Leopardpounce paces in circles,thinking deeply.He was a leader,but hadn't recieved his nine lives yet.He sprayed the corners of his new territory again,just to be sure that no one tried to claim it.Birdsong growled at him and he lumbered away to the nursery.Birdsong sat,watching the sun set over her new territory.She smiled:she finally had a clan.

A gold eye looked out from the orders, survieying the lands

Birdsong stood,bracing her lean figure."Who is there?"she asked the brush,voice filled with worry.

A kit ran out," Hiya im Knightkit" his gold eyes shinnigh

behind him tumbled out all of his siblings

"Awwww!Leopardpou-star!Come here,they're so cute!"All the worry was gone from her voice as her mate leapt out of the nursery,followed by their 6 kits and Fernface.Fernface "aww!"ed too as she and Birdsong watched Birdsong's kits tumble over to the other kits.Puddlekit ppiped up."Hi!I'm Puddlekit,what's your name?!"

Bluekit walked forward," I am Blue kit. My siblings are Leafkit,Windkit,Knightkit and Thunderkit." the kits stepped forward as they were called, you could tell that this was the leader

Puddle kit growled as Owlkit stepped forward and extended her neck to touch noses with Bluekit.The other kits spread out and stared at the new kits. Birdsong looked worried again."Where are your parents?"

KnightKit walked forward," We dont have any. We can take care of ourselves" his voice proud but there was sadness in his eyes

"Well then,would you like to be part of this clan?There's always room in the apprentice den or the nursery,"Leopardstar offered,seeing the look of pure joy on his kits faces.

KnightKit looked to bluekit

BlueKit shrugged," It might be hard for us to get use to clan life again. Anyways in our old clan we were already the best warriors" ( gasp!)

Leopardstar chuckled."So was that a 'yes' or a 'no'?"Birdsong cuffed him over the ear playfully as their kits and Fernface watched their leader.

Bluekit looked at the leader,"its a maybe. It would e hard for us to accept and grow close to other cats after we lost so much so fast" he eyes shined with the wisdom of so many years and yet she was so young

Owlkit sighed happily,staring at Bluekit.Leopardstar nodded."Feel free to stay as long as you like.I can assign mentors to you if you decide to join."He nods and steps back,into his den.

Windkit spoke up," We already finished training."

Bluekit nodded," only our leader didnt trust us enough to assing names. The camp was always in chaos because a elder could have a apprentice name whereelse a apprentice could have a warrior name."

"well then,feel free to share the warrior den with Fernface,"Birdsong said lightly."As soon as you feel ready,I can drag Leopardstar over here and he can give you warrior names.If you'd like..."Birdsong trailed off as her kits tumbled around playing lightly with each other.

WindKit pounced on her rother and the two started tumling

Fishkit stared in horror as he was thrown by his sister into the playfight.The other kits laughed as their brother tried to escape.Fernface gently whacked Runningkit with a soft brown paw.Birdsong nodded to Bluekit and sat,staring at the naughty Runningkit.

The rest of Bluekit's silings tumbled after them

Fernface nodded gently and her kits galloped after them,ambushing each other in the tall grass as the two she cats followed,giggling.

Bluekit folowed in the back

The silings disappeared in the tall grass

The wiggling stalks of grass gave away their positions as the kittens-exept Owlkit-tumbled about playfully.Owlkit sighed and trotted back to the nursery.

A full grown cat walked out, her pelt was liek the moon, white not silver thugh," Hello" her accent was wierd...like one from hundreds of years ago

Bluekit bristled, suddenly her silings where all around

Fernface whispered to Fishkit and he bolted back to camp.He returned with Owlkit and Leopardstar."What are you doing on my territory?"Leopardstar's voice was sharp and protective.

Fernface ushered her kits to the nursery and joined them."Bluekit,would you like to allow this stranger to join your game?"There was a slight growl in his voice.
