She went back to his lips, kissing him with a sudden urgency. Her leg hooked up around his body as she felt her heartbeat go crazy. Love you.She whispered against his lips.

Rome's eyes widened as she kissed him, but he smiled when he heard what she said. He rolled over, taking her with him so that she was laying on top of him. "That's a good thing, because I love you too." he told her, kissing her deeply.

She moved her head forward to gently suck the skin on his neck before biting it softly and moving back to his lips.

Rome shivered, smiling against her lips. He brought his hands up to trace the tattoos on her face. "You're to beautiful for your own good." he whispered.

She laughed quietly.And you're too in love with me for your own good.Her skin tingled where he touched it. She put her hands on his chest and kissed him a little harder.

Rome chuckled and shook his head. He ran his hands down her back and pulled her closer, kissing her again. He suddenly heard a low nicker and pulled back. "No, no, no. Don't you dare!" he gasped, holding onto China tightly. He heard a large splash and then several large waves lifted him up and pushed them farther up the bank. He looked over to see Senshi standing in the middle of the river, nickering.

China burst out laughing.Senshi! Bold boy!

Rome growled and sat up in the water, putting China in his lap. "Stupid horse." he muttered. Senshi snorted and shook his mane, sending icy water at Rome. Rome glared at his demon. "You're a pest." he grumbled. When he heard China laugh he lifted his hand to hide his smile.

She giggled at his expression. Think he's trying to tell us something?

Rome rolled his eyes. "The only thing that horse could be telling us is how much a pain in the backside he is." he mumbled. He fell back in the water making it splash around them. "What's your opinion?" he asked. He glared at the stallion as the huge horse pawed at the water, splashing it everywhere.

She smirked.My opinion is that this feels exactly like a wave machine.She giggled.

Rome couldn't help it, he laughed, shaking his head. He heard the stallion nicker and the next thing he knew Senshi was standing right next to them. The huge horse rested his muzzle against China's shoulder, his eyes seemed to flicker with amusement. "Ugh. You're worse than Silva." Rome grumbled.

China snorted, the horses weight nothing. She looked at Senshi. What are you doing? She sent the thought to him.

Rome crossed his arms behind his head. He sighed, closing his eyes. Senshi nuzzled the vampire's cheek with his velvety muzzle. 'I'm watching out for Rome. I know he loves you, but by a human's standards you are beyond beautiful and that means there are others who are attracted to you. It would destroy him if you left him. You've only known eachother for a little over a day.' he thought back to her, his eyes becoming serious.

She looked at Senshi. I wouldn't do that. I love him. A vampire will never leave their mate. Never.

Senshi snorted softly. 'What happens if the new one, Fletcher, decides he wants you? What if he takes you away?' he asked her. Rome opened his eyes and looked at China. "Are you alright?" he asked, confused. He looked at his demon. "If he's bothering you just tell him to go away. I'm sure he'll listen to you before he listens to me." he told her.

She shook her head and took his hand in hers. He already wants me. I don't love him. I've known him since the 1300s. Please. She put her hand on Senshis nose.

Senshi snorted and pulled his head away. He tossed his head and walked out of the water. When he was up on the bank he shook himself off, sending water flying. He trotted into the trees his black coat blending in with the shadows. Rome looked at the spot where the horse dissappeared. "Well that was strange. I wonder what his problem was." he said looking back at China.

She cleared her throat.He was concerned... about you.

Rome looked at China confused. "Concerned?" he asked, glancing back at the dark trees.

She nodded. He was worried that I would leave you.She suddenly heard something to the right. She'd check that out later.

Rome sat up and pushed his wet hair out of his face. "What? You can understand him?" he asked. He suddenly felt worried himself. "Would you leave me?" he asked her quietly, avoiding her eyes.

She pushed the rest of his hair back.Never. A vampire can't leave their mate. It's a bond tighter than anything else in the world.She heard the sound again.Stay here. I need to check that out.

Rome looked at her. "We're mates?" he asked, stunned. He was suddenly alert. "Check what out?" he asked.

I'll explain later.She stepped out of the water. The water clung on to her, shaping and coloring itself, until she was wearing a black waistcoat with white skinny jeans and black high heeled boots. She walked to the forest and stepped inside. She walked to the noise and looked around, searching for the noise. She saw a flash of black and everything went dark. Fletcher looked at China lying on the ground. He smirked when he thought about what he would do to her. He grabbed her and ran to his territory.
