Rosetta looked in the full length mirror in horror. She was standing in front of it in her and Sweeney's room of their new house. It was a simple two bedroom, two bathroom house. One for her and Sweeney and one for Johanna, who Rosetta now considered her daughter. There was a small kitchen and dining room down the hallway along with a medium sized living room. She was currently starring at her reflection with a look of pure terror. She rubbed her stomach with a shaking hand where a small bump was forming. Tears threatened to spill from the corners of her eyes.

Sweeney was sitting in the living room with Johanna, telling her of her mother and how she looked just like her.

(time for drama )

Rosetta suddenly screamed as she threw the hair brush she was holding at the wall. She dropped her head into her hands and started sobbing, standing in the middle of the room.

Sweeney appeared by the door, not sure if he should come in.Rosetta? Are you okay?

Rosetta looked up with teary eyes when Sweeney appeared in the doorway. Without warning she sat down on the ground and started crying into her hands again. "I-I'm getting..." she trailed off, her voice sounding miserable.

He ran to her and put his arms around her from the back.Just tell me what's wrong.He pulled her hair back with one hand while his other hand stroked up and down her shoulder gently.

Rosetta kept her head in her hands. "I'm getting fat." she mumbled quietly a hand moving to her larger belly. She had found out only a week before that she was pregnant and she was waiting to tell Sweeney about it as a surprise. The only promblem was that the hormones were hitting her hard. The mood swings had started early.

His forehead creased in confusion before he understood. He cupped his hand around her stomach softly and closed his eyes, remembering how young he was the first time that he had done that. He held her to him.You wear it well.

Rosetta leaned back against Sweeney, her tears finally stopping. She wiped her eyes with trembling hands. "You're not mad?" she asked. She was afraid he would be mad that she kept her pregnancy a secret.

He bent over her to kiss her forehead.Not in the slightest.

Rosetta smiled up at Sweeney, suddenly happy. She tipped her head up and gave him a quick kiss on the lips before she ducked out of his arms. She grinned at him before disappearing out of the room, giggiling.

He shook his head, smirking. He walked toward Johannas room to tell her the big news.

Rosetta went into the kitchen and started making sandwichs for their lunch. Her own had an odd combination of peanut butter, fish, and pickles.

Sweeney was looking for Johanna and sighed when he found her gone. She regularly disappeared these days.

Rosetta walked back down the hallway and found Sweeney. "Lunch is ready. Where is Johanna?" she asked.

Johanna met Anthony near the church and smiled when he took her into his arms.

Sweeney shrugged.Walking.

Rosetta's face fell a little before she smiled up at Sweeney. "Care to join me for lunch? I made sandwiches." she asked him. "Sorry I'm not a very good cook."

She kissed him genuinely, her pretty face lit up.

He smiled.You are brilliant. It's just me, I'm never hungry.

Rosetta smiled brightly at Sweeney and took his hand, pulling him towards the kitchen. She grabbed his plate and put the sandwich down in font of his chair before grabbing her own and sitting down across the table from him.

He sat down smoothly in his chair and took a bite. It was nice enough. He smiled again at her.

Rosetta smiled and started eating her own sandwich. Normaly she would have gotten sick at the very idea of a peanut butter, fish, and pickle sandwich, but now she craved them. She had no idea why. When she was done she took her plate to the sink and started washing the dishes.

He stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Rosetta sighed happily and leaned back against Sweeney as she finished drying the dishes and her hands. She rested her head against his shoulder and closed her eyes, a content smile on her face. She put one of her hands on Sweeney's and rested the other one on her growing belly. "I wonder what it will be. I'm hoping for a little boy. What about you?" she asked.

He placed his hand next to hers.Little girls have always been my specialty, but a boy would be a refreshing change. Plus, he could take over the... family business...His voice was hungry.

Rosetta stiffened slightly in his arms. "Family bussiness?" she asked, suddenly worried. She knew that both her and Sweeney had taken a person's life before and it frightened her that she could do it again.
