Rosetta nodded and laid back down. "That's good. She needs the practice. Eventually she'll have a family of her own." she mumbled, her mind starting to become foggy again.

The twins' crying had died down a little, but they kept whimpering occasionally. Raven had come out of her hiding place once they had quieted down a little and was sitting on her usual perch.

His face was unreadable.As long as she waits. I'm not ready to give her up yet.

Rosetta shook her head slightly. "Even if she had children of her own it wouldn't mean we were giving her up." she whispered, yawning sleepily.

Sweeney smirked.Well. It's not like we're going to have to deal with that any time soon. I'm pretty sure anthony does not want to die yet. He said it in a joking voice but his eyes were hard and it was clear that he was not, in fact, joking.

Rosetta rolled her eyes as they started to drift close. "Don't be ridiculous. They are married. It's about time they start making their own decisions." she told him as she slowly drifted off to sleep. She had been trying to stay awake, but the blood lose had exhausted her.

The moment Rosetta fell asleep Raven padded into the room only to come to a halt when she saw the puppy in the basket. "What is that thing doing in the house?" she hissed in disgust, looking accusingly at Sweeney. She quickly moved over to the bed and jumped up to sit beside Rosetta. Her green eyes widening when she saw the bandage on the woman's arm. "What happened?" she asked in shock.

Sweeney looked at the cat with an amused expression.It's a puppy.His expression changed when he looked at Rosetta.She got attacked by a dog.

"She got attacked by a dog and then you let that...that creature into the house!?" Raven nearly yowled. "What do you think that thing is going to grow up to be? A tame little kitten? I think not!" she hissed. She jumped when Rosetta mumbled something in her sleep and turned just in time to see the woman wince as she moved her injured arm. Raven instantly grew quiet and her green eyes flashed with concern. "Will she be alright? The wound isn't infected is it?" she asked softly, worry clear in her voice.

Sweeney ran over and checked the wound.She should be fine.

Raven let out a small sigh and visibly relaxed. "How did this happen?" she asked.

She was outside and I was distracted.He cast the cat a sideways glance.

"Did she not scream? Did no one hear her?" Raven asked, becoming irritated.

He was irritated.You have the best ears, You tell me.

"I was with the twins when they started screaming. I'd like to see you try to hear anything but their wailing when you are only a few feet from them." Raven snapped, baring her teeth in a silent snarl.

Just what are you trying to prove?He growled.

"Where were you exactly when it happened?" Raven asked him, an accusatory look in her eyes.

His eyes narrowed.Not close enough.

Raven was about to reply when Rosetta mumbled something in her sleep and turned over, cradling her injured arm against her chest at the same time the puppy in the basket stirred and awoke. The little puppy started whimpering and moving around, causing Raven to hiss. The cat wasn't about to stick around in the same room as the pup. She glared once at Sweeney before jumping down and leaving the room to find Johanna.

Johanna sat on a window seat, hugging her knees to her chest. She stared out the window distractedly.

Raven padded down the hallway until she finally found Johanna. The black cat jumped up onto the seat next to the young woman and pressed her side against her, purring softly.

Johanna stroked the cat absenstmindedly.I wish you could talk.She muttered, not expecting an answer.

Raven purred as Johanna stroked her fur, her eyes drifting closed. "And what would say if I could?" she asked softly, her tail swishing back and forth.

Johanna jumped and gasped, holding her stomach which had twinges painfully from the sudden movement.What?

Raven made a grumbling nose when Johanna stopped stroking her and looked up at the woman. "What would you say if I could talk?" she repeated. She looked at how she was holding her stomach and concern flashed in her eyes. "Are you stomach pains that intense? Perhaps you should go to the doctor." she advised.

Johanna shook her head.Im fine.She mumbled.I.. how can you talk?

Raven sighed and looked down at her paws before looking up at Johanna. "I'm a werecat." she said simply, before looking back at her paws and lifting one to clean off a little dirt.
