She sighed in contentment, and pressed closer to him.

"I'm sorry Starlight, I mean I don't know how much you wanted to join back,"

"I wouldve been fine if he hadn't been so controllive. He holds a grudge against me for leaving." She said.

"Maybe you should apoligize to him, I mean, I sure would be sad or mad if my daughter left, I'm not saying that you should, just that you should think about it, and I am not standing up for him."

She shook her head. "I know my father. Even if we were in his herd until we died, he would not let me nor you breed. With anyone, including each other."

Flint nodded his head, "I am sorry," He nuzzled her affectionatly

Shaton had been hearing,and watching. He trotted forward. "Whatever Starlight!! Do whatever!! It's your life and I cannot control it!! Your always upset and your hard headed,always trying to battle against me!! You know what?!?! Why don't you and Flint just go off and have foals!! If thats honestly what you want to do then have at it!! I'm done with you!!" He layed his ears down and stormed off.

"Because I'm in love with someone. You don't want to have grandfoals in your herd? Whatever. Good, glad to know I have your permission to carry a foal." She snorted.

(Rr. Next time I get to have the foal. And it's got to be a filly.)

Shaton's hardy,calm look vanished."Grandfoals???!! Listen to yourself!! Mabye your mother can talk some sense into you." He galloped away. He came panting into the cove,he screeched out,"Lucky!! Hightail it over here!! I need you!"

(*shrugs* she's very... Stubborn, I guess. Its her way or no way. She's kinda annoying, really.)

Lucky appeared, looking quite chill. "Yeah?" She asked, pressing her muzzle to his neck.

Flint pricked his ears at all the yelling, then looked at Starlight and nuzzled her reasuringly.

She flicked her tail angrily. " I understand being a little mad, but this is uncalled for! It always has to be his way! If he can't breed with me, why not let you? Its so, so... Unnecessary!"

Flint nodded his head and dropped his ears back a little.

She sighed, scrunching her eyes closed, pressing her forehead against his side.

"Please go talk sense into Starlight before I bite Flint." He nuzzled her and whickered softly,poised to walk in that direction.

She sighed, and cantered towards the border.

Starlight flicked her ears back as Lady Luck appeared. "What's this about?" She asked, looking from Flint to Starlight."Ask him." She replied, ears still back.

Flint looked at Lady Luck.

"Shaton," she called into the forest behind her. "I think you should be a part of this discussion to."

He snorted and burst out into a full,panting,sweating gallop,he finnaly reaching them,panting. "Yea"

"What kind if 'sense' do you want me to talk into our daughter?" She asked.

Starlight flicked her ears back.

"Go on. Tell her." His ears pierced his head.

Starlight glared. "I came back to joi, to be with Flint. And then he said Flint can't breed and I can't breed, and said I was a brat. What for? In case you don't recall, I haven't seen you for a long time."

Lady Luck looked between Starlight and Shaton. "Your turm." She said to Shaton.

"She just came trotting over the territory,expecting me to accept her in and be a broodmare to Flint. Flint specificly told me he didn't want to breed,plus the fact I barely know him!! I'm only eight for heaven's sakes! She acted like a brat,telling me I wasn't fair. Flint was the only one acting mature about it. She doesn't get why she can't breed either!" From all the yelling he was panting harder.

Starlight replied. "You accepted me pretty fast. Yeah, I don't understand. The only stallions who can't breed me are you, and my brother. You know him enough to have him as your Beta. You said, and I quote, 'you'll stay here until we find you a nice stallion, and then well pass you on to him.' Well, you found a nice stallion. And I fell in love with him."

Lady Luck didn't say anything, just looked between them.

"Your brother is a forcer. Get it? Flint is my beta. If he isn't going to uphold his job position then whatever,do what you want Starlight. That's all you ever seem to do!"
