She had spun, and now had his small scruff gripped in her mouth. "Don't think you can outwit me." she said, voice muffled. She dropped him on the ground, and flicked his ear affectionately.

Tigerpaw shoved into her with his shoulder,pinning her he snipped a bit at her throat,like a warning he would give.

She did a sort of twist, pushing him so he landed with a thud. She pinned him, front paws on either shoulder. "You've gotten better.' she commented.

He grinned and shoved her backwards,giving an extra heave she landed with an BANG!. He pushed down with all his weight,there was no trying to get up now. "Thanks,it just means one step closer in warrior cermonie!"

Nightpelt watched the almost - warrior apprentice.

"She laughed. "But you're still pretty far away." She stood, stretching her shoulder. 'Im an agile fighter. I use my small frame and quick movement as my advantage. You use all of your strength and pinned me, but that wouldn't of worked with someone who fights like you."

"Yea but I'm not full grown!" He grinned.

"Anyways. If you wanted to do that move correctly, You would abruptly slam into me, but not just with your weight. You would try and get a paw behind one of my legs, and yank it so i would fall. Then pin me in a way i couldn't se my back claws or front, and make sure you keep your throat protected. It was out and open. If i weren't your mentor, i would've bit clean through your windpipe, and you'd be dead."

He let her sit up and did as she said and ducked his chin.

She nodded. "now, if you were fighting with someone who depends on speed, they would've pinned you before you could've finished the move. You must use a different approach for each type of fighter. For speed, you need to think, be one step ahead of them. You have to know what they are going to do. Depend upon their speed to stop them from thinking quick enough. You would fake that direction, and they would go to attack your other side. So you'd put out your other paw, and hook their front legs, and pull, pushing your weight on them and pinning them like i told you." She said. "You have to watch your foe, find out how they fight, how they wrok. And then you can interpret how to fight them."

He cocked his head,"What am I suppose to do?"

She laughed softly. "Watch them, and figure out how to fight them right."

He got frustrated,twitching he silently teared up grass."[/b]

She sighed. "Tigerpaw. Please, calm down. you just have to watch how they fight. Eventually, you'll learn how to figure out how to fight them and beat them according to their fighting styles." She flicked her tail. "I think we're done for today. Tomorrow, we'll go hunting."

He turned around and faced the tree,he wanted to get this right. He leaped at the tree and clawed up it.

She sighed, watching him climb it. Then she turned and went back to camp. She climbed her tree, and retreated into her den.

He furiosly growledat the tree. He couldn't get it right! He let out a ferocious growl,leaping down from the tree he stalked away from it. A terrible look on his face he stalked through camp heading towards te nursery then swerved towards the apprentices den. Claws' tearing up the way he slashed the dirt angrily. Why?!!! I can't 'figuire it out!'! He walked towards the camp entrance and shredded up some moss agrily. Taking it back to his den he cleaned out his nest and shoved out all the old moss and put in the new. Shoving it under the tree he circled his new bouncy nest. He settled down and growled to himself falling asleep.

Rosepaw slipped in. She blinked,and sighed. He was always getting frustrated over something. She sat on a spot f his nest he wasn't laying on, and curled beside him, her paw over his shoulder.

He turned to the other side and saw Rosepaw,he gently removed her paw and pulled her close to him,falling asleep again.

She sighed, closing her eyes. "It's not so much of a big deal.' she reassured him softly, flicking her tail over his back leg. Then she readjusted, and fell asleep.

He nosed around in her fur trying to wake her.

She rolled away, grumbling, and crawled into her own nest to stop him trying to wake her. She flicked her tail over her nose, squashing her eyes shut.
