Shanti was saddened, but she didn't cry, although she wanted to. "I knew she was going to leave. She was always so...Independent. I held on too long." She said, still curled around Kahlo and Reno.

"i'm happy and sad.happy she's independent,but sad that our little girls all grown up."he sank his head down low.

Shanti got up, and stretched. She smiled. "It's good to be sad, but please down be so down. You're going to make me depressed. She said, nuzzling him. "Now. Give me a smile." She said. She was heart broken, but she wanted the mood to lightenen

he managed a smile and said,"she kept running away,thats what made me sad."he looked down at her and licked her muzzle."what would i do without you?"

She smiled. "Probabky throw yourself off a cliff. And anyway, she was probably running so it would hurt less for her. She wanted to end it quickly, I';ll bet."

"your probally right."he laughed."but she wouldn't let me answer her or tell her good-bye."he sighed."i should have told you this before."he revealed his 4 inch scar.

She stared at hthe scar. "What's that from?" She aske, looking up at him, hurt swimming in her eyes because he'd never mentioned it to her before.

"i didn't want you to worry.remember when whisper almost-almost drowned?"he stared at her.

She nodded. "I do. What does that have to do with the scar?" She asked.

"well,i thought that whisper was dead and i tried to kill myself."he whimpered and sagged his head.

Shanti nearly exploded, but she collected herself, and stayed calm. "Why didn't you tell me, Thowra?" She asked.

"i'm sorry,i didn't want you to worry."he looked up at her.

She looked calmly at him. "You shoul have told me. Then I wouldn't have been as hurt as I am now." She said. She went back to Kahlo and Reno. She wasn't angry or upset, but a little hurt.

"i'm sorry,how can i make it up to you?wait!i know,let the first litter stay here and protect them.and we can go to were we met!"he wagged his tail.

Shanti chuckled. "Alright." She said, and stood, stretching. Kahlo, Reno, and Jesse curled up together. (Jesse's her fave he's te sweetest boy of the litter)

he woke up the fist litter and said,"you watch the pups,me and your mother will be right back."he looked at them.

Duce, Lilly, and Grace nodded. They curled around the pups, to protect them.

Shanti started off.

he trotted to her and they walked side by side.

She was claming down. She was thankful for the walk.

they came where they had met."now it's less beautiful,because your here now."he licked her.

She smiled. "Thank yoou." She whispered. "Hey...Isn't that Whisper over there?

he looked and said,"oh my god,whisper!"he looked at shanti.

Shanti looked at him. She slowed her pace, and didn't say a word.

he looked at the male wolf coldly and said,"who are you?"he snarled.

Shanti glared at Thowra. "Thowraa, calm down. He's just another male, looking for a mate. Maybe he's here with Whisper." She said.
