POV: Shanti


I trotted into a clearing, the spring sun warming my dark fur. I sniffed around, the smell being most horses, but mixed in were the scents of humans, birds, and other creatures. I ventured out further, and gave a howl, for no reason. I summoned a slight breeze, that blew through my fur. I look around me as I sit, but see nothing so far. I spot a large lake, and a water fall, so I stand and walk over, paws padding quietly on the soft grass. I lap up some of the cool liquid, then lay down by the bank. I've come here for one purpose. Finding love...

he walked into the clearing and stopped in his thracks.he spotted a she-wolf.thowra walked up to her."hello.my name is thowra,what is your name?"he said politely.then he sat close to her,and whispered"you are the most beautiful wolf i have ever lied eyes on."then he simply licked her soft smooth fur,grooming her.

Shanti looked at the male wolf, a bit surprised at first, especially when he began grooming her. She didn't say anything for a moment, but then spoke. "Hi. I'm Shanti...And, thanks.." She said. Not only in response to his question, but what he'd whispered in her ear. She turned her head and began gently licking his ears and face(Lol!)

(You laive? *pokes alpha with a stick)

thowra's black coat gleamed like lightning bolt from the sky.

I looked at his coat as it gleamed. "Pretty..." I said... I suddenly came back to reality after a minute.

"thanks yours is too."he sat closer to her and said"i wonder what pups are like?"he buried his muzzle beneath his paws.i really want some pups.he thought.

Thanks... I wonder what they're like too..." I said sighing. I laid my head on my paws, waiting for something exciting to happen

suddenly he jumped up bowing."play with me!"he knew this would be able for him to get a mate.he started to pant waiting for her.

I jumped after he said "play with me" I wiggled my butt(xD) And pounced on him, nibbling on his ear

he chuckled then rolled on top of her and licked her muzzle.

She giggled, and licked his nose. She gave a playful growl, and rolled back on him, licking his face

he licked her face as well and got up running then playing again bowing,waiting for her to come still panting.he got back up and barked,growled,and yipped playfully.

She yipped and barked back, and ran at him, pouncing on him, and licking the top of his head

he laughed then started to lick her muzzle again."um....are you in heat?i mean if you want to tell me."he whimpered a little bit then started playing and licking her muzzle and face again."just wondering."he said.he rolled back on top of her and siad"i have never had pups before."he said then blushed.

She roll over onto her back. "I am in heat. And I've never had pups either..." she said to him. "Why blush? It's nothing to be embarrassed about." She said, as he licked her muzzle.

"well i thought that you would take the wrong way."he got off her and trotted to where the pond was andlayed down whimpering.i bet if i asked her to be my mate she would say no.he thought.he walked back over to her and said"would you be my.........."he couldn't finish the sentence.

Shanti shook her head. "I wouldn't take it the wrong way. I'm not one of those prissy she-wolves that freak out if a male wolf mention the words heat and pup.." She walked over to him, and laid next to him, a look of seriousness in my eyes "Yes. I know what you were going to say, and my answer is yes." I say, licking his face

"alright then i shall say it full to you this time.will you be my mate?"he started to lick her muzzle as well.then his paws so that he could clean her fur since she rolled around in the dirt.

Shanti giggled. "And I still say yes." She said, in full seriousness. She licked his nose as he cleaned the dirt off of the white part of her fur.

"so when do you want to mate?"he said.

She stopped licking his muzzle and looked at him. "Whenever you want to. I don't really care when it happens." She says to him, resuming her licking

"well then if you want your pups strong,a leader,and alittle agressive then do it now.but if you want them to be strong,social,and hides then do it later."you pick please.i am not the mother."he said then licked her ear.

She squeezed out from under him. "I say we do it now." She said. She wanted strong pups that would someday be great pack leaders. That's why she chose now. She looked at him, smiling.

he smiled back and mounted her then dismounted when he was finished."now your going to have pups!"he barked loudly.he licked and licked her muzzle.then walked under the waterfall waiting for her to come.
