Rosseta was startled awake by the sound of something being slammed against a wall.

He smiled and started the song Epiphany.(in mah sig)

Rosseta heard singing and recognized it to be Sweeney's. As she listened she slowly fell back asleep without nightmares.

He ended 'the song.(in the same position as in the video) his face went blank as he lost himself in thought. Mrs Lovett picked him up and helped him to his chair and he slumped down into it without a change in his expression. She sat on the floor in front of him and tried to get him to focus again.

Rosetta woke up with a start. Her mind had settled after the shock of seeing her old fiance, and she could feel the different auroras around her again. She was confused, normally the auroras around her blended together, only occasionally standing out. Sweeney's stood out, but not because of one single emotion. There were so many emotions that they all mixed together making him unreadable. She stood carefully, only putting a little pressure on her twisted ankle and limped over to the door where the stairs were. She paused with her hand on the door, wondering if she should go up there or not.

She tried for a while and gave up, leaving by the back entrance to go and get a few groceries. Sweeney sat there, frozen in his own mind. He was scarcely breathing.

Rosetta finally opened the door and started to go up the stairs, being careful to put only a little weight on her ankle. When she reached the second floor she spotted Sweeney sitting in his chair. "Mr. Todd?" she asked quietly.

Sweeney stayed staring ahead, his expression blank. There was almost a flicker of recognition in his eyes when she spoke. In his head, he was going through old, painful memories. Somebody needed to wake him up.

Rosetta was getting worried as she watched him. She moved towards him and knelt in front of him. She hesitated before reaching forward and grabbing his hands in hers. "Mr. Todd?" she asked, her voice worried and nervous.

When Rosetta touched him he slowly regained focus, hearing her say his name his eyes flickered towards her. He looked down and noticed that his hands were in hers. He tensed slightly. He didn't want her to like him. She was only innocent, after all. She didn't deserve anything to do with his dark, twisted mind.

Rosetta noticed that he tensed up when he looked at their hands. "I...I'm sorry." she apologized quietly, pulling her hands away, suddenly feeling rejected. She knew it was stupid to feel that way, but she couldn't help it. She looked up at his face, trying to keep her feeling out of her eyes. "Are you alright?" she asked her voice barely above a whisper.

His forehead creased when she sounded hurt. It was better, though, to let her think that. He looked at her, trying to tell her that he wasn't rejecting her through his eyes. I'm fine. Are you?

Rosetta felt his aurora shift and quickly smiled up at Sweeney, hoping she didn't make him mad or anything. His aurora was confusing to her. "I'm okay. Thank you for helping me earlier. Most people send me away when they find out what I did." she said quietly, noticing a change in his eyes.

He held her gaze steadily.I can relate. You can trust me with anything.

Rosetta smiled and sighed in relief. It was nice to hear those words. She had always wanted someone to trust. She wanted them to know about what she had done and not yell and scream at her and send her away. "Thank you." she whispered, tears gathering in her eyes.

He cleared his throat. Try not to get all emotional on me, hm? Suddenly, a woman burst into the shop.Where's my husband?? He came here and never came back? She noticed Sweeney, splattered with blood. She screamed. Shite.Sweeney mumbled under his breath. He walked slowly over to her, his hand with the razor in it behind his back.[/b]Ma'am, your husband is quite well. Do not worry. My brother is a chicken slaughterer, forgive me for not.cleaning up.[/b]The woman was either stupid or didn't see the dangerous glint in his eyes.

Roseta listened to both the woman's and Sweeney's words and put a hand to her mouth to cover a gasp. The aurora she had felt earlier, the one she felt disappear had to have been the woman's husband. She shook her head roughly. Sweeney had accepted her for what she had done. She should return the favor. She stood up and moved towards the woman, trying not to show that she was limping because of her ankle. She noticed the look in Sweeney's eyes and hurried to the woman's side, pushing her towards the door. "I don't mean to intrude, but I think I heard your husband mention something about going somewhere with a few of his friends. Or maybe he had some business to attend to. I'm sure he's already at home waiting on you. He'll show up eventually so don't worry." she told the woman, opening the door for her.

Sweeney didn't do anything, but he wasn't happy. She was messing with his cover. The woman would alert the authoraties when he did not come back, and this was the last place he was. Not worth the risk. He pushed Rosetta safely out of the way, pushed the now terrified woman against the wall and snapped his razor across her throat, killing her quickly, the smallest of mercies he could give. Her blood sprayed him full in the face. He dropped her body and grabbed a cloth, cleaning his razor, concentrating on it for an excuse not to look at her.

Rosetta stumbled and fell backwards when he pushed her out of the way, landing on her butt. She looked up just in time to see the woman's body fall to the ground. She put a hand to her mouth to muffle a scream when she saw the woman's throat and the blood everywhere, her eyes wide with shock. She put a hand to her own throat, afraid she might be next. She felt foolish. Sweeney had just told her that she could trust him, but then he had just killed someone right in front of her. She put her head in her hands, covering her eyes so she couldn't see the motionless body in front of her. "W-Why?" she asked shakily, her voice barely a whisper.

The blood made a.strange gurgling noise as it left the body. He looked up, sorry that he'd scared her.Do you really want her to go to the authorities? Then I have to kill at least three people. Easier this way, really.

Rosetta didn't lift her head, keeping her eyes covered. "Both of them are...dead. W-What if they had children?" she asked weakly, feeling sick as she thought about the dead body only a few feet in front of her.

He hauled the body to a space of floor behind his chair, pressed a button and a chute opened. He dumped the body in and the chute closed. Thumping sound came from it, the sounds of a dead body sliding down to the first floor.So now you know. I'm a monster. Run away. Go on. Save yourself.He turned and stared out the window.

Rosetta heard Sweeney, but she didn't move. She finally looked up at him and her green eyes were filled with tears. "I...I'm not going to run away." she said quietly.

He turned to face her.Why?~His expression remained deadpan.

Rosetta looked down at her hand in her lap. "I've run away all my life. You're the first person who has accepted me for what I've done and the first person who said I could trust them." she said, pulling at a string on her dress as an excuse not to look up.
