Eye Patch nodded and led the way out of the trees. He stopped when he spotted Jax beside Megan. He tossed his head and snorted, warning Jax to keep his distance. He shook himself and felt more blood drip from his back and groaned when his jaw started to hurt. He tried to keep his legs from shaking and stood at his full height even though it hurt his back.

Jax snorted back which meant he saw Gentle nudging her, Megan continued to sit there.

Eye Patch didn't trust Jax after what Rex had done. He glared at the other stallion. He snapped his teeth together and pinned his ears back, pawing at the ground. He looked to Megan, wondering if he should try and chase Jax away.

She patted Jax on the neck softly.Then Jax stared at the ground.Megan stared at the clouds and lied down, she sighed staring at the shapes of clouds.

gentle pushed Eye patch up so he would not fall.

Eye Patch snorted softly as he felt Gentle push him up. He looked over at her, his eyes softening, but returned his attention back to Jax, glaring at the other stallion. He could already feel the spot on his jaw swelling where Rex had kicked him. He snorted and moved forward to stand between Jax and Gentle, stumbling slightly as pain flashed through his back. He whinnied to Megan. He didn't trust Jax enough to leave Megan with him, and he also didn't want to leave the girl because she reminded him so much of the little girl he used to know.

Jax snorted and lied down next to Megan, she looked at Eye Patch, Gentle, and Jax."You can leave now Jax."she patted him on the neck and he cantered off neighing that he would soon meet Megan again.She sighed, and sat up looking at the two.

Eye Patch watched Jax leave and waited until he was out of sight before he let himself sink to his knees, his exhaustion overwhelming him. He looked over his shoulder at his back and saw it was covered with wet and drying blood. He had never fought more than one horse in a day and not this many strong ones. He nickered over to Megan, asking her if she was alright.

Megan simply nodded, but then sighed the thought of probably loosing something she now had a fear..

Eye Patch forced himself back up to stand and stumbled over to Megan. He streched his neck out and nuzzled the girl's cheek gently.

Gentle stood there.

She looked at Eye Patch."No, I'm fine, its you that needs rest, boy."she said quietly.

Eye Patch snorted softly and pressed his nose against Megan's shoulder. He stepped back and laid down beside the girl, sighing. He looked over at Gentle and whinnied softly, asking if she was alright.

Gentle neighed back and walked forward.

Eye Patch stretched his neck and nudged Gentle's leg with his head, happy that she was okay.

She walked up and stood next to megan and him.

Eye Patch turned his head towards Megan. He whinnied and nudged the girl's hand gently.

Gentle shivered. A weird thought came over her.. She sniffed.. what was that smell-

Eye Patch glanced at Gentle curiously. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"nothing" She flicked he rears. "Men!" She yelled and reared..


- my plot is she gets caught.

Eye Patch snorted and struggled to stand. He fell once before managing to get his legs under himself. He swayed slightly as he whipped his head around looking for the humans.

gentle turned at the sworm of men. She ran forward and reared kicking.

"Gentle! Get back here!" Eye Patch screamed. He used the small amount of energy he had regained and raced after her. He reared up at one of the men and lashed out with his front hooves, clipping the man on the shoulder. He dropped back down to all fours and staggered, but was soon back up on his rear legs. He was determined to protect Megan and Gentle, even at his own risk of being hurt.

All gentle herd were screams and shouts, She tripped from rearing and 5 of the men had slid a rope over her neck. SHe cried out as she fell to the ground..
(like in Spirit!)

Eye Patch saw Gentle fall and let out a shriek of outrage. He lunged forward and barreled into one of the men's horses, then spun around and reared up striking at anything close enough.
