Sunshine trotted around, chasing the birds that flew above her head. She stopped when the mountains hung over her, afraid to go up, but with no clear reason. She took a deep breath and walked up slowly, slowly. She stopped after half an hour, she was already a good one quarter up the slope. Too far for her tastes. As she turned to gow down, she heard growling. She turned again, to see a mountain lion staring her in the face.

Thunder a loner was walking onto the slope when he saw a mare in danger. he ran and reared at the mountain lion and pounded his hooves down.

She backed up, unable to speak. She tried and tried. Nothing.

Mountain lion did not want trouble it ran off. Thunder turned to the mare" and your welcome" He nibbled at some grass.

She uhered all her strength to say "Thank you."

He flicked his tail watching for other horses, but there were none. HE stepped closer and a little more.

Storm Was helping His father shaton patrol his land when he spotted one of the mares..and another stallion. He pinned his ears back and neighed for his father. Storm could'nt wait for shaton so he ran over to them and He slid to a stop. "Who the hell are you?!" He boomed. "What are you doing in our land?" his nostirls were flared and his tail flicked back and forth inpatiently.

Sunshine backed up, behind her brother. "Hello, Storm."

He glanced back at sunshine "Hello sister, is he giving you any trouble? " He glared at the stallion. stomping his hoof aggressively.

"i was scaring a mountain lion away, sorry" he backed away.

He snorted and regained himself. "Oh, I thought you were a forcer." He perked his ears up and shook his mane. He glanced back at his sister. then He breathed in deeply and smelled the mountain lion. The stallion had been telling the truth. "My apologies, But this is still our land and im afraid that you are not allowed here. If our father came he would probably kill you." he said calmly but truthfully.

Her voice small still, she managed to say "I'm sorry, I'm just a little shocked."

'If you want i can leave" he said not wanting to get hurt of any thing like that.

(Idk, I figured since storm has'nt been kicked out of shatons herd yet he could help out lol. and I'm StrongSilence on there I'll add you!"

He nuzzled his sister softly. "Your ok." He looked back at the stallion and tilted his massive head. "Hmm...We'll see what father would like to do with you. I dont think he would be mad since you saved my sister, his daughter." He thought about his fathers reaction, hoping it would be a good one. " Who knows, maybe you could help us somehow." He pursed his lips and flicked one ear back, Then he neighed for his father.

(secretly, i was hoping something would happen where she gets scars, like her mom has. idk y, but i thought it'd be a funny coincidence)

She nodded in agreement, afraid that if she talked, nothing would come.
