Scarlet sighed, wandering through the woods. She had been lost for ages, and was getting sick of the woods. For two days, she had gone without running into any forcers. But she felt like her luck was going to change. She was a pretty mare, a dark red roan, with white dusted across her back. Her frame was that of a perfect horse. She had long, strong legs, but they looked graceful still. Her body was thin, but sleek with muscle. Her head didn't dish the way a pure arabs would, but still was quite sculpted. She was the poster horse for the Anglo-Arab. She snorted, glancing around nervously. She contemplated calling for help, but decided against it. She flicked her tail, forgetting she was in heat. She sighed, and descded to rethink. She lifted her dome, and whinnied, letting every horse in hearing distance know exactly where she was. Maybe that was a mistake.

Woods heard the call and came trotting towards it, he answered before he saw the pretty mare, and when he did, his jaw dropped open slightly before he shut it quickly, "Hello, I am Woods."

(I'm gonna change the mare, lol. Sorryn its just that Scarlet pretty much has a mate now, so her names gonna be summer, and she's a palomino paint horse)

Summer smiled nervously, flicking her cream mane. "Hi, I'm Summer." She shifted, the speckles of weak sunlight that broke through the thick canopy dancing along her gold and white coat. She looked around. "I'm also kinda lost." She admitted.

Woods laughed, "I am Woods, and I am a bit lost too."

She laughed. "Well, maybe we should find a way out." She suggested.

Woods laughed as well, "That may be a good idea." He turned around the other way and started walking, he paused waiting for Summer.

She followed, her shoulder brushing his side as she nervously looked around. "This place is creepy."

"I know huh? Forcers stay here too," He shuddered at the thought and they came to a fork in the road, "Uh... Which way?" He looked at her and chuckled a bit.

She shuddered. "You shouldn't worry about forcers. Your not a mare." She shrugged, looking at both paths. "Beats me."

Woods chuckled, "Ya but if they come then there will be a fight, I won't let anyone hurt you," he smiled and turned left down the path.

She smiled, slightly embarrassed. "That may just be the nicest thing anyone has said to me."

He smiled at her.

She looked away quickly.

They came to the end of the forest, "Ah, looks like we went the right way."

"Yes!" She smiled, relieved.

He nuzzled her gently and kept walking he turned onto an almost hidden path.

She curiously followed, snorting.

They walked into a little clearing with rose bushes and bright sunshine glowing through the bright green trees.

She looked around. "Impressive."

Woods smiled as he began grazing.

She lay down beside a rose bush, and closed her eyes, drifting to sleep. Forgetting they were still in the wicked woods. Her gold and white coat shone in the sun.

Woods smiled and kept on grazing, he flicked his ears towards a rustle in the bush, he looked over as a little bunny hopped out. He smiled, nuzzling it gently.

Summer had drifted to sleep, delicate frame cushioned by the thick grass.

Woods gazed at her and lay down himself, he curled up around the rabbit, keeping it warm.

A thick snake wound its way through the grass and around her neck, loosely. Her eyes snapped open, and she gasped in shock.
