His eyes lit up,he slashed the ground and grabbed Throwa's mane. He reared and came down upon him. Smashing him into the ground.

Mistella walked into the cavern.

He trotted after her."Who was that ?"

"I dare not speak his name.for he will haunt me the rest of my life.I used to be his lead mare but I left to join a different herd.I found yours."She said.His voice lingered in her mind...Thowra....

"I hope not. But he did one thing that amazed me......He showed himself."Mistella murmured,trotting farther into the cave after Lady Luck.

He followed her and snorted. "He thinks he can get away."

"He does anyhow,no matter the sutiation.He was captured by twolegs once,but he escaped.He jumped off a cliff,and lived.He's done many things yet made it through the worst of them...."She added.

Shaton turned comepletely silent and faded. He laughed,"By turning himself invisible? He got a away but if I stay invisible tonight I can keep it for longer than an hour so I can battle him off. A invisble horse can sense another invisible horse."

"Not him. He's not invisible. It's what Bell-Bell taught him, to blend with mist and snow,to keep hiden.

"What about hiding?" Lady Luck asked as they approached her sleeping spot. Her ears were pricked with curiosity. Then she smiled slightly. "Shaton, come out."

Shje laughed. "When have I ever been bothered when another stallion challenges you? You always win. Plus, I wouldn't leave you."

"Yea,you'd probley bite his head off before you left." He laughed heartily.

She smiled, and yawned. "I'm a little too tired to do any biting right now.

He rushed her inside the cave,"I willnot have my foal born by a lumpy old tree again." He laughed again.

"Shaton, I've given birth twice. You need to chill, and trust me. Its not coming any time soon." She rolled her eyes, buit lay down against the wall, shivering slightly.

"I'm sooo not taking any chances." He stood beside her one ear pricked forward and the other towards her.

"I hope you're aware I'm not going to sleep until you're asleep next to me." She said matter-of-factly.

He sighed,"Fine. If I must,but don't blame me when you wake up screaming!" He smiled and laid down necxt to her,pressing against her warm body.

She laughed. "I won't." She lay her head on his fore leg, closing her eyes.

He put his head over her wither's ears pricked but falling lightly asleep.
