He stroked her hair absentmindedly, his thoughts straying to Lucy and his family.

Rosetta buried her face in his chest and finally got ahold of her crying. She clutched his shirt in her hands. "I'm sorry." she whispered shakily.

He closed his eyes and a spasm of pain jerked through his chest. He gasped and tried to breath. The pain of Lucy was literally burning him.

Rosetta glanced up at Sweeney's face and her mind filled with a new kind of panic. "Sweeney? Sweeney what's wrong?" she asked shakily, nervous.

Rosetta grabbed Sweeney's face gently in her hands and lifted his head up to look into hers. "Sweeney, please. What's wrong?" she nearly begged.

His features were set in anger and pain. He looked.at her and knew that he would have to choose. He made a small sound of pain before looking into her eyes. She could choose. He let out a gasp as his chest burned again.

Rosetta winced at the look on his face and the obvious pain in his aurora, but she didn't move away. She was panicking. She wanted to so something to help him, but she didn't know what was wrong.

Sweeney glanced out the window and saw the judge coming towards the shop. His chest burned so badly that he cried out, and got up quickly. His revenge was nye.

Rosetta stayed on the floor, confused and worried. She pushed herself to her feet and grabbed Sweeney's shoulder. "What's going on?" she asked, her voice panicked.

He looked at her, his face was evil. The judge was coming up the steps. Listen, and man who is very much interested in raping pretty women is coming up the stairs. If I were you, I would hide!

Rosetta's eyes filled with fear at Sweeney's words. "What? Where can I hide?" she asked, looking around franticaly.

Rosetta shrank back in fear of the angry man Sweeney had suddenly become. She quickly went and opened the chest and got inside, pulling it partly closed behind her.

The judge entered. Sweeney stood as stiff as a board.

Rosetta watched the two men from her hidding spot, trying to control her trembling.

The two men started talking, Sweeney staring at him.

Rosetta tried to listen, but her heart was pounding in her ears so loud she couldn't hear anything.

He eventually got the judge to sit down. He got ready to strike.

Rosetta put a hand over her mouth to hold back the gasp as she realized what Sweeney was about to do. She wanted to stop him, but she didn't have the right. She wanted to close her eyes and look away, but she couldn't.

He took his razor and swept it across the judge's throat slowley. It sprayed the glass roof.

Rosetta could barely muffle the scream as she saw all the blood. She finally let the chest close completely as she huddled in the dark, wishing she hadn't seen what she just did.

Sweeney laughed. He had never felt so free.

Rosetta stayed huddled in the chest, not daring to even peak out of it. She shivered as she heard Sweeney's laughing.

His eyes went to the chest and he lifted it open with his razor before going to drag the body away, all the while smirking.
