever. Why are you so mad about it?" Her voice quited at the end, so she wasn't yelling. just asking a serious question,

He calmed down,"Because,can't you give me time to adjust? Do you know how sad I was? How I woke up terrified you were dead? I know Starlight but i'm not ready for you to breed. If you want to breed go right ahead but you,nor Flint will be welcomed,ever."

Flint looked up at Shaton. "If we are not welcome here Shaton, then good bye, Starlight, are you coming with me?" He nuzzled her affectionately and turned around.

"So I guess your breeding huh? Whatever Flint,I thought you were the horse but I guess not."

"I never said that we would breed yet, I respect you Shaton, but you have to understand, I love your daughter, and I will be with her no matter what, we never yet agreed to have a foal, we are both still young and have a lot of time on our hooves. No one said we were breeding now, if you don't want to have us be together in your herd than I won't be a part of your herd. I am sorry Shaton." He held his head high and waited for Starlight to say something.

"Flint,did I ever mention I didn't want you to be together? Nope. I quote "Flint you can be together just not breed"." His eyes glared hastily.

Lady Luck nudged shaton, and starlight flicked her tail against Flints side. "Dad, its been years. You don't want me to have a foal because you need to adjust? Well, if I had stayed and you had 'passed me on', I wouldve jad one or two by now. Don't be so scared, I'm not helpless. I can fend for myself. If you were that worried, then maybe you should of thought to try and bring me back. Because all that time, you weren't the only one hurting. I thought you never cared." She turned, and nudged Flint, walking forward. Lady Luck sighed, shaking her head.

He snorted,"Honestly Starlight? Do whatever you want. Stay go,have a foal,multiple don't care. It's your life I don't care,just don't ever talk to me again. After all,I don't matter right?" He spun around and walked away cooly.

"I was right." She said quietly. "if you really missed me, why can't I be happy?" She whispered to herself. And in her head she answered herself, 'Because you can't love flint, and be with your parents. You have to pick one.' And so she turned her head, and watched Lady Lucks last frantic glance. And then as she followed her mate. Starlight turned, and pressed close to flint. "Come on, let's go find home."

Lady Luck followed Shaton, nose against his shoulder.

"Lucky,I forever forbid you to ever speak,or look at her again. Spread it too all the horses,including the foals."

"They probably don't know we even had a foal before Lidia, Shaton." She sighed. "I think that's a little extensive. I doubt shell come near us again." She nuzzled his neck.

'Never,underestimate the enemy Lucky. I have learned that from experiance." He nuzzled her.

"Since when is our daughter 'the enemy'?!?!" She cried, distressed.

He snorted,tail waving back and forth,clearly irritated. "Are you on my side or hers?!" He gave her a weird look and cantered towards home.

Yeah, she pisses everyone off. I've actually been thinking of ways to kill her off. But then we have a fight in my head, and she always wins. Sometimes I really hate my charries.


Lady Luck sighed, and wandered through the woods until she was at the river. She waded across, and walked to the orchards. She lay down on the soft grass, and closed her eyes.

NO don't you dare kill her. Kill her daughter. XD

He followed her and stoof up beside her,nothing was ever to touch her.

Yeah, I was talking about starlight. Though now that oi think of it, thered be plenty of fun ways to kill Lady Luck tooo...


Lady luck looked up, and saw him. She shifted, moving her lags so he could lay beside her. She leant on a tree trunk.

He laid down beside her,still weary.

He woke slowly,stretching his legs as he clambered onto his big hooves. He nuzzled Lucky softly,"Wake up."

She opened her eyes, and stood up. The sun hadn't risen yet. She blinked sleepily, and leaned against him.

He smiled,"Common,we should get home." Her nuzzled her.

Lady Seren got to her tumbleweedy feet but clambered up somehow,tail a swishin she walked over to her mother and stood beside her,ears pricked.

She smiled oftly, and started walking through the fruit trees towards the beach.

She started squealin and raced ahead of her mum.

Lady Luck sighed, and changed course, choosing a different way to get to the cavern. Lesson one: don't stray from your mother.
