A tall and sleek girl pushed her way through the tall grass, almost neck-high in it. She puffed as the tips almost wacked her in her face and just didged tripping over a few well-hidden rocks. Sighing loudly, she fianally stepped out of the field, only to be half blown-away by a strong breeze. Muttering something under her breath, she quicky jogged over to a tree-covered area. It was now night-time, and she could hard;ey see where she was going. She stopped and bent down, hands on her knees, panting. Shivering a bit, she straightend up and strode over to a rather large tree-trunk and plonked down. After a few minutes with her head burried in her hands, she wrapped her arms around herself and rested her head on her knees, blankly lost in thought.

Storm, the massive fresian/arabian cross, Spotted the girl and snorted. He was curious about this 2 legged creature, he had never seen one in person before but he had heard stories. He perked his ears and stomped the ground and he walked closer to this stranger, ready to flee if needed. The clouds parted a little, the rain sprinkled on his ebony coat and the wind blew gently. Storm had a way to control the weather around him.

"Hm?" she murmed, hearing something. She tilted up her head a bit to see what was there. It was too dark to see, she thought, but she defenetly heard something. Blinking plainley again, she gentley placed her hands on the ground and slowley pushed herself up, seing if a better angle would give her a better view.

He threw his head and his long black mane flew wildly around his face. Lightning struck in the sky alluminating his dark figure for the girl to see. He snorted again and pinned his ears back in concern. His tail flicked and he waiting to see what she'd do.

She jumped when lightning struck the dark sky. She looked up at the sky, then glanced down at the horse. Oh....a horse.... she frowned. It must have been lost, or ran away or something, she thought. But what was it doing out here in an abandoned field like this? The quetion stuck for a moment before she once again rested her gaze on the horse.

Storm posed bravely, showing no fear. He reared partially and landed his feet on the ground and thunder boomed as he did. He walked closer to her still keeping some distance and he perked his dainty ears, listening intently. The clouds were still dark but the rain had pretty much compeletly stopped. He carefully arched his long black neck out and sniffed of her hand, ready to flee if there was any sudden movements.

Her expression switched to a small worried frown. Why did thunder always have to go boom whenever this horse reared? She kept blinking and watched, her eyes still locked on the horse. What a big horse, she thought,fl inching a little when it came to sniff her hand.
