Wes nodded, then stood up, leaving the pasture and now leaning over the fence to watch Wicca and Nightshade. Jake came out, leaning on the fence as well. "Well. Looks like this was successful." He said, glancing to Wes, then over to Wicca and Nightshade. "That's a nice colt, too." He said with a nod.

Wicca looked up, and noticed anothr strange man. Where did they keep coming from? As long as he stayed on the other side of the fence, she'd be fine. Shade finished suckling, and began toddling around, trying to trot, but failing miserably. Wicca nickered, and tried showing him. He soon got the hang of it, and soon the two were cantering around together.

Jake chuckled quietly, smiling at the two softly. "So she's the one you got at the Auction? She's kinda skinny, something tells me she was abused by previous owners." He murmured to Wes quietly, the two were now whispering to each other. Then they both continued to watch Wicca. Argon came out, apparently he had found another way out of his stable, he then trotted to the Pasture fence next to Wes and Jake. He nickered quietly over to Wicca and Shade, snorting softly.

Wicca stopped canteringaround, and looked over at the stallion who'd just arrived. She gave a greeting whinny, and then, she was almost knocked over by Shade, who'd slammed into her by accident, as he tried to stop cantering.

Jake and Wes chuckled quietly, Argon whinnying in a bit of laughter. "Silly colt..Needs some more training, although..We shouldn't start training him until he's at least a year old, that way we don't make him skinny like his mother here.." Jake said, sighing a bit. He patted Argon on the shoulder, Wes sitting on the pasture fence like he usual did.

Wicca, followed by Shade, walked over to Wes. Her eye was set on Jake as she set her head on Wes's leg, unsure if he was dangerous or not. Shade laid down next to his mother. He was tired, and wanted a nap (Slight fail Dx)

Jake reached to Wicca, slowly, just to pet her. Wes smiled at her, and her colt. Argon snorted quietly, and laid down.

Wicca pulled her head away, and snorted. She pushed closer to Wes, and if she pressed any harder, she'd be pressing Wes's legs into the would. Shade looked up, wondering why his mom was acting so weird. That other human was just trying to be nice.

"It's okay girl, Jake won't hurt you."Wes said to Wicca calmly. Jake made another attempt to pet Wicca, once again slowly. Argon laid his head through a space in the fence, nickering softly again.

Wicca allowed Jake to pet her, but she ws tensed, and ready to bite if she felt he might hurt her. Shade made a stuttering word, speaking to Argon. D-d-da-da-daddy? He asked. He had no idea if he was, so he may as well ask.

Argon winked towards Wicca, of course, meaning that he was going to be the kid's father. After all, Argon was fatherly to colts and fillies. "Yes, son?" He nickered in a sweet, kind fatherly voice to Shade. He smiled warmly towards Shade. Jake patted her softly, smiling towards her. He then glanced to Argon, and chuckled a bit. Wes smiled at Argon and Shade, how cute.

Wicca chuckled. She watched Shade as he nuzzled Argon. She'd almost forgotten a stranger had been touching her. She glanced back at him, before returning her gaze to Shade and Argon. I-I Lo-luf Y-you. Shdade stuttered. He liked this talking thing.

"I love you too, son..." Argon replied, smiling in a fatherly way. Jake and Wes smiled, they both thought this was cute themselves.

Wicca smiled. She was glad that, even though Argon wasn't Shade's real father, he'd given Shade the chance to have one. Shade had lain down next to Argon, and had drifted off to sleep.

Argon nuzzled Shade lightly, smiling still. Jake and Wes were glad about this. Jake sat down, petting Wicca quietly.

Wicca soaked up the attention, the first feel attention since being bought at the auction. She sighed contentedly, and leaned against Wes a bit. Shade woke up at Argon's touch, at nipped his muzzle gently, in a playful way.

Argon chuckled, and playfully nipped at some of Shade's mane gently.

Shade squealed excitedly, suddenly wishing "daddy" were in the paddock with them. Wicca pulled away from Wes and Jake, and began to graze, as she was still a bit hungry.

Argon then stood up, trotting over to Jake, and nuzzling him in the face. Jake laughed lightly, smiling at Argon. He petted Argon gently, then reached out to pet Shade, of course, holding out his hand for Shade to sniff. Wes smiled at Argon as well, then watched at Wicca grazed.

SHade sniffed Jake's hand, making sure he smelled every single inch of it. A sudden burst of enery caused him to gallop in a circle. He returned to the fence to get some attenion, sice his mom was grazing.

Jake smiled, petting Shade quietly.

Shade leaned into the pets. Wicca walked over to the fence, and gently nuzzled his cheek. Thanks for..you know.. She said, before she looked over at Shade, and gave a horsey smile.

"No problem." Argon said, smiling brightly. He really didn't mind being a father, especially if he had an adopted son. Jake patted Argon again, smiling up at him.

Wicca sighed, and lowered herself to the ground. Exhaustion had it her like a wall. All the running around and stuff had taken a toll on her already weakened state. All she needed, she hoped, was a nap. Shade saw his mom sink to the ground, and scrambled over. He nudged her, and she opened an eye. Boo! She said. Shade squealed, and ran away. He ran back, and plopped down next to his mom.
