Lee entered first, and spoke to the woman at the front desk. Then she nodded, as Cassie and Denis entered.

Denis nodded in her direction, "Hello."

She smiled politely, and waved them through. Cassie Sat, Oct 9, 2010 the way towards puppies. "We need a cat or two." Lee put in. "Mice don't listen to me. They don't comprehend."

Denis laughed and walked over to the puppies.

They were greeted by yapping, by all different breeds, sizes, and colors of puppies.

One little puppy however caught his eye. It was a little mutt and it was dark brown with a black muzzle, black legs, and a black tip on his tail. Denis picked him up and looked at him, "I think I found my puppy" Denis smiled and turned towards Cassie and Lee.

Lee scratched his ear, grinning. "Good choice." Cassie grabbed the clipboard, and led the way to find an adoption agent to authorise it. They passed the cat section, and Lee hesitated, and then disappeared through the door. Cassie rolled her eyes, and waited at a counter. "Whatcha gonna name him?" She asked

Denis smiled a name he liked had already crossed his mind, "He reminds me of a chocolate cake soo... Mousse."

The agent smiled, and put a pen on the dogs files. "Okay, you need to fill out the forms." He said. Lee appeared with a cardboard crate in each hand, beaming. .

Denis filled out a the paperwork and looked over at the boxes.

She smiled secretively. The agent put a leash on mousse, handing it to Denis. Cassie grinned.

Denis took the leash and playfully rolled his eyes "I don't even want to know"

"Yeah, I know you do." She grinned. Cassie turned."Lrts get out of here, before Lee adopts another pet."

"Cool with me." Denis laughed and jumped in shotgun before anyone else could take it. Mousse barked happily on his lap and licked his cheek.

Lee hopped in with her carriers. Cassie got in the front and gunned the engine. Pokey and Matty barked. Cassie pulled out into the road.

Mousse barked happily and jumped up on the dashboard and lay against the warm glass. Dennis smiled and looked and Cassie "Thanks."

Cassie grinned, and there was a grumpy meow from the back seat, followed by Lee shushing the cat.

Denis laughed. "Cats are adorable."

"Especially when they chase off the mice and rats that eat us out of home and barn." Said cassie, pulling up to the gate and waiting for it to open. Lee nodded.

Denis laughed, "I had two when I was a kid, not for killing though, just as pets."
