Lover sighed and stretched his neck towards the sun,opening his jaws in a large yawn.

Singer opened one eye, and laughed, shaking her head softly. "Tired?" she remarked, watching him with both eyes now.

"I'll get over it.Eventually." He shook out his coat and yawned again."Let's find a stream or something.Maybe that'll wake me up." He smiled at Singer and sniffed,quickly catching the scent of running water.

She jumped up, and stretched, arching her back up. Then she stood, flicked her tail, and trotted towards the water. "Come one lazy." she said affectionately back to him.

Lover walked close to her,his shoulder pressing lightly against her hip.He gently licked her back as they walked. His ears suddenly perked,and he ran forward suddenly,jumping off of a ledge. A few seconds later, a huge Splash was heard,accompanied by heavy laughter.

She peered over the ledge, laughing so hard she almost toppled in after him. then she disappeared, running up and leaping off, diving headfirst into the river. She broke the surface, still laughing.

Lover doggy-paddled in circled for a moment before diving under water.He swam up to Singer's leg and nipped it playfully before surfacing to cough up the water that had gone into his mouth when he had opened it underwater.

She chuckled, and dove, swimming under his belly. She nipped his two front paws, and then swam up at his side, not coughing at all. "Maybe you need some more practice..." she grinned.

"Eh,I'll work on it.Seeing as it's a vital life skill." He chuckled and slipped back underwater.A few seconds later, a fish flew into the air and landed on the beach,immediately dead."Snack time!" Lover swam up under Singer and shoved her into the air.

She laughed, and crawled out onto shore. She stood, and shook all the water from her coat, sending shattered arcs of water through the air.

Lover padded onto the beach with another fish in his jaws.He dropped it next to the other one."Ladies pick first."

She picked the smaller, licking his nose before carrying it a couple of feet away. then she crouched to devouer the fish.

He chuckled and smiled as he ate the fish,eating it like a normal wolf,not a vampy.He sat up and licked his lips after he was finished,then dove back into the water.

She chuckled, and when she finished she followed him into the water, but only waded until it was barely covering her back.

Lover pulled himself up onto the bank so that all but his head was covered in water. He closed his eyes contentedly.

"It feels so good, doesnt it?" she said, her eyes half closed as it washed over her fur.

"It's really relaxing." Lover scooted forward a little bit so he could stretch his neck out without drowning himself.

Before he could move, Singer had pounced, tumbling him into shallower water. She poinned him, the water shallow enough he could breathe, and licked his nose."I win." she said with a grin.

Lover growled playfully."No fair,you had a head start!"He chuckled and playfully nipped her chin before rolling.Now he was above her."I win."

"Nope. It was already over before you could do anything about it." she said through her laughter. She nipped his ear, and pushed her paw against his chest.

Lover braced himself and used Singer's paw to execute a backflip. He landed in deeper water,sinking to the bottom.
