The small filly pulled from the ropes, but the awful two-legged creatures pulled her away from her mother. The larger horse threw her front hooves in the air, took the rope from the creatures control, and raced toward her 5-hour-old daughter, who stood, unnamed, in the creatures grasp.She whinnied, scared half to death. The mother took her hoof down on the rope, releasing the foal from the creatures control. She and her child began to run, but one of the two-legs pulled out something small and dark. A horrible clap came from the device, and the filly stumbled, a small, round, loody hole in her side. The mother screamed as she was driven away from her child. Another clap, and the filly fell, unconsious.

The filly woke up, her mother nowhere in sight. "M-Mommy? Mommy?! MOMMY?!?!?!" The filly began to cry, noticing all the two-legs were gone. She began to limp slowly to a distand figure, with what looked like other hores surounding it. She had hope; maybe her mom was there! She now had two gunshot wounds, but she only felt the one in her chest, not the one in her rump.

She finally made it to the back of the figure. None of the other horses noticed her. She fell down beside a barn, and noticed a two-leg. She would have gotten up and ran- if she had the strength.

RoseBud cantered out of the barn, ready to join the other horses, not notised by the two-legged. she peeked her head out of the door way, and seen the little filly. "oh my god!" she gasped. she then quickly sneaked out the back, and came at the filly's die. "get up child, and come with me!" she quickly gently nudged the fillyand encoreged her to get up on her legs.

She opened her eyes quickly, "Thank you." Her voice was small and weak. She pulled herself up, using the most of her remaining energy.

RoseBud Licked the small filly on her forehead, and trotted thro the openings of a tree, then down a small path, then thro tsome vines. She waited for the filly to follow.

Burst trotted over to the filly, "Oh Dear... you need help..." Burst cantered over to RoseBud, "I am sorry to "steal" her but she needs medical attention, it is alright, I will care for her, I have recently lost a foal and I still have lots of milk to spare." She nuzzled the mare than went back to the filly, "I know you are scared, but not all hu- two-legeds are mean like the ones who gave you that wound, if you would like to live, you need to follow me."

Lareta hurried out of barn,spotting the foal,she pushing aside the fretting mares,bending down to the foal with a warm milk bottle,inserting it into her mouth,she bandaged up her forehead and rump,but sanitized them and watered them before aplying bandages. She plastered on some ointment on her cuts and bruises,picking her up and hoisting her on Rosebud and Burst's back,"Now if you don't mind ladies we'll put her in Burst's stall,but for exercise we'll put her out in the pasture with Rosebud. Now common!" She leaped up on Burst's back,then planted a foot on each horse's back.

Burst shied away slightly at the pressure on her back, (her back is like bruised really bad) but went right back over and started walking to her stall.

The fillies eyes closed again. She was exaughsted. She willingly let herself be picked up, thinking of her mother, not relizing her mother was alive, and how much she looked like her mother.

Burst nuzzled the filly, "Your alright sweetie."

She weakly nodded her head,and mumbled something.
(her mother never had the chance to name her,although the mother has a name for her now)

"It's okay baby," Burst kept talking gently to her.

She sighed, falling asleep.
(idc, but her mom wanted to name her Black Majic)

Burst murmured to her then looked at Lareta.

She said something in her sleep, ut it was inaudile.

RoseBud nuzzled the filly. "are you ok? Burst and i will take care of you, dont worry!" She walked gently

(haha lol! i fogot to tell you, RoseBud is a stray, wild horse!)

"Yes, Mommy."

RoseBud turned to the other mare "poor filly. shes dreaming about her mother"

She opened her eyes with a start, a small tear falling down.

RoseBud noticed. "whats the matter darling?" she said gently and nudged the filly

"My mommy.I think they killed her."

"your mother? oh, darling. im sure they dident kill her. im absolutly positive she got away!"

Burst nodded, "How bout this, if you let these nice people here take care of you, when you get all well and all your stength is back, me and you, and RoseBud if she wants to come, will go out and look for your mom. Okay?"
