She noticed him stiffen, and frowned slightly. But she shrugged it off. She flicked her tail to the large tree in the center. "My den is in the tree. You cant see it but it is in there. And the largest branch is the High Branch(like high rock)"

GoldClaw unfroze, he started running in the opposite direction. Calling over his shoulder in a choked voice," Sorry". He swiftly disapppeared into the forest

She looked down and sighed. She strode to the tree and leaped onto the broad, flat branch nimbly. Then she lay, on her side, and closed her eyes, the tip of her tail flicking.

At that, Flowerstar leaped up, streaking out the camp entrance. She swiftly caught up, and, hissing, launched herself onto the dogs back. Her claws scraped down its side, drawing blood, and she bit its ear, yowling.

The dog growled and turned, ready to attack

The dog stopped and looked sheepish

SFlowerstar landed, sitting, but she hissed, her back arched.

The cat turned, closer you could tell it was a tom. " Hiya, Im Brindle and this is Maybella"

She looked skeptically at the dog. "I am Flowerstar, leader of Nightclan." she said, her voice calm, her body stil stiff but not as hostile.

Brindle leapt onto Maybella and looked down at the cat," whyr you so skinny? Your people dont feed you enough?"

She sat. "My people? What are people?" She asked, confused. "I am not skinny anyway. I eat plenty, there is much prey in this territory. Which, i might inform you, you are trespasing on." her voice was touched with a gentleness. It wasnt as if she were going to drive them off. She would inform them, yes, warn them, yes, but not attack innocents.

Maybella seemed to look shocked

Brindle looks down at the dog," doesnt know what people are eh?" and rolled his eyes," people are the things that walk on two legs and make wierd mouth sounds"
