Denis was happy today. Today was the day he was going to ride Daioh since the accident. He walked to Daioh's stall and with a grooming kit. He started grooming Daioh and he was beginning to get excited too. Denis finished grooming and got Daioh's tack. He tacked him up quickly and then walked him into the arena. He mounted up with some difficulty but managed to do it. Daioh began to walk around with a slight limp but the more he went the more it was less noticeable. They kept going and broke into a trot. Then a canter. Daioh had his form back and was moving wonderfully. Denis was a bit stiff but the longer they rode the more he loosened up.

Lee had been training in the jump arena with Night, but stopped when she saw Denis. Her brow furrowed in concern, she watched. "Are you sure you're both ready? Maybe you should've stretched first."

He looked towards her, "Yea. We're okay. I've been lunging him a lot latley too."

"You should be careful though." She said, still concerned.

He nodded, "I know. I'm just about to take him in now."

She nodded. "Then you'd better rest."

he smiled again, patting Daioh on the neck he slid off his back. He untacked Daioh and walked out of the arena, Daioh following him lazily.

Lee watched him suspiciously, folding her arms.

He put away the tack away and hosed down Daioh. He dried him off gently with a towel and then walked him to the pasture. He trotted out to the middle and rolled around.

She slipped from Night back, untacking him and putting it away, putting Night into Daiohs pasture. Then she pulled out a white mare, plump with foal, and stroked her nose affectionately. "You can take one of the ponies." She said, glancing over. "If you want to." She groomed the mare, but put her back in her stall. And she pulled out a leopard appaloosa, slipping a western bridle onto his face. He willingly took the bit, watching her admiringly.

He grinned, grabbing one and put an english bridle on him.

Kayy, yours is charlie, a black pony, a he.
Mines strobe, leopard appaloosa mare.

She smiled, leading strobe out and hopping onto her back.

okiie dokiie.!

Denis patted his neck, and got onto his back. He smiled and pet him again.

She stopped beside him, glancing over. "Let's go."

He nodded, nudging his heels onto Charlie's sides, edging him forward.

He broke into a strong walk, muscles moving beneath Denis. Lee gently pressed Strobe forward, who stepped into a proud walk, picking up her hooves, tail and head high.

Denis smiled at Strobe. He relaxed into Charlie's movements and sighed.

(it won't be that exciting but it'll be "fun"

"Come on let's race to the beach." He nudged Charlie's side, urging him into a gallop.

She laughed, nudging the mare into an elongated stride, galloping up past them. Charlie snorted, taking quicker, longer strides, catching up.

Denis patted Charlie's neck, "Common boy faster!" he whispered in his ear.

He ran faster, legs eating up the ground. When Strobe realized he was outpacing her she sped it up. They were neck-in-neck.
