Star snorted happily and her tail thumped the sides of her stall as Cassie scratched.

She laughed. "What are you, part dog?" At the word, a border collie trotted into the barn, whole butt wagging furiously. There was a couple of barks outside that faded as Lee, her dog and her horse went out onto the trails.

Star looked at Cassie then moved away,snorting happily as Grant entered her stall. "Hows my girl?" Grant teased,scratching Star's forehead before she hugged Star's neck.

Denis smiled as a little pup came tearing into the barn.. He chased his tail around and barked happily.

Cassie dropped to a crouch. "Mousse!" She exclaimed, sheilding herself from Matty.

Grant laughed as the puppy came into the barn and she slowly grabbed a carrot out of her pocket to give to Star,who was sniffing around Gran'ts shirt.

Mousse jumped up at Grants legs ad tried to get the carrot.

"Look. Carrots aren't good for puppies,I wish I had a rawhide right now but I don't. Sorry fella."Grant whispered,kneeling down so she could scratch under the puppie's chin.

Mousse whined. Denis laughed at him. Daioh whinnied happily,

Grant stuck a hand in her pocket and felt around for something. Money,sugar cubes, baby carrots,and a sucker. She sighed and pulled a carrot out and tossed it to her feet.

Mousse grabbed it and ran around wildly. Denis laughed at him and Mousse reacted by wagging his tail he threw the carrot out of his mouth and chased it, no interstate in eating it.

"Butthead." Grant murmured as she watched Mousse run off with it to play.

Matty looked up with wide blue eyes, and twirled a few times. Cassie laughed and frowned, "Matty, no begging!"

Mousse threw the carrot at Matty.

She grabbed it and ran around everyone in a circle.

Mousse chased her around, grabbing for the carrot,

"Mousse!" Grant spoke,throwing a carrot in the air for it to fall beside the two rompers.

Matty dropped the carrot at Grants feet, looking up and wagging her tail. "She wants to fetch." Cassie laughed.

Mousse grabbed the other carrot and mimicked Matty.

Grant picked up Matty's carrot and threw it out the barn,watching as the dog took off.

Mousse whined. "Mousse!" Mousse looked up at Denis and wagged his tail. Denis laughed.

Matty tore off after the carrot, darting back in and dropping it, sitting. Cassie whistled softly. "All done. Go lay down now." She woofed softly, grabbed the carrot, and hopped onto a hay bale, laying and chomping on the carrot.

Mousse watched from the bottom of the hay bale, trying to jump up there too but fell down every time.

Cassie laughed, picking him up and plopping him down on the bale, next to matty. "There ya go boy."
