( Laya? Nope XD

"Can you put Ariba on the other side of Midnight? Thanks."

(no, i mean Lightning. Her race name is Saetta Fisso)

She nodded, putting the friesian beside her stallions stall. She was going to bring in the horses for lunch. Cassie was at the other end of the barn, still working.

She whistled and Ariba came up to the fence,she slipped her red halter on and clipped the long red lead line on too,taking only Ariba out she put her in her stall... Mabye after lunch she would ride Ariba.

Lee opened Night and Lightings doors, and then opened the gate. The two trotted into their stall, Lightning going and pulling her hay down from her rack, night checking his feed trough. She shut the door and bolted them, but left the top half open. Night leaned his head out, looking over at Lightning. Lee dumped their sweet feed into their troughs, and they started munching away. She gave laya a full scoop after looking at her body. Then she glanced at Ariba. 'How much does she get for lunch?"

"one pound of alfalfa,10 pounds of grain,and 2 pounds of hay." She knew exactly how to feed Ariba and keep her heathly and strong. She walked up to Midnight and pet him on the side of his face. She grinned and asked Lee,"Would Midnight ever be out for stud? He would probley get a lot of people!"

She shrugged, measuring out the food. Then she dumped it in the mares bucket. "I don't know. Maybe after competition season. I think it would cost him the competitions." She shrugged, putting away the wheelbarrow in the feed shed. She pat his forehead gently, and he looked at her with admirance. "Hey pretty boy." she cooed, running her hand under his chin. He snrted,a nd then went back to eating.

She shrugged a little, and leaned on his door. "I can;t do it now, but maybe late on in the year. Our training is due to start in a week, and he has to concentrate." Cassie came walking down the aisle. "Yup. I take over her chores when she trains. The only reason this company is wealthy is because of her competitions and my races."

She grinned,"Well now you have Ariba,a riding instructor and Laya!"

Lee laughed, and Cassie smiled. "We could start lessons." she said. "Another form of income. We got a busy week ahead of us. I want to get this painting done before Lee starts living in her saddle."

Cassie smiled. "Yup. But, you're a border unless you want to partially-own the land with us. but you can work off your board, which lets us save money, even though four stalls don't take too long to clean." she laughed, and Lee smiled.

[b]"I'll do anything for what you all do,I love the rescue idea! I could probley go build a run-in shed too.

They nodded. "But I dont think we're running out of stalls anytime soon." Cassie said, beckoning at the 96 empty stalls in the large barn.

She laughed. "Don't worry about it. We could go trail out at sunset. It's soo pretty.' Lee nodded in agreement, and so did Lightning. Lee burst out laughing at her friends racehorse.

Ariba cocked her head,she head never heard of the word 'trail'.


Laya kicked her stall door in anticipation.

Lareta walked over to Laya and put her halter and leap rope on,she would get her ready for the trail already. Grooming and tacking her up she kept her in the hallway until Lee and Cassie said it was time to go.

Cassie put a thin wire on around Nights neck, and that was it. She opened his door, and waited. Cassie outfitted her horse in a western saddle and briddle, with a black pad. "Let's go." she said, smiling. She led the palomino out, and swung up into the saddle. Lee let Lareta go first, holding her stallions mane.

She leaped up onto Laya's english saddle. Swaying she followed Cassie.

Lee walked out, the friesian following her. She turned, murmering something, and he lifted his leg, looking adoringly at her. Shet used his hoof as a mounting blovck of sorts, and slid up onto his back. She flicked the wire a little, and he turned towards the main trail. Cassie followed, her mare snorting gently.

Laya snorted and broke into a fast trot.

Lightning followed, and Cassie gently slowed her. Night just sped up his walk a little, being plenty bigger than them.

Today Laya was happy to be out,Lareta let her into a swift calm light canter.

They came to an open field. Cassie let the reigns loose, and Lightning took off around the edge, stretching her legs. Night snorted, keeping at a nice, calm walk. He was in no rush to run about.

Laya's Thoroughbred heart kicked in,Lareta let her riens loose and she took off faster than Lightning.
