Sally rode on Freedom and she said"Is there anyone here?"she sat on Freedom while Freedom nibbled some of the grass she looked in the stable from on her horse...and saw other horses, she hopped off Freedom she didnt follow Sally she stayed there.Sally said again"Anybody home?"the horses glared at Freedom as Sally walked next to Freedom and got on again.

A girl walked from one of the many paddocks. She was very young, around 16, and had creamy tan skin, and silvery blond hair, matching grey eyes. She wore a loose shirt,that drooped off one shoulder, something that was comfortable with her ever-growing abdomen, and denim shorts. She had paddock boots on her feet, and a big black friesian stallion trailed after her. "Everyones off somewhere. Denis, Cassie, Lareta, Jack, Grant. Though I haven't seen Grant in a while anyway..." She trailed off. "Sorry. I'm Lee, me and Cassie own this place. Can I help you?"

"Yes, and by the way this is my horse Freedom and I'm Sally, We well I would like to board Freedom here Please."she smiled while Freedom continued nibbling the grass in front of the fence, then she said"No rope required to bring her into a stall, She's a good little lovin' horse"she patted Freedom's neck and Freedom whinnied in thanks, She hopped off Freedom again looking at Lee"I could help you in the stables mucking them out and all that i used to do that till i got fired."she looked at the ground and kicked a rock to the side.

Lee shrugged. "I finished about 30 minutes ago. Cassie was helping until there were only 5 left then she took Lightning out. That's her racehorse." She walked towards the barn. "We already have lotsa horses. But right now they're all in the pastures." The barn was empty, except for a dalmatian, chewing on a carrot.

"So...we can't board here?"Freedom lifted her head as if she sounded surprised at that, Sally patted her neck she looked at Lee then looked at Dalmation chewing on the carrot, then looked back at Lee.

She laughed. "Of course you can. I just mean, can she tolerate being in a barn with all these other horses? Or would you rather she be in a paddock? They have free standing boxes in them, and such. All the others are in stalls in here, but there are plenty stalls still. This big ol' barn fits 100 comfortably." The friesian still followed her , closer in the barn aisle, nibbling on her sleeve.

Sally looked at the Friesian and she said"Um...theres a horse nibbling at your...sleeve...oh and she can handle well doing with others she is very cooperated."she patted Freedom's neck once more.

Lee laughed. "Oh yeah. This is Night, he's my horse. Yeah he's telling me how much it tastes like the mash he spilled on me earlier." She tickled his nose, and he wandered past to sniff the dalmatian, who pawed his nose playfully. "Watch out, those two are like puppies. If you want to untack your mare, you can put your stuff in the tack room. There should be plenty of empty tack slots, where you can put everything together."

She laughed a bit,"Puppies? i think i can handle puppies. Oh yea...this might be a problem...ya see well Freedom is in season right now..i just took her to the vet then brought her here.."she patted Freedom softly, then told her to open her mouth and took the bridle out unlatched the saddle and took the pad and headed for the tack room hanging the tack on the wall then quickly ran back.

She shook her head. "Nights the only horse out, and he has manners. He goes out with Lightning, ever since we first met, and never tries anything on her. She used to try flirting with him, but now they're just buddies. And Freedom can go in a smaller pasture, we'll try putting her with one or two horses before throwing her headfirst into the mix."

"MMm..Kay but she mostly won't get along with mares unless she gets her way..."Freedom lifted her head and snorted then started nibbling at Sally's hat that she had earlier spilled delicous dry grass on her hat, She laughed and patted freedom on the neck,"Yea i guess stuff spills on clothes...like my hat she split dry grass mixture on it and it still smells like that.Could a get a apple here?"she laughed while Freedom made a snort that sounded like a Hm? Freedom stared at Lee still curious At what she meant by an apple."she really hasn't had an apple in a loong time.."she patted Freedom on the head.

(BTW i have a filly in Moonlights Oasis her name is Polka Dot xD...2 years...)

She shrugged. "Cassie's gone off with the last two. But there's a few in the kitchen. I'm sure she can be patient." She walked into the office, as the dalmation sprinted down the aisle to the far end of the barn, and disappeared outside, the friesian chasing. "Night, Pokey, don't break anything!" Lee hollered out the window. A bark replied. She sat at the computer, pulling up a file, browsing it. "Her stall can be in between two geldings, Blue and Ransom, next to a stallion, Champ, or as a last resort, Vixen. She's a sweetheart, but I don't want her to be too surrounded at the moment. She's due to foal around the same time as my due date." She chewed her lip. "I'd recommend between Blue and Ransom. And for paddocks, she can't be too busy. There are already herd orders between the horses that are together. No one goes out with Rey and Vixen, Rey would beat them up bad. Strobe's the leader of her little posse, Penny and Charlie would be a good pair, but they don't listen to any other horse. They're pretty settled. We'll probably play it by ear."

"Hmm...Well i want her to get along with stallions so...i guess next to Champ?"she walked into the office Freedom following close behind not wanting to miss out on what's going on.

"I don't think they'll get along, but we can try it for a few days." She typed in Freedoms name in a empty box on the chart, next to Champs name, and then opened a form up. "Fill this out, please? Just basic owner info, and what type of boarding you want to have."

She looked at the paper quickly reading it"Hmm, K"she signed the paper by writing on Freedom's back Freedom didn't really care, she handed it back to Lee."It's a good thing to at least try getting her to get along with Stallions.I mean she normally nips at their mane playfully.So yeah i guess Freedom is like a puppie too."she laughed.

"Well the stalls have bars between them. And Champ wouldn't tolerate any nipping, he'd straighten her out." She opened a drawer, filing away the paper in a folder. "Alright, her blankets, halters, etc, can all be hung on the front walls of the stall. Ill get Cassie to make her nameplate, and add her to the feed list. She'll do most of that. She's the business part of this place. Ill bed her stall, and she can go in. We can put some hay in her hay rack too." She smiled.

Sally nodded at all the words Lee could say, Freedom bobbed her head at all the words Lee could say "OK.Still she might wanna go wait in the pasture while you bed it down"she patted Freedom once again who was now eating her hat.

"We have a corral that's set aside from the paddocks. Sometimes we lunge in it, but there's grass in it, and some of its under cover." She suggested.

She nodded"K.."she watched as Freedom nibbled at her hat more which her hat was half eaten..she jumped back in surprise"She ate half of my hat!"she laughed but turned serious."Thats not good......"

"She might be fine, or might get colic. Let's not put her out, she might start eating sand. You could cross tie her and giver her a nice groom, I'll be done bedding the stall long before you finish brushing her down if you don't rush." She added, walking over and pressing her hand on Freedoms side gently. "I'm more of a specialist in birthing and pregnancy, which is ironic considering my current status, but I'm not bad at sickness either. Cassie's the best at physical injury, she can perform surgery, but prefers a... Different healing method. It literally takes minutes." She shurgged, stroking Freedoms neck. "Let's go get your stall sorted so you can settle in." She walked into the aisleway.
